Need some crafty Valentine’s Day Box ideas? 💘📭

My kids always get excited to make their own boxes to keep classroom valentines in, and here are two options we put together to use this year. Grab some craft supplies and an empty shoebox, cereal box, or tissue box and get creating!

1.) Monster Valentine’s Day Box

For this Craft, You’ll Need:
  • Wrap empty tissue box using duct tape.
  • Cut “teeth” strips using white craft foam and glue them to the top and bottom inside of the box opening.
  • Glue on two egg carton pieces for “eyes” on top of the box.
  • Glue googly eyes in middle.
  • Glue toilet paper roll “legs” on the bottom of box along with “feet” shaped craft foam or paper.
  • Glue pipe cleaner “antennas” and craft poms to the top of box or eyes.
  • Add any other stickers or embellishments, as desired.

2.) 😍 Emoji Valentine’s Day Box

For This Craft, You’ll Need:
  • Cover box with paper if desired.
  • Trace and cut out emoji shapes using scissors. (Feel free to use my templates or make your own.)
  • Glue face details together.
  • Glue completed emojis to box in any arrangement desired.
  • Add any other stickers or embellishments desired.

Note: I actually used my new Cricut Explore Air Cutting Machine (THAT I LOVE!) to cut out fun Emoji shapes using craft foam. If you have a cutting machine, click here for the free SVG. files I used for this project.

These options are both super cute and easy to make! Don’t you love creating things like this with the kids!? So FUN.

Feel free to improvise from these ideas and use supplies you may already have on hand. Such a great way to re-purpose empty boxes! kids-valentines-day-box-crafts

What is the HIP List?

Have you ever had moments when you're either out of time or out of printer ink, or both, and you really want to keep track of a "Hip" deal or print a valuable coupon in the next day or two? Or what do you do when an outstanding, but pricey, deal is posted and you want to save it for discussion with your significant other? Well, now you're in luck! No more searching through pages of posts to find the coupon or the deal. Simply add the post to your HIP List and access it at your convenience.

How Does the HIP List Work?

It's easy! To use this feature, you first must head on over here and register and log into your account. Whenever you find a great deal that you want to come back later to, just click on the HIP List icon located on each post (see images below) and the information will be saved in your account.

When logged into your account, you will then see your HIP List on every page.

If you're wanting to print a certain deal, article, or the Weekly Store Matchups from your HIP list, click on the small blue printer icon in the upper right corner of the HIP list. That will allow you to customize the information that you want or don't want to include in your HIP list so you're only printing the information that's most important to you!

If there are deals that you are not interested in keeping on your list, just click on the minus button to remove it.

Now, just print your customized HIP list whenever you're ready to go shopping and snag some "Hip" deals!
