I’m new to Fandango and have wanted to try it. Do I have to know the time and day I want to see the movie? What is the service/convenience fee? Then, do I print my tickets or show the ticket on my phone. TIA!!!
Yes, you have to know the time and date if you want to take advantage of the B2G1 deal. You can print your tickets or you have the option to have them texted to you (they text you a link to the tickets). I forget the total for the convenience fee but it was $4 and change.
If you are an AMC Stubs premiere member, Fandango waives the service charge. If you go to AMC and/or use Fandango more than a few times a year, the Stubs account pays for itself.

Now just be sure to eat before you go to the movie theater lol. I took advantage of this deal last weekend and paid $20 for 3 tickets which I thought was a good deal but then spent over $30 at the concession stand 🙁 a large fountain drink was $4.30!! A bottle of vitamin water was the same price 🙁 I hadn’t been to the movies in years so I forgot about the high prices
I accidentally purchased tix with the wrong day (Fri, instead of a Sat). I chatted with the Cust Rep and he said he cannot be able to make any changes once the order has been completed (and using the coupon). So, double and even triple check the date you picked. Lesson learned.
Fandango won’t but the theater will. Just call and ask to speak to mgr. they will honor tickets for same price value different day or you can pay the difference for a more expensive night. I do it all the time when we change our minds on movie night.

this promo was available last weekend also, hubby and i had date night last saturday and saw Arrival at the AMC theater. since we are amc stub member and used the visa checkout offer we saw the movie for less than 11 bucks!
