Thanks was going today to pick up some stuff. my kids love the duplo sets so I can stick up for xmas.

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

      Awesome, you’re so welcome! 🙂

  2. Linda

Well looking online so some sets are about $8 cheaper than what brickseek is saying my store has it for, does anyone know if target price matches there online site then combine that with cartwheel? Thanks for the help

    • Jen

I wish!!! They’ll usually just accept the price match if it’s from a legitimate site and forgo the cartwheel savings!

      • Linda

Wishful thinking. So frustrating how target. com is cheaper than my store. The Duplo sets are showing $8 cheaper on target.com

    • Kat

they will pricematch, but you cant use the cartwheel after. at least that’s how our Target does it

    • Kylee

I guess it might depend on the store. I was able to price match and use the cartwheel in our store (Chicagoland area). Three mighty micros for $20.51! I’ll call that a win!

  3. Bebe

I find that sometimes on target.com the items eligible for cartwheel are usually also discounted to match the deal you would get in store. Therefore, matching it at customer service and getting to use your cartwheel is essentially getting the discount twice. I’ve observed this several times with different promotions as sometimes I’m unable to get to the store but I can order items online and am happy that I’m getting the same deal as if I was at the store and using cartwheel.

    • Michelle

      Great point!

    • Bebe

Just wanted to quickly add that it varies between items as I know that not every item will be discounted equally between store and online.

  4. tHaupt

hoow do i use the cartwheel online??

    • Cbeths

You can’t use this one online.

  5. Winnie

Target.com is already 20% cheaper than my target store even before this cartwheel appears. I knew that because I was looking for duplo sets recently. And target doesn’t stack cartwheel on pricematched items. So I save my trip to target and ordered from amazon.

  6. Lauren

Bummed. The superhero Lego sets are $9.99 at my store. Where is the $7.99 price from?

  7. Cas

If you price match and still scan your cartwheel to earn points, they can’t deny you that…so if you add the 20% cartwheel coupon…you still may able to use and pricematch. It also depends on the worker, I find.

    • Katrina

To earn points? I don’t think you earn points with cartwheel. And any time I’ve price matched, they check my cartwheel list to ensure I’m not getting a double discount by having a qualifying item in the app.

      • Cas

Yes, with cartwheel you earn points for every dollar earned no matter if you have a coupon to use on cartwheel or not. For every 5000 points (you earn 10 points for every dollar spent) you can redeem a perk. The perks are all over the board. current options for me are: a bag of candy, a smith and hawken decor item (up to $40 value) a free Halloween costume a free Halloween decor…the list goes on…

If you aren’t currently earning points you probably need to update cartwheel!

        • Naomi

I’m guessing you are one of the lucky people from the region where target is testing on new system. It was a while ago, but I remember seeing some rewards program to sign up but most of the states/regions were excluded.

        • Katie

I use cartwheel constantly and have never heard of this!

          • Cas

Ask your store! I figured it was nationwide but maybe it isn’t. I’ve yet to redeem my reward but the options are pretty awesome.

  8. Lucy

Gracias!!! I love duplo for my toddler nieces & now my 2 1/2 year old.

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Awesome! You are so welcome Lucy!

  9. Lin

To save me a trip, does anyone know if this is working on the City advent calendar? I’m thinking my 5 year old would love it.

    • AE

Doesn’t look like it works….if you go on target app it will show you which sets are on cartwheel savings.

  10. Jena

Would this work on the advent calendar sets??

    • Naomi

Usually, if you go to target.com and search for the items you want, it will say “cartwheel” if any of the cartwheel discount will apply. I’d then scan the bar code of the item in store to add to cartwheel as target sometimes makes mistake on item code. I just checked and none of the lego advent calendar set works with cartwheel.

  11. Cristy

I was able to pricematch the target.com price of 34.99 for the minecraft lego crafting box 21116 and used the 20% off minecraft lego cartwheel discount. I was able to pay 27.99 plus tax. I did a little happy dance since the instore price was 49.99.

  12. Lori

I checked some Minecraft sets both online and in store. For the sets I was interested in, the price online actually reflected a 30% discount off the in-store price. If I had bought the sets in store with cartwheel, savings would have been only 20%. I picked up a set online that was 69.99 at my local Target. Got it for 48.99 on Target.com! Thanks for heads-up!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Lori!

  13. DSK

Apparently the $25 off $100 purchase works on LEGO!!! Went in this morning to score some toys for my little ones, saw your post about 20% off Lego sets so I grabbed one for $19.99. Checked out without a problem. In the car going over receipt I had to do a double take because I TOTALLY FORGOT that the coupon explicitly says “excluding lego”. Total fluke I’m sure but thought I’d put this out there in case someone else wants to try.

    • Em

Dsk, did you buy only Legos in your you purchase?
