Just got home from Target (Champaign, IL). I bought 10 glade candles @ 2.50 each, plus used 5 $1.50/2 MQs. Paid $18.00, but got back 2 $5 gift cards. Then I went to customer service to do the price check for the movies. After using the 2 MQs, SQ, and 2 gift cars, I paid $2.67! (The Up br dvd rang up for 19.99 for some reason) So for $20 I got 10 candles and 2 blue-ray dvds! (that also include reg. dvd and digital!) PLUS I’m getting ready to fill out the 2 rebate forms!!!

I’ve read through some of these forums and I know you get some negative feedback and I’m sorry for that. UP was $19.99 and they did the Best Buy price adjustment for Monsters, Inc. I used all three coupons and paid $10.98 before tax!

I tried to do this deal this morning and they said that if you price match then you can not use a target coupon on the deal to. You have to choose between the price match or target coupon not both.
Didn’t see where anyone posted a Wal-Mart price. Their shelf has the blu-ray combo pack marked as29.96, but they ring up at 19.96.
ahhh so dissapointed. FOr all of you that got the movie deal, lucky you. I just came back from Target, and they had LOTS of copies of the UP movie, but all sold out of Monsters Inc. All gone, I was so dissapointed, and coupon “hihg”. He checked at two other locations of Target, and same thing, all sold out of Monsters Inc. Im guessing they didnt have many copies, and the guy who helped me, said he had no idea when more copies were coming in. I guess I will have to go in everyday and look for it before my coupons expire.

i just went to target and got the up and monster inc that you previously posted and the up rang $19.99. I ended up paying $19.96 for both. Do you think I can go back with my reciept and the up coupon to get $10 back making it a $9.96 deal?
UNBELIEVABLE. I just went on an embarrassing voyage to THREE Targets and was told at each one that they can’t price match the Monster’s movie because it’s a bundle deal.
SO FRUSTRATING, because there are obviously people all over the place who are getting this deal and I’m not allowed to.

My store makes you pay tax on the ENTIRE purchase rather than the total after coupons. So my tax was $6.47.

there is a similar deal available at Best Buy. When you buy up blu-ray plus monsters inc. you get $10 off (the allowed me to use both my IP’s in addition). You end up paying about $4 more because the price of Monsters inc is a little higher than targets price, but since my target was out of monsters inc., it was worth it to me. HTH

just went to 1 Target and no Monsters Inc blu ray…so i decided to call the other ones in my area…i had to call 3 before i ended up finding a store with it…and of course it is the one that is 30 minutes away…wondering if it is even worth it at this point…
I just went to Target at 1 pm in Mesa, AZ (Super Target) and they had up for 19.99 but NONE of Monsters Inc. I was so excited…then sad that they were out. 🙁
I asked the guy if any Targets in the area had them and he said “nope, not on this side of Phx”…I was upset.
I have a fellow couponer friend who reserved two copies at her Target and we’re meeting up 2night to get them, *hopefully* they will Price Match. I hope. If not we’ll try Best Buy 🙂
Question-what is in the combo pack? We don’t have a Blu-Ray player, but I wasn’t sure if their was a regular DVD in there or not (as I’ve seen on other DVDs.) Thanks in advance!
If your Target won’t price match, try Toys R Us if you have one nearby.
They have a $10 gift card with $40 Disney DVD purchase. Get UP blue-ray for $25. Pick out any other Disney DVD to total $40 (BEFORE coupons) & get the $10 gift card. So it ends up the same.
But you can also stack this with the $10 gift card with $75 purchase coupon & the Hasbro games $10 gift card with $25 purchase offer & end up with $30 in gift cards. If you use MCs your total will actually be less than $70 & the deal will still work.
They were out of Monsters Inc AND Up at my Target! How sad!
The Monsters Inc are out and said they should stock more tomorrow so I will be there at 8 am to check again.

NOW… Im up for a great deal but THIS is WRONG…. If they gave you back too much then you should do the right thing and go back to them and return the money.. If it were the other way around you would beat a line to the door to get it right.. so DONT be like that.. Its just not a deal like that its called stealing.. 🙁 im sad some one would even consider that..
Just got back from Target and got an AWESOME deal! Got both Monster’s Inc & Up price matched with no questions asked PLUS used the $10 target coupon, $10 Up coupon, $8 Monster’s coupon AND they let me use the $10 off peelie! Grand total $3.21!! Plus I used 2 $3.50 off coupons on glade candles and got them both free ~ what a great shopping trip!
Im going tomorrow.. Hope my target works.. if not Ill take advice of one of you and walk right down the sidewalk to the best buy and see if they want my business.. A manufactor coupon takes NOTHING out of the stors hands.. they get it all back.. so You would think they would LOVE seeing you come to buy from them.. in these times expically!

What is wrong is using the $10 up man. coupon, the $8 monsters man coupon, the $10 Target – when you buy both coupon AND then trying to use the man. peelie. You cannot stack multiple man. coupons. Everyone knows this.
Cydne, can you pls explain how the deal works at Toys R us. I was just trying to calculate it, as my target has no Monsters Inc movie, so Im hoping to ge thte deal else where. Anyways, the numbers are not adding up for. THe UP movie is 25, and then MOnsters Inc is 35, and if I add something else to get my total to 75, and even with the two 10 dollar gift cards they will give me, and then minus the manufacturer Q, still does not add up to the same deal as Target. Can you please explain as I really want to get both these movies. Thank so much in advance.
Also how many people have had luck getting price match done at Best Buy and be able to use Target Q there? Plus at Target the movie is coming up for 19.99, BB its 23.99.
My Target was out of the Monsters Inc. I tried to go to Best Buy, but they wouldn’t price match AND they told me they wouldn’t accept my manufacturer coupons!! I argued with the girl at Best Buy and she said she confirmed with her manager. So frustrating the Best Buy employees obviously don’t know what they’re talking about.
Becky, the combo pack includes the blue ray AND a regular dvd plus a digital copy if you want to download it to your computer. I wondered the same thing and found this out when I got to Target today. 🙂
Just got back from Target in NJ, sweet deal….Up combo pack was $19.99 and the Monsters combo pack rang up $16.99(WOW)!!! I used the $10 off coupon for Up, then the $10 peelie I found on Monsters combo pack,then the $10 off Target Coupon, total came up 9.57 for both!!!!!!! This deal was so good I went back after my husband got home and did it again. got the last copy of Monsters on the shelf!! What great Christmas presents!! I paid $19.14 for 2 combo packs of up and 2 combo packs of Monsters Inc!!! thanks Hip YOU ROCK!!!!
The deal worked smoothly for me at Target tonight.
The Up! Blu-ray/DVD combo pack was only $19.99 at my Target. I got a price adjustment on the Monsters one using the Best Buy ad. I was able to use all the coupons without a beep or problem.
In addition, I got two of the Christmas Mr. Potato Heads and my total for ALL was $15.01.
I plan to submit the rebates and will get at least $9.00 back!!

Worked like a charm! No problems here. I scoped out a (smart – looking cashier:)and she quickly adjusted the price to Best Buy’s then deducted the three coupons.
The reason I scoped out the cashiers is because last week I got a guy who had never price matched, then was sent to customer service w/ a gal who also didn’t have a clue. Finally got it resolved, but took 20 minutes then.

just came back from target, and still no monsters inc movie in blu ray. this really sucks, so i just bought Up movie since they only had one copy left.
I used my target coupons for this today. I took the best buy add for price match and target had the up combo pack for 19.99! so that was a free movie if you purchased both up and monsters inc! what an awesome deal
If you go to walmart the coupon works on the regular DVD. I got Tinkerbell the other day and UP tonight for $4.96 each!!
So, after finally tracking down a MONSTERS movie at Target, they’re on add. The cashier said the $10 offer for Best Buy was cancelled by the Target $10 coupon (they were the same thing) so he didn’t honor the price match really?? Both rang up for $24 and since I already have Monster on DVD I just got UP. Pretty bumbed, cuz I just love a sweet deal. Ended up paying $14 for the UP on blu-ray. Oh well, better luck next time.
I had a very pleasant experience doing this transaction with NO issues 🙂 My Target is always good about coupons, so I’m lucky! I asked the cashier when I was checking out if I do the price matching with her or at the service desk. She told me to take it over to the service desk and they would do it there. I took both movies to the service desk with my Best Buy ad & before I did anything asked if it was ok if I used coupons with a price match so that there wasn’t confusion. The lady said “yes” & didn’t give me any problems about it! I got BOTH movies for a total of $13.55 (including tax!)
I thought that paying $6.77 per DVD was AMAZING!!! On the bottom of my receipt it said “You saved $51 dollars!!” I believe they still taxed me on the full amount of what the cost WOULD have been, but STILL! Love a good deal!
My Target in Lafayette, IN wouldn’t allow the price match on Monster’s Inc because it was a special promotion that Best Buy was offering only when you purchace it with UP. Because it was a promotional sale Target wouldn’t honor the the price match.
But, I still got a great deal because Target didn’t have any UP Blue Ray’s so they allowed my the DVD version instead (to use with their $10 coupon, price matched it to Best Buy at 15.99, Monsters was 26.99. The two came to 43 + tax minus Target’s 10/2 c oupon minus 10/1 UP – 8/1 Monsters. The total, with tax, came to $15.28. While I’m disappointed in not getting the price match I am still happy for the deal.
