I noticed there’s a “reward code” option on Ibotta. What is that? And how to you get reward codes to enter?
They put out codes once in a blue moon on their FB page, maybe Twitter. Last code unlocked several “any brand” offers.

I have the offer. I’ve only used ibotta twice ever so maybe it’s for people who aren’t very active. I always forget and mostly use walmart pay now, which doesn’t give a receipt. But it’s just so convenient!

You can get a receipt on walmart pay, can email the receipt to yourself by taking a screenshot of it on your phone than opening it on laptop and taking picture of it to redemp for rebates.
I faithfully use Ibotta for the 25¢ ‘any’ rebates, but no other rebates (takes forever to cash out that way, ha). I have both the $5 bonuses.

Last time Ibotta had an offer like this that seemed too good to be true, it was. They changed it from 1 rebate to 10 after I submitted my 1 rebate.
Yes same here. They did a holiday grocery bonus that was $10 for 4 rebates After I submitted it, they said oops that was a glitch. You really needed 35 – lol. Comical They sent out a $1 sorry bonus. It was all over their fb page that this “glitch” affected so many users. IMO they should have made it right by giving the bonus they promised.
Can’t stand ibotta such a scams and draining battery on phone and constantly freeze I HAVE several retailers app on my phone this is the worse one I uninstalled twice already but they email to me offer and when I install again they said its ONLY for new users 🙁

You get teammates by having them use your referral code. Your teammate that you see is probably whose link you used to sign up.

You have to turn on teammates. From home screen tap on 3 lines upper left. Then on gear upper right. Then tap preferences. Scroll down to teammates and turn on.

That’s all I did. I only had the one $5 rebate but I just bought one item, uploaded receipt and got the $5 rebate automatically (took awhile to show up) and then also got the $0.25 for the specific item I purchased

I’ve only been using Ibotta on and off for about a month. I got mine to $20 then cashed it in. You get $10 free for signing up. It works at multiple stores. I tend to use it at Meijer and Wal-Mart. It doesn’t matter if you also use coupons in your transaction. It’s easier if you see what rebates are available before you go grocery shopping. It’s easy to forget and some are for a limited time. Here’s my opinion of iBotta, if anyone cares. It’s a little bit challenging to get used to, but there is really good $ to be made. I have accumulated $143 since September. Sometimes a refund may only be .25 however if I saw a quarter on the ground, I’d bend to pick it up so I can definitely scan a bar code and receipt. Read the specifications carefully. Once or twice I got caught buying only 1 item when 2 was needed. Watch your bonuses carefully. Those can really add up if you plan. I made $17 in bonuses in December. Take the time to see if you can stack coupons.
Instead of being a slave to Insta or FB and making yourself depressed over your friends showy display of their lives, scroll though ibotta often instead and stay up to date with the offers and bonuses. And make sure you share your link with friends. You’re going to be excited about your rebates. Hook turn up too!
