   I am done signing up for these “free” subscriptions. I have gotten bills for the majority of the ones I sign up for through your blog, as well as other blogs.

   if I already get parents magazine, do you think they will just tack on 2 years to my subscription? or will I get two copies?

   I’ve never received a bill as of yet through any websites were you get free magazines. I do receive notices in the mail to “renew” a subscription but with none of my financial information, they can’t charge me without me giving it. If they send a bill when it was supposed to be free, then either return it and say “No thanks” or just ignore it and trash it.

   I have to say I have done every free magazine offer posted and have never gotten a bill. After a few issues I get a mailing asking me to renew my subscription for a special price or whatever…but that is not a bill. That is only if you want to keep your subscription going after the two years… I have gotten so many magazines and it saves me so much money because I normally buy these off the shelf. Don’t let the other comment scare you… I have never gotten a bill. Hip2Save you are awesome.

   value mags is a great site and i never get any bills. im just worried about mercury mags because i have never tried them before.

   The ones to watch out for are when you use your credit card to make a purchase at an online store and they offer you a “free” subscription with purchase.

   They forward the CC to the magazine company and you get charged and it’s a hassle to cancel.

   I noticed this said that the subscription was paid for by the BedBathStore? Was this offer for customers of that store? or for anyone?

    nicole- I have used mercury magazines many times and have never had any problems with them either.

    click on the link (the font is a different color). The link says, “FREE 2 year subscription to Parents Magazine courtesy of ValueMags!” If you click on that, it will take you to the website where you can sign up for 2 free years. Hope that helps!
