I hate to say it, but I agree with Jamie. Although I completely support Collin and fully appreciate everything that she does, I felt that the lemon was overdone a bit in the video. I think that if the lemon would have been shown once fine whatever. But three times???? And the last one was……odd for better lack of words. Why was the lemon in her shirt? It appeared like she was trying to hard to get her point accross. Collin please do not get me wrong I love your videos and look forward to them every week, but its getting a little old and overdone. How about instead next week we do “Spot the lemon”. Not sure what you have planned to do for next weeks video, but in one of your scenes you should hide the lemon and see which reader can find it first! Thanks once again!

I totally agree RJW. People lighten up. Collin was having fun. If you dont like it dont watch her videos. I dont see you complaining about all the great tips and ideas Collin gives you. Collins videos gos along with everything she does on Hip2Save so just enjoy the humor or dont watch her.

I agree, I think you should put lemons in every video and we just have to look hard to find them. Does anyone watch the show Psych? In every episode there’s a random pineapple. Then you go online and type in where you saw the pineapple and get entered to win prizes!
Where do you find the time? I love your site the only problem is we do not have a lot of the stores up here in the great white north. Kohl’s, Target, Wal-Mart & we just got a Walgreens are about it. The best we can do is travel 200 miles to another state for most of the other chain stores. Keep up the good work. Oh the same goes for restaurants, I so love when we go to WI to get my Olive Garden & Breakfast at IHOP. The whole trip is planned around food.
My mom has the same problem in the UP. I tell her about my deals from Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid all the time! She has a Walmart but even Target and Kohls are three hours away!
Hey Collin! I love your site and I look forward to follow me Mondays every week! I do have a question though… I notice in your videos that you often have coffee and this time it was STARBUCKS!! Do you discounted prices on your Starbucks? I love it and would drink it everyday but it gets a little expensive. So I would love any coupon ideas for them! Thanks!!
She usually has a starbucks and wears Seven for All Mankind Jeans on (as do it). I know for the 7’s they are on sale once in awhile but I think Collin maybe buys the starbucks as a treat because she saves so much money every week that she can splurge. I dont know. I wondered this when watched her first few videos. 🙂
There are a lot of times legit coupons on ebay…
I buy bags of Starbucks ground coffee at the grocery store when it’s on sale (using coupons, of course). Then you can take the empty bag (specially marked packages) to a Starbucks for a free cup of coffee!
I think its hilarious the number of people who complain about the things you do (the lemons and lemon references). I mean COME ON. Haven’t you saved them enough money that they should watch you dance around in a lemon costume if they want to see what deals you’ve worked out? Simple answers people, if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. I just don’t think someone should complain about a FREE service that gets you FREE products. Only in America lol.

In the nicest way possible, you might want to wear a different shirt. Your videos almost always have you in a low shirt, you can almost see right down your shirt. Just helping you out.

I have to agree with everyone here. I think Collin dresses really cute and always looks stylish, until she starts bending over and starts showing too much. That is pushing it to distasteful. She is really cute and we want her to stay cute. All Liz was trying to do was give Collin a little tip so all of our eyes don’t head straight for her chest and we can concentrate on the video and saving money instead.

I think it’s pretty rude to post that here. I mean, I understand you are trying to save her some embarassment so that we don’t all see her cleavage, but you could have emailed her and not posted it in the comment section for the world to see. Now next week everyone’s going to be looking to see if her shirt is too low! A little discretion would be nice. Would you yell out loud at your husband, boyfriend, father , etc, “HEY! YOUR FLY IS OPEN!!!” or would you pull them to the side and tell them in a hushed tone? I think instead of saving her the embarassment you just made it worse.

thanks for all the great info! About the Incoco dry nail appliques on clearance at Walgreens, dont knock them until you’ve tried them! I have tried them many times and love them. Avon first had these several years ago. They are so great for travel, last about 2 weeks with normal use and are great for teenagers and the younger set if you are worried about spilled nail polish on carpet and furniture. Also, if your hubby hates the smell of nail polish it is not a problem with these. Give ’em a whirl – especially at clearance prices.
I really, really, really need a deal on some golf clubs. Our store does not have nor have they ever had golf clubs marked down at all. Only full price here. Anybody wanna help me find some men’s clubs for my dear sweet hard-working hubby?
First of all, if your hubby is going to be serious about golf, do NOT buy them at target. Apparently it’s quite a joke to “the guys” to get the “clubs in a box”, as my hubby has said. Unfortunately, the decent golf clubs cost a fortune even on clearance. The best way we have found good clubs is if you have a well stocked salvation army or nice neighborhood garage sales. My hubby found a set of custom made clubs worth hundreds for $20 at a garage sale. Good Luck, I hope this helped a little.:)
My DH would agree. But the $30 set at Target would be great for a beginner who doesn’t know if they’re going to like golf or not. Great for a teen golf novice. Especially since kids change their mind often after starting a new activitiy.
I love the lemons, Collin. I agree with Lacey from above when she said you theme should be lemons. Having hidden lemons would be so,so funny. I laughed so hard and loudly when I saw the Lemon still shot. My husbund asked me what was so funny. Anyway, great job. Love the videos. You rock!!
