I like the selection of products in Birchbox. The biggest thing for me is the stellar customer service. Any time I’ve had an issue, they respond and take care of it and then some.
I think this is an awesome deal! I love my Birchbox! Since it’s kind of hard to know what to expect if you haven’t been a subscriber before, here’s what was in my free (gorgeous rifle paper design) box:
1 oz Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair! deep conditioning mask, 0.5 oz Aquareveal Satin Bright Soft Water Peel, Au Naturale cosmetics mini face palette, Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm-Hibiscus (LOVE!), and Tocca Florence fragrance vial. The regular monthly box that I paid the $10 for was completely different, and I was very happy with it as well. I agree, I got the 2 box set awhile ago and was disappointed. Plus, I was charged 2 more months because I forgot to cancel.

I went through ebates. Despite the ebates site saying “up to $5 cash back,” I got nothing for my purchase.
I got back $3 and some change from ebates, not the $5 it states. But $7 for two boxes isn’t bad.
I spoke up too soon. $5 cash back was just added to my account.
I’m a Birchbox fan. I get the monthly boxes and I like the Limited Edition boxes they sell. I use to get Boxycharm and Beautyfix put have stopped those because so much of what they sent I didn’t use or want to try. I ended up giving and donating it away. At less than $10 a month birchbox works for me.
