Mine wouldnt take it either. And then they wouldnt take my $5 off 2 coupon either! Ugh!! I hate using coupons at walgreens. The manager would not adjust or override. I went to another walgreens and coupons worked perfect- i even found removers w/25% more. I also found womens hanes 3pk underwear on clearance for $0.89! And there were $1 coupons on the pack! Leggings on clearance for $1.49! Cute sandals on sale for $2.49!
I bought 4 removers and got back the $6. Bought softsoap, sandals, 3 posterboards, hair ties for $3!!!

i did the almay eye shadow deal (used both the 5$ of two and the 25% off coupon. i bought 2 eye shadows for 1.98$ plus got 3,000 back in points. and the beauty cashier had free samples of clean and clear deep action 60 second shower mask. so i picked uo 2 of those freebes as well.

I agree !!!! I hate using coupons at Walgreen… half it didn’t even accept my online clip on. I went in twice to get the right price and missing coupon. End of the day…it took 4 hrs at Walgreens check out. Yuck!!! Very sick of it.

I tried the deal last week with shampoos and it was a joke. Took 6 times to check out and still coupons didn’t work and then manager told me I was double dipping by using the register reward from the toothbrushes on items I have a coupon for (the herbal essences shampoo). I really wanted to go there and see if I could find any deals with the 25% off coupon today but I’m officially done with them. Everything is difficult there and I have plenty of other places that want my business. They are not worth it at all.
After long time I went there today. All I can say is their paperless coupon are bigger hassle than paper coupon. Nothing works. Wasted lot of time there.😕
Had the same hassle. I hated my experience at Walgreens. Felt it was more trouble to check out there with digital q’s instead of the paper ones.
I went in and tried using this with several other coupons. The manager had no idea what they were doing. Said the coupon I had didn’t work 25% off. What??? It was emailed to me today. Then she said oh we had problems with this and offered me the employee discount of 15%??? I just don’t understand why it has to be so hard. I went home and ordered everything online and it worked. I have no use for Walgreens stores !

I’m having issues at Walgreens, too. When I use printable coupons they make a big ta do of calling a manager to the front and looking up every coupon on line to make sure it’s a real coupon. Yes, maybe they have had issues with fraudulent coupons but seems they could train their cashiers to do this. It holds the line up and makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong. ugh… Also, I was told I couldn’t use the $5.00 off 2 Walgreens Almay coupon on two eye makeup removers but they let me use it on 1 eye make up remover and 1 lipstick?
I did the make up sale Saturday. The 25% came off of the sale item 🙁
I thought it was only my walgreens. The digital coupons are always a hassle. Inevitably the manager has to get involved and my stuff has to be rung up several times before it works. Half the time it doesn’t.
Apparently they are having a system wide problem with the 25% off. Hopefully they get it fixed by the end of the day! Was really hoping to use my 40,000 points, some qs and digital qs to get the best deals!

Hi sue, I have probably gotten and used about $200 in points this past 45 days! I love the updated program! I did get a bunch of clearance lotions and then did some muscle milks with q to get 1,000 points on each 2 purchased. Sometimes I have noticed it will give points when redeeming points and buy threshold items (like spend $30 get 10,000) even though it says it won’t.
I also got a lot of summer beverage containers for as low as 45 cents 🙂
