Dear savers, i got a question for you. Is this product necessary in you kitchen/life?

    • eyez1998

Too funny i was thinking the same thing

    • StephB

If you make a lot if hard boiled eggs I suppose so…. 90% of kitchen gadgets just end up gathering dust in my cupboards. Only ONE newer gadget that’s come out in the last 20ish years is a staple in my kitchen and that’s my George Foreman grill lol.

      What’s wrong with boiling?

These are great when you travel and want to have a healthy food option and don’t have a kitchenette.

      Great idea!

After purchasing a TV from HH Gregg I received a $100 reward card. I chose four small appliances and the total came to $100.35. (all four for only a $.35 out of pocket cost!) They all arrived yesterday. One of the appliances is a Cuisinart egg cooker. It made 10 perfect hard boiled eggs in about ten minutes. After they were cooked I submerged them in ice water for several minutes and every one of them peeled very easily. The egg cooker will also cook medium and soft boiled eggs as well poached eggs, and a three egg omelette. I would compare the convenience of using the egg cooker to the convenience of using a rice cooker. Great results and you don’t have to stand there and watch the cooking process.

That’s awesome! Thanks for such great feedback!

Got one of these (different brand) 46 years ago as a wedding gift. I thought it unnecessary too but when I used it, I never boiled an egg since. Eggs are perfect–no green around the edges and every one peels perfectly. Have had to replace it once and just recently bought a smaller one with which I can do 1-2 eggs. No pot watching. Buzzer lets me know they are done!

      Sweet!

I have one similar to this. I love the ease! I hated boiling water, huge pot etc, this is small, fast, does great!

Thanks Collin! I just ordered one.

You’re welcome! So glad you could score the deal!

I’m usually not one for all these kitchen gadgets but this egg cooker has been the BEST gadget my 83 year old dad has! He has been taking care of my mom since she had a stroke 6 years ago and now does all the cooking, and just today he was (once again!) telling me how much he loves this egg cooker and uses it ALL the time. I was contemplating caving in & looking into purchasing one for myself and then saw this deal…guess it’s a sign to go ahead & order one!

I don’t usually like gadgets either, but we have our own chickens and fresh eggs do not peel easily. I usually lose half the egg when peeling them. Just wondering if anyone has used fresh eggs and had a good experience. Thanks!

I love my egg cooker. It’s easier than boiling and much quicker. Plus the eggs are ALWAYS easy to peel. Normally I would lose most of the egg trying to peel it.
