I’m I the only one who doesn’t like the LEDs? I feel scared if they break and I feel like the light is not as good as the old light bulbs…believe me I have tried ALL the different types of lights , cool blue, bright, etc. I just like the old bulbs better but the only place where I can find them is the dollar tree. I know it’s better for the environment but I just don’t like the color/light that they have. 🙄

The LEDs should be better, than the old CFLs( which had mercury) The LEDs use significantly less energy, are brighter, and have a longer life than the CFLs. I did not like using the CFLs for the looks, they did not last as long as they were supposed to, and they contained mercury. The LEDs will be energy efficient, we have been slowing replacing ours in the different wattages throughout the house.

I’m not a big fan either Jackie. I will use them but they are not my favorite bulbs. The only LEDs I refuse to use are the Christmas lights…I just think they aren’t as pretty as the traditional Christmas ones and the color on them is odd, just my opinion though.

I like the LED lights because I’ve saved $10 a month on my electric bill since we’ve replaced all of our bulbs. I use the higher watt ones for reading lights. I don’t like the aft white. Our electric company actually had a giveaway of leds to encourage savings.
