      YAY!!

  4. Rosie

I hope they do the twin over the full size again too

    • Mom Of 5

They have it available on the twin over full but not for the amazing price it was last time. If you search bunk bed twin over full with bonus you will the options available. Unfortunately I don’t think you can do a twin and a full mattress you have to do either 2 twins or 2 full mattresses.

  5. Kadi

We got this the last time you posted this deal! Our kids LOVE it! Thanks so much!!!

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

      AWESOME to hear, thanks Kadi!

  6. Jean

I would love to get one for my kids but I’m super nervous about falls.. ๐Ÿ™ What’s a good safe age to be on the top bunk?

    • Cristen

      ^Same question! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Dawn

We got this last time it was posted. I think it said 6 & above for the top bunk. My 3 year old can already do the ladder and get up there but I told her no sleeping in the top bunk at night yet. She likes to roam the house in the middle of the night so it’s definitely no top bunk for a few more years!!!

    • shel

My husband just built bunk beds for our boys. My oldest will be 7 yrs and has the top bunk. my 4.5 year old sometimes naps up there…i feel comfortable with my 4 year old. we do have night light close in case he needs to get up during night.

    • Nicole

We are going to get it for our twins who are 4. The nice thing about this bed is that you can make it two separate beds if you want and not a bunk bed. I think we might do that until they are a bit older.

    • Melissa

It depends, my oldest had no problems and she started sleeping on the top bunk at 4.5. My youngest could not be trusted up there at 5, it lasted about a week and she kept jumping off so I had to forbid her from even going up there to sit, let alone sleep.

  7. Suzy Bell

I got it this time. Thanks! As a foster parent, we could use the extra bed!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re very welcome! Happy you could grab the deal!

  8. Michelle L Merriman

Does anyone know if we would have to use a wonder board underneath the mattress? The mattress seems so thin!

    • Katrina

I spent know about these mattresses in particular, but we just used a large piece of cardboard under our bunk bed mattresses. Plywood on the bottom full, cardboard on the top twin. Works great.

  9. Wj

Remember If anyone does not need that twin over full let me know

  10. Danielle

I ought this bunk bed a year ago without the mattresses. It is NOT very sturdy. It is fine when my 7 yr old is in the bottom. My 11yr old slept on top once and it was extremely wobbly – I won’t let her sleep on the top again(she weighs about 80 lbs). It is still wobbly with my 7 yr old on top (she weighs 46lbs). It has held up so far but I don’t feel confident in it’s Long term stability. You get what you pay for. I would not buy again simply due to cheap construction and worries about it toppling.

    • mel

This was my main concern. I wondered how it would hold up with older kids. I will keep looking for something more durable! We have one set of bunk beds from when I was a kid, solid wood, and it’s still going strong after 20+ years.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for your honest review Danielle. Sorry to hear it has been wobbly.

I ordered at have these bunk beds up. I am very happy with the quality of the wood and the mattresses, both are much better than I thought they would be especially at this price. Would definitely order these again. I did find them a little tricky to build. โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for your feedback! Good to know they can be tricky to put together.

  12. Melissa

I got this in gray and hubs set it up a few days ago. It’s a great set for the money! The boys like it better than their metal bunk bed, they feel it’s more secure. My hubs likes it because it’s real wood, not pressboard. Thank you Hip2Save!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Melissa!

  13. Amanda

I’m trying to order this now and it says there is an error adding it to my cart. So sad as this would have been perfect transition for my kids.

    • Amanda

You cannot order different color mattresses, it will create and error. It either has to be blue, blue mattress, or pink, pink mattress.

      • steph

Thanks! I was having the same problem, i almost gave up on trying to order them. Glad i checked the comments on here!

  14. Karen

My question is the quality of the mattress? If anyone has this bed could they tell me if you could fit a 7 inch IKEA Trundle under?

  15. Angie

Do these separate? I need them if they do Anyone?

    • Michelle

Yes, they can be used separately.

  16. Erica

I ordered this the first time they did it and they sent the bed and 2 full size mattresses. When you order the bundle, it doesn’t give you the option to choose the mattress size, so they send you whatever they want. This is what they told me when I called customer service, even though it makes sense to send twin size mattresses for twin size beds. She told me that I could swap the mattresses out for twins in the store, but my store is out of stock. So I either have to wait until more mattresses come in (they don’t know when) or return the entire bundle (including the bed).

    • Alaina

For me there was actually was a size option the last time but it was hard to get to. I didn’t see it when I ordered and assumed they just were twin size. Noticed on my notification email it said full size. Called and they walked me through where the size option was. Twin was out of stock so it defaulted to full. I ended up canceling after three calls and getting different answers.

  17. Amy

I ordered these the first time around and returned it. The mattresses are like sofa couch mattresses. They have LOTS of chemicals in them and it would only work for very small kiddos in my opinion.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear you did not care for the mattresses! Thanks for the honest feedback!

  18. Jen

I got this the first time around as well๐Ÿ™‚ We received one mattress first, then 2 days later the bunks beds with the second mattress came. The mattress’ come rolled up. They seemed pretty firm, but my son didn’t mind it. The slats didn’t seem too durable for me so my husband went to Home Depot to get plywood for the bottoms of each bed. It felt more secure. It was slightly difficult at times while we were assembling it, but over-all they seem like pretty nice bunk beds. I’d say def more for the kiddos, like 12 and under. I can’t sit up straight when I’m on the bottom bunk! I’ll hit my head๐Ÿ˜„ and I’m 5’4. I weigh 145 and I’ve gone on the top. Seems to hold me well, but it’s kind of difficult getting up and down on that small ladder lol. If you want them for adults/teens, I’d separate them.

  19. Lorraine

I’m getting an error message no matter what mattress colors I pick, is this deal over?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmm, I am still finding it available as listed above. Are you using a mobile device? If not, be sure to check again in a different browser. Hope this helps!

    • Amanda

If you are trying to order two different color mattresses it will create an error. Either blue, blue or pink pink, hope that helps.
