I ordered 4 books for $20 total. Then when my email confirmation came, it showed one book was out of stock so they charged me for shipping and the total for 3 books came to a little over $22. I called to try and order another book. They let me do that but still wanted to charge me a ton for shipping. They wouldn’t let me use the code for $1 shipping either so I cancelled my whole order. I asked to talk to a manager and they put me on hold for over 5 minutes!

Anon. 10:38, same thing happened to me. I just got off the phone w/ customer service and I explained that I had ordered 4 but only 3 were instock and then they charged me shipping. He asked if I would like to add another book. I did and my total was $20 plus the free shipping.
One of my cookbooks was out of stock. Dont order THE ULTIMATE COOKIE COLLECTION – OUT OF STOCK and will mess up your order! I cancelled my original and will place a new order.
I had to call as the casserole one was sold out. They let me just add another one for 20 plus free shipping. There is quite a wait for customer service and a bit of a language barrier, but once she understood she was really helpful and handled it quickly.

Same thing happened to me – the Taste of Home Baking book is not available (I ordered 4)- I called & canceled my order – they were very helpful. Bummer – would have been a great deal. Thanks again for all the great deals – I’ve taken advantage of lots of them!
My order reflected shipping charges. I called Customer Service with code in hand. She advised that these books are not elegible for free shipping. Cancelled my order 🙁

i just ordered 9 cookbooks. Hope i get them ALL. Like someone else mentioned….last time they did this deal I ordered a bunch and I also got a postcard in the mail telling me that my cc was not charged and that the cookbooks were no longer avail or shipped to me. 🙁 Sad day! I ordered 4 cookbooks on the 14th, I received a confirmation email saying 1 of them were out of stock so I called and added another one that was in stock, so I would get the free shipping. Today I got my order : 3 cookbooks plus they charged me 7.99 shipping. So I called….I can’t get the 4th cookbook that I ordered because they are now out of stock, but she did refund my shipping cost.
