DEAD!

I am super excited! I just received an email that the ginormous Huggies wipes refill packs are actually ringing in at the same sale price of the regular small boxes of Huggies wipes! That means the huge refills are on sale for just $2.50 each (they may not be marked, so make sure to do a price check)! These are regularly priced at $7.99, so this is a steal! If you have a $4 off $20 CVS coupon, then you’ll be able to sweeten this deal even further! (Thanks, MavenOfSavin’!)

    • lynn @ Maven of Savin

I heard that and my coupon kiosk said it was unable to print coupons!! Will have to head back tomorrow or check another store!!!

  2. sheila

I hope my CVS has this deal even though my kids are 6 and 12…I use them in the kit/ba for quick clean ups!

  3. Tara

Where does one scan their card? I don’t think I have ever seen a machine in ours, where are they normally located? Thanks!

    • Jamiebarr2

I have one of those scanner things close to the front of the store near the toothpaste at my closest CVS…. If any doubts, ask an employee for help 🙂

  4. Jennifer

I was just going to e-mail this deal to you. I verified it at the store near me and it worked!! To top it off, I received a $2.00/1 CVS Store Coupon for Huggies Wipes. Plus I got a $5 off $15. WAHOO!!!

  5. Leslie

They were marked $2.50 at my CVS and thought it was a mistake.

  6. Jennifer

I have to add that if you use Upromise and you buy 2 packages of Wipes, you can get $1 added to your Upromise account.
Note: make sure you activate your Upromise coupons.

  7. Allison

Anyone know how long wipes keep? I am having my first baby in March and already have tons from my baby shower so I am not sure if I should keep stocking up or not. They wont dry out quickly right?

    • lynn @ Maven of Savin

Allison – they are in a sealed bag, cannot imagine you would have any problem at all!

    • Angie

I have had some packages dry out but if you just add a little water it moistens them right back up.

    • Lacey

These wipes will keep. I bought a bazillion (okay nobody go crazy b/c I said that please) last year (March) when they had their huge deal and the high value coupons. I am getting towards the end of them. I would buy as many as you can if I were you. I am so glad we did since my husband had a tremendous drop in work (atleast half) in 2009. Go ahead and take care and prepare for your family. : )

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for all of the advice girls!! Will plan to stock up 🙂

    • Jenna

You can never have too many wipes! Add water. Like mentioned or also use as shower gifts. Just ran out at 9pm when the hubs got home and stocked up. If they get sick…like a stomach bug you’ll go through a lot!

  8. Shosh

I just read this post and then ran to CVS. Thank you so much! I got 4 packages! Allison, I think wipes last a REALLY long time. As long as the package is sealed, I seriously doubt they would dry out. You should buy some…newborns poop ALOT! 🙂

  9. Erin

Thank you thank you!!! Swiped my card and got a 5 off 15, I used coupons as well, had extra bucks and a gift card from perscriptions. 8 packages for FREE!!!!! We are stocked up for a while.

  10. KARLA MONTANO

when i finished reading this post…i headed right over to cvs….i got 2 packs, one aquafresh toothpaste, and one excedrin migrain bottle…i had a $5 off $15, a $4 cvs coupon for aquafresh, and 1 free excedrin bottle free…..total with coupons….$1.13
    THANK YOU SO MUCH COLLIN!!!

  11. laura

omg i just got back i got all they had and i am going in the am to another store in the am what a great deal thank you so much

  12. Grace

Any insert cpns thtcan be applied towards this purchase????

  13. Rachel

Just went out and did this deal. I had 5 extra care bucks, so 2 cost me $.46 which was tax!!

  14. Tiffany

I just bought 3 packages. After the $2.00 coupon and extra care bucks I spent $0.59!!!!!! I am not due until July so I hope they last. I may be going out tomorrow to get more if I can!!! Thanks Hip2Save!!!

    • Lacey

I commented above, but these will totally last. I have some I got just a month shy of a year ago. They are all just fine. I have not had to add water or anything. I highly recommend all you can buy. Even once your child is potty trained, you will use these all the time to wipe hands/face or do a quick wipe up on the highchair and/or table. Without coupons, this is an awesome deal. Highly encourage ya’ll to ask for rainchecks. I did last year when they Always Infinity pads were ringing up for $4.99. Then, if a coupon does come out, you will have an even better deal. If a employ tries to tell you they can’t write one, then either have them scan one to see the price…or if the bags or all gone, they can scan the tag (I think) where they are located on the shelf. Just an idea to keep in mind…and these will be cleaned off shelves. : )

  15. CHRISTINA

    where do u get the 4/20 q

  16. Haley

Woo Hoo! Just got back after reading your post and heading to CVS. Got 10 packages. I didnt have any CVS coupons but had some manufacturer coupons. My son is set for a while. Thanks Collin.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Alright Guys….I just ran out to CVS because I was in need of baby wipes…….well it didn’t work for me. I went to the front and asked them to do a price check and they are $7.99. Thinking back they also didn’t scan my cvs card…could this be the problem or my store here in Virginia beach didn’t make the mistake. I am so bumming…was going to stock up too!!!!!!

    • Nathalie

I would go back and have them scan your card. When I went I purchased 8 packages, she scanned my card and the total was $40+ after a few seconds of panicking (and the machine working) the correct total came out.

    • Jennifer

I had the same problem before they scanned my card. Go back and have them scan your card and then the item.

  18. Judy

Just ran to CVS… scanned the card, got $5 off $15!! 6 bags for $10! Score!!! Thanks Ladies!

  19. Julia @ The Frugal Find

    Confirmed in CA!

  20. Jennifer

I’m so excited about this offer. I too am expecting and need to stock up. I’m going to go after work tomorrow!

    • Lacey

I am going to repeat myself b/c I want to be helpful to you…Your store will probably be wiped (LOL!) out tomorrow. Be sure and get a RAINCHECK. I wouldn’t take no for an answer either. There will be more coupons that will come out later that you will be able to sweeten this deal when using the raincheck.

  21. Spring

Oh man, oh man!!! I read the post and hit the local CVS in Big Stone Gap, VA. Scanned my card and got a $5/$15 purchase. I loaded up…. 6 packs for $10 bucks! Hallelujiah!

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

are they scanning your CVS card too….please help. I ran out and wasn’t able to get the deal! Not sure if i did something wrong…could someone answer/help????

    • Stacey

You have to use your CVS card. When I pricechecked them at the kiosk it said regular price 7.99 on sale for 2/5.00 with card.

  23. Lacey

I just went to CVS, the price scanner was done so they did it with a machine…it rung up 7.99. Does it have to been rung up with your card? I’m expecting another so this would be wonderful if it worked out!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I guess I am not the only one that ran out and didn’t get the deal either….:(

      • monalissa

May I know your location?? I am about to go to my CVS. I am here in Antioch, CA. =)

    • Nathalie

It does have to be rung up with your card 😉

    • Lacey

Hey, there must be 2 of us Laceys on here. LoL!

    • Sheila

YES!! Ring it up with your card at the register!!! I’m sure your store is doing it…even here in Nor Cal where we NEVER get the deals we got this one!!!

  24. Tracie

I wish, I wish we had CVS in Utah!!! My nine year old daughter in a wheelchair goes through so many wipes for diaper changes…. guess I’ll keep watching for something here…

  25. Leslie

It is working in the Indy area. But it has to be a computer pricing mistake…cause this is cheaper than Costco.

  26. kim

CVS in PA……I called the store first. After the third store they DID have them on sale 2 for $5. He was very surprised on the phone. I walked into the store and scanned by card. $5 off $15 purchase. Got 6 bags for $10. When they scanned on the card scanner in the aisle it read 2 for 5 but the register rang them at $7.99. Not sure if this helps you or not when shopping but keep it in mind. If you see the sale price on the scanner in the store they have to honor it!

    • marisa

      where are u in PA?

  27. Sandee

I just got back from CVS after reading this. I scanned my card and also got a $5 off $15 purchase so I got 6 bags for $10.33 with tax ( I also had a .50 off coupon). For those saying theirs still scanned 7.99 maybe go back and have them ring up 2 packages and give them your extra care card. It may be that if you buy just one it is 7.99 but you have to buy 2 to get the 2/$5. When I did the price check it said 7.99 but underneath that it said 2/$5 with extracare card. Thanks for the tip!

  28. Cath

Got a couple today – kept it down to 2 in case other mamas around need some cheap wipes.

And I agree with the above comment that it’s a pricing mistake – but for now they are honoring it. However, the mgr at my store said they won’t be doing rainchecks because it is an unadvertised deal (the $2/5 is only advertised with the regular tubs, not the giant refills apparently).

    Hurry yourself over there!

  29. Tara

It worked here in Indiana too! I scanned my card at the kiosk (that I hadn’t ever seen before tonight) and got the $5 off a $15 purchase to sweeten the deal!

  30. Jessica

    I just got 4 Huggie’s refill bags and 2 pamper’s tubs for 2.98! SWEET! 🙂 Thanks Collin!

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh SHIZZZ! i’M GOING THERE RIGHT NOW JUST IN CASE THEY CHANGE IT TOMORROW!!!!

  32. Ashley

Can someone tell me what variety the sale wipes are? Are the Huggies Naturals no-fragrance coming up as 2.50? I have $1/1 huggies wipes from the Feb. Safeway booklet, so I’m hoping to really score on this one!!!

    • Becky

All of the refill packs are ringing up for $2.50 I scanned them all when I was there earlier HTH

    • Renee

I have the same safeway booklet coupon and its says 1.00 off any so it should work fine on these refile. Haven’t tried yet but definately headed there tomorow. I am in tucson, AZ.

    • Sheila

I got a natural care one (fragrance free) and a sensitive one. Both rang up on sale.

      • Ashley

Yep! So excited about this one! I got 10 packages, used a $5/20 Q, 10 $1/1 Qs, to make it only $10 for 10 packages! That is so nuts! Considering the regular price was 7.99 x 10 = 79.90, that is incredible! I won’t need wipes for a Looonnnnnnng time. 🙂

        • annie

where did u get the $1.00/1 cpns?

  33. Becky

I bought 6 packs and used a $5 off $15 CVS coupon and 6 $1 off from the Vons coupon booklets. I only spent $4.98 with tax for all 6 Thanks for letting my know. Your the Best!!

  34. Katie

Got a pack for free tonight! Thanks!!!!

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Alright….I posted earlier in how I didn’t get the deal. Well I went back to CVS in VA Beach and was able to score the sale. I made sure I took two packages up, had the cashier scan my CVS card and it scanned in at 2.50 each……wooo hoooo I was able to get 8 packs for $14.00 dollars…I got $4 off $20.00. Thanks so much Collin….I love Hip2Save! Go Lemons:) Glad I went back. The cashier I am sure thought I was a NUT!

  36. Felicia

As soon as I read this post I jumped in the car and flew to CVS!! LOL It is 30 seconds from my house!!! I got 16 packs! I have a daughter in diapers and my sister in law in due in June! Using them for part of her baby shower gift! WOOHOO!!

  37. Kristy

I just got back from my CVS and scored the $5 off $15 coupon and stocked up on wipes! What a great deal! Thanks Collin!

  38. Virginia

yikes DH is still out working right now so I can’t go. I really want to score this deal as I have 2 in diapers so we go through a lot of wipes! When DH is on his way home I am going to have him check the 24 hour CVS and see if they have the deal. Then I will check all the others in the morning. I just hope they don’t change the deal by then!

It is snowing here right now so hopefully not to many others out clearing the shelves!

    Thanks Collin for posting!

  39. lauren

    Thank you!!

  40. bridget

Thank You so much for the wipes deal, I was just running out of wipes for my baby.

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Got the deal but only 2 for 5 which I am happy with scanned my card and didn’t get anything extra

  42. Mary

OMG, I read this as I was sitting on the couch debating on going to bed early. I told my husband they would all be gone by tomorrow and he told me to go get some. So I went to the CVS right near me. They had two left. Their coupon scanner wasnt working either. I asked if they had more and she gave me a rain check, but they were for the smaller count. She said she could only give me what was in the paper. I said that was fine, got 2 of them and 4 clearance candies. I also had 2 $1 off any Kimberley Clark product coupons (from telling them I like pampers better, lol). My total came to 5.98. (2.52 was the candy). A $5/15 coupon and $2/1 Huggies wipes coupon printed out. She pointed out that there was another one not far away but she thinks they close at 10. It was 9:45. So I haul butt and make it there at 9:51. They had tons!!!! So I got six, used the $5/15, $2/1 coupon and paid 8.60! So for 8 HUGE packs of wipes I paid….. 12.06, thats $1.50 a pack! .007 per wipe! This is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Sheila

      AMAZING!! WHAT A RUSH HUH>????

  43. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Go to bed kids so I can send hubby out to get them!!! lol I will have 3 in diapers in a couple weeks so we NEED them!! lol

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got some in TEXAS!!! Bought a ton!!! Woohoo!!!

    • Elizabeth

I got some in Texas also !!! Yeah Collin you made everyones day ! I have a 3 mth. old grandson and also my disabled husband fell outside on the (concrete) and fractured his pelvic bone on both sides and all he can do is pretty much lay around for about 6 weeks and (wear a diaper ) and take it easy to help the healing process. This baby wipes deal is helping tremendously around my house. Thanks so much… This deal was Sent from Heaven !!!!!

  45. Shelly

Worked for me! Yay! Just got back and got 8 packs but did not get the $5/15 or any other coupons 🙁 and i am new to cvs so did not see a card scanner either. How do you guys get these other coupons???

    • Mary

If you were going to get one at the scanner but just couldnt find it, it would print out at the end of your receipt. Kinda like an ECB.

  46. Anabel

Collin you have me addicted to this site!!!!!! I don’t even have kids in diapers and I got all excited about this sale!!! (I was thinking baby shower gifts!!!) will go out tomorrow, hope there are wipes still out there when I go. My CVS is always out of all the sales!!!

  47. Lorianne

HOLY TOLEDO!!! Thank you so much!!! Just got some!!! Oh HAPPY DAY!!!!

  48. Megan

Yay! I scored 6 bags of wipes–my CVS had tons left. I didn’t get anything good from the store kiosk printer but I had 2 old Huggies coupons that I used along with $11 in ECB–so for $3.36 I got $48’s worth of wipes. Thanks so much for posting this deal! 🙂

  49. Janet

This is such an AWESOME deal! I just came back and they were on sale without a tag stating it. So, I price checked it and they were on sale. Yay!! It’s so funny but I’m truely excited about this because I just bought one of these yesturday for the price I paid for 6 today! Thank you Collin and your readers for the tips.

    • Elizabeth

Maybe you could try and return the full priced one that is if you don’t need it. Just a thought.
