Love Starbucks AND saving money? We do too!

Head over to Groupon.com where you can claim an offer valid for 20% cash back on your in-store Starbucks purchases for one week and there is no cost to claim this offer!

Yes, you do need to link an eligible credit card to get cash back!

To claim this offer, head here, click on “Claim Offer“, add your Visa or Mastercard credit card information, and then use that same credit card to pay for your purchases at Starbucks. The 20% cash back will then be awarded in the form of statement credits on your credit card account. Once you claim the offer, it will be valid for seven days with a limit of $1 cash back per transaction and one transaction per day.

Note that you may use your debit card for this offer; however, you must run your debit card as credit to be eligible for the cash back offer.

I would rather get the stars on my Starbucks card towards free drinks!

  2. Leslie

I activated this offer yesterday and reloaded my Starbucks card on the app with the credit card and I received the cash back. I loaded $20 and got $1 back (since that is the max per transaction). Great deal. Cash back and stars 👍🏼

Glad you could snag the offer Leslie!

to get the most back load your starbucks card with $5 each day for the max of $1 back

    • SAM

The minimum is $10 to load on your card.

    • Tiffany Taljonick

No, it’s $1 per transaction and 1 transaction per day, so if you load $20 per day, you will earn $1 back every day.

      • Tiffany Taljonick

I misread your comment. It is still a max of $1 per load and $1 max per day, no matter what you load.

So you could, in theory, load $5 on to your Starbucks card (from your credit card) every day until the offer ends, which would – if my math is right – give you the max credit of $1 PLUS Stars when you spend your balance/credit(?)

    • Stefanie

Yes, that would be correct. The lowest reload option in the Starbucks app is $10, though.

      • Lily

The Starbucks stores will let you do a $5 reload though. If your willing to drive daily to Starbucks for this deal, then it works for you.

        • MontanaMom

          Thanks!

Do you ask the barista to manually load it to your card? How do u do that in store?

  5. Sarah

Bank Amerideals has 5% cash back right now too.

  6. cheezeheadtn

So how do you know if your debit card you have on your app will run as a credit? It could be ran as both, but not sure how they run it.

  7. Sarah

I just used visacheckout with the register card number and reloaded my card….and I got the dollar credit on groupon

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates. I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
