If you need a heavy-duty knife bar then this is the perfect one. It comes with a 3M adhesive strip and also screws so you have everything you need. For extra safety, since I have younger children, I decided to screw the knife bar into my backsplash. I did use just the adhesive strip at first and it held my knives with no problems. We were unsure as to whether this would stick to our rough Carrara marble backsplash. Wow, we have been surprised as to how well it has not moved one iota. It not only sticks well to the backsplash, but the magnet is large and strong enough to hold all 10 knives plus a pair of scissors!! We love it and are glad we took the chance to purchase it! I would definitely recommend this!

We are living in an RV for a year and this knife strip has been excellent! It is not so heavy that it will damage the fragile walls of an RV. We waited 24 hours after adhesion before placing knives on it, and have had no problems with it not being able to hold. It fit seven knives, a set of kitchen scissors, and a pizza cutter (we have a child, so yes, the pizza cutter too).

Never thought this would actually stick to the wall. I have a little kitchen in my basement…this stuck right to the concrete wall with no problem.
