I rrally want one for my 12 years old daughter, any recommendations on which one can be good for her?

    • Sita

I have an explorer 2. I hear the only difference is the speed. This is best to start with. Good price in my opinion.

Code does not work on machine

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hmm, HIP2SAVE10 still works for me as listed above. Are you able to try a different browser?

    • lauren brumfield

I just used the code and it worked!

  3. Sabine

Merry Christmas to me. My husband didn’t know what to get me. I had been looking at these!!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Perfect! πŸ˜‰

  4. Scarlet B

Yes, yes, I do want to get started with a Cricut.

    • Amanda

Nope, it’s all online now. If you have cartridges from the old machines, you can link them and then get rid of them. You can download the Cricut Design Space software and play with it and see what options are available before you ever purchase a machine.

  5. Haunnah

Do you have to have cartridges to use this?

  6. AOhio

I feel like for these to be worth it, you have to be fully into it, like everything will be made by a Cricut!

Can someone give me examples of some fun, easy craft ideas one who isn’t particularly crafty (but would like to be) might use this for? I am thinking my 14 year old may enjoy this. Also, is the extra money for the faster model worth it, since that’s the only difference between 2 of the models — how much slower is the slower one?

  8. Shardea

Thank you was able to save $24 on my order πŸ™‚

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Awesome! You’re welcome Shardea!

  9. lisa

    When does this sale end?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Lisa! We are unsure of how long these sale prices will be this low!

  10. A

2% cashback on Ebates! Saves a few more dollars since this is a pricey order. πŸ™‚

So my issue with these machines is how do you get the cutouts on the shirt/mug, etc? I realized this only does the cutting. Do you all own a heat press as well? Would appreciate some feedback

    • Brie

Permanent vinyl for the mug and heat transfer vinyl for the shirts (with an iron is fine) Hope that helps!

      • Shopping_Life

        Thank you!

  12. Jen

I can’t get the coupon to work. Any advice?

  13. Brenda

Where is the best place to buy vinyl, transfer tape, etc? Thank you for your help!!

  14. Lollilawa

How much does design space cost? Can you use it without that?

  15. Suszy

I want one of these so bad – I need to figure out how to convince my husband that I will actually use itπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚πŸ˜

  16. Patti

What is the difference between the Explorer 1 and the Explorer Air 2?

    • Yana

The speed. The air 2 is faster.

Any recommendations where to get cricut supplies cheaper? TIA

      • Elizabeth

I get mine from 651vinyl.com. I haven’t tried the cricut brand, but Oracle brand has been really easy for me to work with. I bought the explore air a bit after black Friday and I love it! I’ve made 3 shadow boxes so far, but have a bunch of other projects planned.
