Maybe you can answer a question for me–
I always thought that a store coupon and mfg coupon couldnt be used together. Or, is it up to the each individual store to allow such double use.
Also, yesterday I went to my local military commissary and tried to purchase certain items with coupons printed from here. I was told that since there were no pin number or 3 bar codes they could not be used. I was wondering if anyone else has come across the same situation. Thank you

    Hi Beverly,

It depends on the store. Although, most stores will take a manuf. coupon and a store coupon on the same item.

Target’s coupon policy states (google Target coupon policy and it will come up) that they WILL take a manuf. coupon and a store coupon on the same item. I always bring their policy with me just in case I have any problems.

I too go to the commissary. I actually live on Camp Lejeune. Anyway their policy is that you can either use a manuf. coupon or a military coupon on one item (NOT both). The military coupons are manuf. coupons, so that is why.

I’ve never had problems with my local commissary not accept Internet Printed coupons. Let me know what coupons they wouldn’t accept, then I’ll have a better understanding of why they may not have.

I can not get the toaster strudel to print for the life of me – this is the message i get – is this a dead deal?

There are no prints available for this campaign.

    Mary,

Sorry, it looks like there are no more prints left. I’ll go ahead and delete the coupon. Thanks for letting me know.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

the Target where I live is really crappy about taking coupons and they don’t allow overage, they adjust the coupon down. I emailed them and asked if they turn the coupon into the manufacturer for the full amount and they didn’t answer me. You would think they would all be the same, but I guess not.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have a Target coupon (Kotex product) that expired on 2/28/09 will they still take it a few days after the expiration?

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m pretty sure they’ll say no… but you never know. You may get lucky with a nice cashier or manager.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

can you tell me about the corporate policy. I just tried to use the bogo and the man. coupon with the walgreens and the manager would not accept it even though I said that they would be getting the money back and that I have never had a prob before. He refused to take it and then stormed off. I called corporate but it went to a voicemail. Is this in their policy or is it kind of hit or miss?

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Maggie,

Are you talking about Walgreens or Targets coupon policy? If you’re talking about Targets, then just email them and they will send you a copy.

I always have their policy on hand in case I encounter any problems.

THANK YOU FOR THIS BLOG!!!! This has been awesome! You are amazing for putting this together.
I have one question-I cannot seem to find the Lysol 3/$5 in the Target Ad. Target is far away from me, but since Wal-Mart price matches, I was going to go that route, but I couldn’t find it anywhere! Any clue?

    Thanks
    Karen

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

On page 17 of the ad Lysol products are pictured and it says $2.25 each. In small print under that, though, it says select Lysol sprays and toilet bowl cleaners priced at 3/$5. Hope that helps!:)

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried the $3/3 J&J Q for the Buddies but the manager wouldn’t let me and when I asked to speak to another mgr she was very rude- you’d think the money was coming out of her own pocket!!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Well I e-mailed Target about my bad experience w/the rude manager who refused to take my coupons for the Buddies. I got an e-mail back saying they were sorry and that they have contacted the store regarding the incident. They also e-mailed me their coupon policy saying that they would adjust the coupon price when this happens. So, I’m going back with new coupons(I already took those to Walmart who gladly accepted them) and this time I will bring the policy with me.

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

YAY! I’m so glad you were able to email Target and get their coupon policy back. I LOVE how empowering that feels, especially to know you were in the right!
