Amazon Prime Members: BIG Savings on Protein Bars & More
I posted a reminder on these FREE Amazon sample boxes earlier here, but I’m doing another post because I wanted to share the pictures and email I received from Hip2Save reader, Robyn!
Here’s the email from Robyn:
I’m sure other readers have sent you pics of their sample boxes already, but I am so impressed I wanted to share! I received a sample box for protein bars for $9.99, snack bars for $4.99, and a Suds box for $7.99 (no longer available) – which included a FULL-SIZED Seventh Generation hand soap… Wow! 😄
With having an 11-month-old daughter and just moving into a fixer-upper house, I’ve put the time-consuming grocery store couponing on hold for now and I’ve started using Amazon to buy a lot of my pantry, cleaning, and health/beauty items… using Subscribe & Save deals from Hip2Save of course! Since I knew I’d be buying items from these categories regularly, I figured it was worth the risk of having the category-specific credit in my account! I can’t wait to get my snack food, men’s grooming, and sports nutrition boxes!
To quickly recap, Prime members can head on over to Amazon to score several different sample boxes containing 5-15 sample-size products, plus you’ll snag a FREE credit (basically the cost of what you spent on the sample box) to go towards a future purchase of like items. It appears the Protein Bar Sample Box is still available to order as well as a few other sample boxes – as listed here.

The Suds box looks like a real winner. I ordered it but it won’t be delivered till tomorrow so I can’t attest to the contents. However, I received an email today saying my $7.99 credit was available to use. I was in need of Lysol wipes. I used the 25% off coupon on the Lysol wipes through S&S plus another 5% off because of S&S then using the Suds credit I got them for free! (With some credit left over.) I am a HUGE Amazon fan and this is just another reason why!
wow, I also ordered suds box and beauty box but havn’t deliver yet. After seeing these pictures I’m very excited for mine.
I realized (after sending the email to Collin, of course) that the Finish tabs bag has 17 tabs in it! That’s a pretty hefty sample! I’m so glad I got that suds sample box! Thanks for all you do, Collin! 😊

The Suds box is very well worth it. The Finish has 17 gel pacs in the package and the Cascade has 8 pacs, so they make a full size when added together. The Gain scent booster is also almost full size (along with the Seventh Generation hand soap). I love the sample boxes so far!

I haven’t received any of my boxes yet, but my protein bar credit was available today! I got a box of lemon Quest bars for $8 through s&s!
I recd 3 different boxes. Was very pleased with them. I’m wondering though how I can use my credit. The fine print just states select items sold by Amazon. No specific item is ever mentioned.
In the email for the credit, gives a link to the specific items.
I received the suds box today and the hand soap leaked everywhere- the box was dripping from the corners before I even opened it. Amazon was awesome and refunded the purchase price. Otherwise the remaining contents were much better than expected. Hope they do more of these in the future!

Another comment to thank you for letting us know about these! I’ve ordered every one of the sample boxes and received…six of them yesterday? Ha ha! My UPS driver is staying busy, that’s for sure!
Every single sample box has been so generous, I’ve found the credits easy to redeem on the site, and I’ve really liked several of the samples!
The suds box blew me away — the size of the “samples” is incredibly generous, plus the products are all useful to me. The same has been true for the protein supplements, health bars, flavored syrups, energy drinks, etc.
