BE CAREFUL!!!! This deal is probably fine but they have treated my son and his fiance HORRIBLE! Once you give them your money forget it, they don’t care. They hire tacky people that are so unethical. He even bought the warranty and went in because the stones keep falling out of her ring, they told him it’s because of the design of the ring. We have 2 Kays in our town that he went to, one lost paperwork and tried to charge her for the stones falling out of the ring (that she’d only had for a month before this happened, 3 times the first year) that he bought the extra warranty for, the other one in our town was the first one he went to and they were so pushy and didn’t care if he got what was right, they just wanted to sell something. My son went back to pick up the ring after having it engraved and the guy “helping” him was using profanity and talking to his coworkers about video games. Since then he has bought her jewelry at Costco online and has been very happy with it. I also think he was happy that he would see a price and that was it, Kays has fees that you don’t know about until it’s time to pay. Just be careful if you’re planning on a big purchase because their bottom line is money.

We have always had good experiences with Kay Jewelers. My husband bought me several pieces about 20 years ago before we were even married. (These were not very high priced, about $100 each.) He bought the warranty on them and I’ve gotten them cleaned and inspected pretty regularly since then at many different Kay’s locations (Michigan, Philadelphia, Connecticut). A few years ago, during an inspection, an employee found that a stone was loose from one necklace. She looked it up in their system, found the warranty info and sent it out to be fixed for free. Remember, this was at least 15 years after the original purchase. I don’t wear a lot of nice jewelry (being a stay-at-home mom of boys), but I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

These rings were 300 each, after they added on the warranty but just a couple weeks ago when the 3rd stone fell out she didn’t have the paperwork for it with her and they said she had to pay $49 to fix the stone that keeps falling out! You might have better stores in your area, but ours here in Oregon I would steer clear. Also, maybe they are going downhill? Costco really does have very nice jewelry, it;s expensive but definitely worth the extra and you can return it if it’s not right.

I ordered the sapphire ring and I wanted to love it, but the stone looks so gaudy and fake.

Did I miss something? I’ve been trying to order these because your post says through Nov 7th but I keep putting the code in and it does nothing and I see your post says expired? So it’s not through the 7th or am I doing something wrong?
