Still haven’t received my $10 bonus and I reloaded yesterday morning. How long is it taking everyone to get their bonus?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You should receive it within 5 days 🙂

getting the run around with VisaCheckout! Still haven’t received my promo giftcard. They are trying to tell me that I was supposed to use a NEW card within VisaCheckout. No where in the terms does it state that. Now onto the manager who is “going to bat” for me with the marketing team. IF – they determine there was an issue they MAY be able to help me out. This is nothing but pure BS! Marketing scan at it’s best!

I just now got my $10 ecard for loading $10 onto my card with Visa checkout. So it did work – yay!!!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks so much for the update! Glad you score the $10!

So, I bought a $10 reload not knowing if I was going to get the matching $10 because Visa Checkout wasn’t showing. I received the email today with my matching $10.

  5. Carol

I had the same reload issue, “We were unable to process your request. Please try again later” for days. Fortunately, I found a solution to this error by doing the following.

    1. Login to your Starbucks account online (https://www.starbucks.com/account/profile)
    2. Under ‘Settings’, click on the ‘Payment Methods’ section.
    3. In the ‘My Payment Method’ column, delete all your Credit Cards info.
    4. Using the Starbucks App on your smartphone, reload your card using the Visa Checkout as your payment method.

    I hope this helps.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the helpful feedback Carol! Good to know!

    • Lue

I tried that a couple of days ago, Carol. Still didn’t work. Thanks for the suggestion!

Dang it!! Not only did I accidentally select $25, I also forgot that I needed to pay on the mobile app. I was rereading the post to figure out what I did wrong. I do stupid mistakes ALL the time.

I did that last time i opened Starbucks Rewards on my home computer and just used my Visa card for 10 dollars and i did not receive a bonus either.
You have to use the Starbucks Reward App on your cell phone-Reload-Then where it says to pay you choose *VISA CHECKOUT(make sure you signed up with Visa Checkout first) this time we should get our reward.
This will be the first time i have used the Visa Checkout.I don’t think you can do it more then one time on this offer.I like to catch the bonus buys anytime i can.I don’t mind going to Starbucks when whatever i buy is 50% off.

They DO NOTLOAD THE BONUS ON YOUR ACCOUNT… Check your EMAILS!! It’s a e -Card with your $10 just click it and you can transfer it to the app…. ( or if you want you can print it and give it to whoever you want the value will show $10. With the number and pin.. )
I thought I did not get it either, then sure enough I checked my e mail and I had an e -card

    • dimegirl

Is the e-card from Starbucks or Visa Checkout?

  8. Lexi1720

Has any one tried doing it multiple times? The way it is stated it sounds like it could be done multiple times.

  9. Christina Vallejo

The Visa Checkout doesn’t show up on my Starbucks app…am I doing something wrong?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmm, have you seen Visa Checkout listed as an option in your app before? I am wondering if your app might need updated?

  10. Cassandra

How do you load $10 on to the app? I got as far as putting my card info on the visa check out onto the Starbucks app

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Cassandra! Here are the steps they list to help you navigate the deal: “Once you’ve signed into the app, click Pay in the upper left corner and then Reload on the bottom left corner of the Pay screen. For Android users, tap the menu in the top left corner, then Pay, Reload. From the reload screen, iOS users select “Paying With” . Android users select “Add a Payment Method”. On the Payment Methods screen, tap Add Card with Visa Checkout.” Hope this helps! 🙂

You’re very welcome Cassandra! Thanks for the sweet comment! Happy to hear you have been a long time reader 😉

  11. Cassandra

I hope I did it right. I had already added my debit card using visa payout. So when I went to reload the $10 onto my Starbucks membership, the Debit was already saved. So I didn’t click the visa check out as the payment method. Is this ok being that I already added my debit using visa payout????

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did you use Visa Checkout at your payment method? You have to pay that way in order to receive the $10. Hope this helps!

      • Cassandra

I didn’t click it. What I did first was go to the payment option to add my debit card using visa check out. Then once I did that then I proceeded to reload the $10, and my debit card auto matically defaulted as the payment. Does that make sense? Do you think it will count doing it that method as well?

  12. Doris

I loaded my card and still have not received my $10 egift its been over about a week. I’m really upset about this.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear it has not shown up yet Doris. 🙁 Hopefully you will get it soon! Were you able to use Visa Checkout as your payment method when loading $10 in app?

      • Doris

        Yes I did

  13. Cassandra

I just got my $10 ecard in my email today!!! So excited!!!!!!

  14. Doris

I called Starbucks and they looked up when I reloaded the card and saw and put the $10 on my card
