It’s Thursday and you know what that means, a new post about making money! If you missed my previous posts, then check them out here, here and here. I discuss in detail how to get paid to complete offers, as well as how to get cash back for online purchases and snag FREE gift cards from companies!

Today I’m going to go over how to make money from rebates! Rebates are a fun and easy way to earn rewards and get cash back. Basically all you have to do is save UPC codes, as well as, receipts and mail them in to the manufacturer on the form they provide. In return you will get cash back or some other reward for purchasing their products.

Types of rebates available:

Beer Forms
These will be found on Beer displays in grocery stores. A lot of people don’t realize that some of these forms don’t even require you to purchase alcohol.

Wine tags
These are similar to the beer forms and also, sometimes, do not require an alcohol purchase.

Free after Rebate & other cash back forms
These are standard rebates that you can find on forms around the store, in Sunday coupon inserts and also online. Some are free after rebate and others will give you cash back on a certain amount you purchase.

Free gifts and rewards for buying products
For instance, Kellogg’s has numerous different fun toys you can snag just buy saving the symbols on specially marked packages. There are also other companies that offer incentives and other Reward type programs for buying their products.

The key to being successful with rebates is to stay organized. I have a binder with pocket dividers for each month. I also have zipper pouches and sleeves in each section to put my rebate forms in. I put the rebates in order by the expiration date, so if I have a rebate expiring in May it would be in that section in my binder. I also have a section in the front where I put all my “Can’t Pass up” rebates. This makes it easy to see what rebates are going to expire soon and also helps me prioritize which ones are the most important.

Here is a rebate list to get you started:
(If the forms are available online, then I would highly suggest printing them right away. That way you can file them in your binder and they won’t be forgotten)

Do you have to live in the state to get the rebate or can I purchase it in KY and receive the rebate in IN?

I’m pretty sure you can purchase the products anywhere, just make sure to write on the rebate form the correct address for where you want the money sent.
