I LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing! I got it free with a mail in rebate from PetSmart, but totally would have paid full price. Refills are kinda pricey, but still totally worth it.
I found some refills on Amazon for cheap. They are not litter genuine brand but are half the cost and ship free with prime. I have been using them now for a few months and they work the same. I will see if I can post a link

I love mine, too! I don’t buy the refills. I do a McGyver type workaround that someone else on here suggested a while back. (Thank you so much to that poster!) I just use one of those 13 gallon odor stopper trash bags and some gorilla tape. You have to save one of the old refill dispensers and just fit the trash bag into and around it and tape it good on the underside of the dispenser and then put it in the genie and line it up properly with the notch side in front so the lid will fit down. Works great for me.
