DEAD!

I am super excited! I just received an email that the ginormous Huggies wipes refill packs are actually ringing in at the same sale price of the regular small boxes of Huggies wipes! That means the huge refills are on sale for just $2.50 each (they may not be marked, so make sure to do a price check)! These are regularly priced at $7.99, so this is a steal! If you have a $4 off $20 CVS coupon, then you’ll be able to sweeten this deal even further! (Thanks, MavenOfSavin’!)

With a little one due in 3 wks 5 days I ran out last night right after seeing this posted, tried not to get too excited b/c I find my local stores usually don’t have these great deals other people find but YAY!! It worked,.. I got 4 packages (only 1 with a code tho) and did the tide deal, after coupons and a $5 off $15 that printed I paid $12 in ECB’s, $3 oop and got a $2 ECB back.. I love CVS and this site!!!!

  2. m.p.

They were $6.99 at my store so I did price check and showed up $2.50. I had $10.00 extra bucks and got 4 packs. I did not get a coupon for wipes on the price check scanner but it printed out a diaper coupon, still good. I have packs of baby wipes stocked up for next year and I always take advantage of good deals. They never dry out if they are not open. My kids are 3 and 12 and we all use baby wipes for our “behind” 🙂 They are also great to clean up the mess around the house. I will go back and get some more. You will never find better price on this big pack. The cheapest one I have seen recently was $4.99
Thank you for posting this, otherwise I would miss it.
(I am a very good shopper and I do not shop if is not free or close to free….so I am thinking how I missed this one).

  3. krista

Got them! Thanks so much!!!! Also, at my CVS- all varities of the huggies were ringing up for $2.50. Even the sensitive, etc. Awesome!

  4. Carol Ann

Just went to the CVS in Grapevine, TX and got 10 packages!!!! They are still marked $7.99 on the shelf but ring up $2.50 even without a CVS Card!!!!! I am going to another one on my lunch break and getting more 🙂

  5. Stefanie

CONFIRMED!!! Plus when I bought all my stuff for the week, my ECBs printed a $4/$15!!!! So…I’m going back tomorrow to get some more wipes…I should be able to get 6 packages for $11!!!! These were regularly priced at $7.99/ea. What a STEAL!!!! And with no coupons necessary either!!

  6. Creolegyrl

Thanks for the heads up! I was able to get 6 packs.

  7. ashley

Thanks for posting such a great deal Collin! I stocked up on some of these last night. I have a little one due in May. Do you ladies have any idea how many wipes I will need? I love stocking up at great prices but I don’t want to overstock. In a worse case I figure they will make a great gift for someone else expecting! Any thoughts on an estimate though?? Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You will need TONS of wipes. Little ones are usually in diapers for a couple of years, so you can never have too many. They will go through them FAST!!!

    • Lacey

Buy ALL you can get your hands on!!!! Trust us all! : )

    • Leyla

Trust me, you can never have too many wipes. You will be using wipes for a lot of things, not just diaper changes. Stock up now. Good quality wipes are expensive so if you can save now, do it!

    • MommySpendsLess

I don’t know how we survived without wipes pre-baby 🙂 They’re useful for everything for everyone! In addition to diapering they’re good for wiping off hands and faces (even of older kids), the high chair tray, heck even regular dusting if they’re cheap enough!

You really don’t have to worry about overstocking them because they store great! I have left some unopen wipe packages in the baby’s closet for 8 months and they were still like new when I was ready to use them.

  8. Tiffany

This was an awesome deal… We have 2 babies in diapers and one toddler potty training so we go through ALOT of wipes. I was so excited when I saw this last night I went to my 24 hour one down the road to see if the price was the same. When they came up on the scanner it said 2/5.00 I was super happy lol. Made a run to a different cvs also this morning and the price was still the same. I guess they haven’t caught on that this is an obvious price error. Some of these comments are so negative, CVS does do rain checks and they don’t expire and every CVS in my area gets a truck delivery every week so it is quite alright if you go into a store and they are out of something you wanted to buy… just remember they will restock the self, CVS is not going out of business anytime soon lol. When you find a good deal you cannot sit on it especially this day in age because more than likely someone or several people have beat you to it… In my area it is the people who work at CVS who see the prices ring up all day everyday are the ones that clear the shelves. I have had many tell me that they read all the money saving CVS blogs and message boards. I have also had several tell me they put stuff aside on their shift to purchase later. I have no problems when I go in a store and find they shelf is empty because the early bird gets the worm and I obviously wasn’t early enough(plus I can get a raincheck and save for good coupons!) Most of the time the stores don’t have a huge stock to begin with…. Anywho thank you Collin for posting this and also to who ever originally found this deal, without you guys I wouldn’t have known about this since I had no reason oringally to go in CVS and price check the large bags of wipes 🙂

  9. Ana Maria

Yay! I was able to go to my nearest CVS this morning and bought 2 216 ct fragrance free huggies wipes for $5.39 total!!! Then after eating at IHOP with my 3 kiddos stopped by another CVS on the way home and bought 2 packs there for $5.39 total 🙂 I wish I would’ve had some coupons myself to sweeten the deal further but hey still pretty awesome! (Nothing printed out at registers either) So that’s what about 864 wipes for $10! Thanks again for the info on this deal!

  10. ellan

So here’s a weird question. I scanned my card and got some random cuopon for candy or something that I don’t want….what would happen if I scanned it again? is there a cycle these will go through? I plan to go back to another CVS tonight – what will happen if I scan my card again?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve never personally tried scanning my card more than once, but I recently heard from others that it will scan more than once and eventually it will stop spitting out coupons but that it does do it more than once.

      • Kari

I scanned mine twice and it said try again tomorrow.

    • Maria

You need to sit a minute after your coupons come out when you scan your CVS card. I went in today, scanned my card, got my coupons and darted for the wipes. Then I went back up to price check and there were 2 more coupons there with my name on them for hair care and those candies. So be sure you wait until all of your coupons print out. I’ve never tried scanning twice either. But it might be worth a shot!

    • Jill

I scanned my card and got nothing useful. I bough 6 packages last night and got no coupons. I went to another CVS today and bought 4 (still no coupons), but when my receipt printed this time, there was a $5/$15 purchase and $2 off Huggies wipes coupon. I don’t know why I didn’t get that last night.

    • MommySpendsLess

Although I never get more than the two basic CVS brand coupons anymore [WAAHHH!! I think I used my card too much 🙁 It might be time to start over with a new card…?] Back in the good ole days, I used to scan my card several times each visit. After about three times of getting different coupons, the machine would display a message letting me know that there weren’t any more coupons available for my card and to try again tomorrow (I don’t rememeber the exact message but it will be clear when you get there). There’s no reason not to try scanning it more than once, except a minute of your time.

  11. Noel

I live in MO and the only CVS near me is in Springfield and that is 45 min away. I called this morning before I drove there and they said that they didn’t see any in stock 🙁 Sad I missed out on such a great deal. Glad for everyone who got to enjoy it though!

    • Lisa

Get a raincheck! I don’t know if they will give you one b/c it is unadvertised, but if you scan the shelf tag and it rings up at $2.50, maybe they will honor it?

I went this morning and a lady was walking out with EIGHT of them! I asked her if there were any left, lol. I didn’t want to get out of my car if they were gone; it was the only reason I was stopping. She said yes! So I went in and got 4, 2 for me, 2 for my co-worker. I even left 2, which the cashier was so excited about, she went and grabbed them! For some reason, this CVS gets trucks daily, so I’ll go back daily and pick 2 or 3 up at a time to leave plenty for others.

      • D

CVS does not get truck daily… I work at CVS and we get them on Thursdays.

        • Lisa

Yes, that is the way my “usual” CVS gets trucks in, but the manager at this new CVS says right now they get stock in daily. I’m not sure why, just what he told me 🙂

  12. Monica

You won’t be able to get a raincheck since this is not advertised. I was happy to get 1 my pack today, all that was left at my store, used a $0.50 manu c.

    • mss2069

I got a rain check bc this lady went to all cvs around here and cleaned them out.

  13. Michelle C.

Just went this morning to a local CVS in Sevierville, TN and got 4 pack for $10 bucks. They are normally $8.69 a pack and this was a STEAL! I even got a $5/$15 ECB back. I will use this later today when I stop at the one on the way home… You can NEVER have too many wipes =) Thanks Collin! I just found your site and I will be a life long follower =)

  14. Jennifer

Went today and was able to get 3! The CVS’ in town are limiting each person to 3 because a man went in to one of the stores (there are only 3 here) this morning and cleaned them out, so that manager called the other 2 store managers and encouraged them to impose a limit and they did! I’m happy with my 3, but sure wish I could get more, my little one flies through wipes!! 🙂

  15. galaxystar2

Thanks so much Collin & everyone! I just went to CVS this morning and bought 6 packages of wipes (normally $6.99 here) and used 6 $1 coupons from the Safeway coupon booklets so only $1.50 a package, which I paid for with ECB! Yay!

  16. robyn

THANK YOU!! i got mine today. 6 packs for $7 (with tax). i had a few coupons, $5/$15, and a $2 ECB. i caught myself doing a little dance when i price checked it and it rang up at $2.50. i was/am sooo excited about this. NEVER would have known if you didn’t tell us. thanks again.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

fabulous deal!!! I was able to get 11 packs! I was too late on this deal last year, soo happy to catch it this time, especially that we’re about to have 3 kiddies under 4 very soon..boy do we go through wipes!..and all of them have codes on the packages! yippee!

  18. Tami

I went this morning in California… I scanned my card got a $5 off $15 coupon. Then I had a $3/2 coupon for huggies diapers (but it scanned for wipes) no problem. I was able to get 6 packages 216 count for $7 and some change. Not to shabby! If you have more huggies coupons it would be even cheaper. They are ringing up 2/$5 when you use your CVS card. Whooo Hoooo…. thanks!

  19. Mary

Deal is still good here in Baltimore MD. I have gone to two stores today (after my two last night). I got five at one store and the lady said, wow alot of people are buying these! Which makes me think that they have more in the back cause the shelves are so small. I have a CVS right down the street from me that I will be checking throughout the week! I have a 16 mo and one on the way, so you know I need them!

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Best post ever!! I got six packages for $10.70! I was lucky and got a $5/$15! My husband was proud! Thanks Colin:)

  21. Courtney

  24. Candace

Got 4 packs of the sensitive big packs this afternoon, and matched them with $0.50 coupons for an awesome deal!

  25. danielle

  26. Jennifer

Thanks so much! What a wonderful deal for those of us who use wipes every day.

  27. Sandy

I found 8 packages on the shelf…Wooohooo! So glad I saw this post.

  28. Tara

Thanks! Got the 5 off 15 when I scanned my card, got 6 of the wipes packs for 9.78 using 2 fifty cent coupons. With two in diapers, this is a big help! I’ve been buying the value brand wipes because they are cheap but are really thin, I’m so glad to have some good quality wipes now! Thank you! Thank you!

  29. Judy

Deal is still good in Mass!

  30. Tara

Sorry, forgot to mention I’m in Cleveland, OH and I got this deal this morning!

  31. Chris

This is a great deal! I didn’t go yesterday because I figured they would be sold out or too good to be true for some reason. I finally dragged myself there this morning and scored 4 big bags!!

  32. LA

Only one left at my store – but I grabbed it! I said a thank you to the person who left it there for me!

  33. Sandy

I forgot too. Deal is good in Milwaukee, WI.

  34. Stephanie

No more left at the CVS next to Bonefish in Tallahassee, FL 🙂

  35. supersaversarah

Good in Monroe, MI as of 12:45 PM on Tuesday.

  36. Maria

I just stocked up here in Rochester Hills, MI. Don’t go to the CVS at Walton and Adams, they’re out! I was able to get 6 packages of huge wipes, colgate, Excedrine, and 4 tubes of Gleem toothpaste for $12 and change after a wipes coupon, the free excedrine coupon, and a colgate coupon. The gleem was an after thought when I got my $2 reward for buying the colgate – so I got 4 tubes for $2 because it is on clearance for $0.50 each!
Woo-woo! With 2 in diapers, this is going to help! Thanks!

  37. Anon

I scanned my CVS card twice and both times it printed out different sets of coupons!

    • Amanda

I had to work all weekend and didn’t check the site. I saw this post today and was so excited!!! I was afraid they would be all out at my CVS but I went and they had tons!! I checked the price at the kiosk and it said 7.99 on sale for 2/5 with card!!! I almost screamed! I got ten of them, I only have one in diapers now so this will last for a long time. Thank you Collin!

  38. Toni

Confiremed in Ellijay, GA. At work in Dalton and the first store I went to did not have any left but I will hit the one inChatsworth on my way home. Can’t say thanks enough.

    • Toni

  39. thorninc

    got 5 bags! yay!!!

  40. AshleyS

I stopped at CVS last night to get my daughter a perscription. I seen a lady walking out with like 15 of these Huggies refill packages. I was going to ask her what deal they had going on but I figured she wiped them out…. Which she did….. I cant wait to run up to the store later to try to grab some. We go thru a ton of wipes!! Thanks Collin.

    • Julie

uhh..was it me? 😉 I had to keep from dancing yesterday when my store price-checked at $2.50, and I got a TEN DOLLAR off of THIRTY DOLLAR!! coupon when I scanned my card! It was the first time I’d ever done it, and boy, wasn’t this the day! With THREE in diapers, I am one exuberant mama! (I saw the deal at 4:30 p.m. yesterday, and was out the door by 5:00!)
AND each “Ride” code racked up EIGHT POINTS! Thanks Collin!

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

are there any printable coupons to sweetend the deal?

  42. Karen

If you do not have a Upromise account, sign up for one! When you register your CVS card number through Upromise, you can e-load coupons onto your CVS cards and other grocery cards. There is a coupon for Huggies wipes…this money will be deposited into your Upromise account. I believe the e-coupon through Upromise is good through 2/28/10. They also have Huggies diapers to e-load. It’s a free program and good for saving money for college for your kiddos! http://www.upromise.com

  43. Melissa

Yea! I bought 8 packs this morning! AMAZING deal! Thanks!

  44. Lacey

Deal worked this afternoon in Grand Rapids, MI (52nd & Eastern). They had lots of the refill size wipes, and I called two other stores in the area (Lake Dr. and 28th & Eastern), and they were well stocked as well. I also got the $5/$15 when I scanned my card (WOO-HOO!), and picked up 10 packs for around $18 (also used 5 $.50/1 MQs). Great deal!

  45. Kelly

Just got 6 packages! Cleaned them out! also a 5 off 15 printed out for me! And I had 5 ECB’s that I had to use! Thanks so much!!!

  46. CJ

Can you believe I’ve never shopped at CVS? I want to go by & see if they have these after work though. How do I get a CVS card? Can I get one in the store, then scan it to see if I get any coupons? Or do you get them via mail?

    • Nina

      Hi CJ,

Today was my first trip to CVS as well. I signed up for the card when I got there then went to get the wipes, checked their price, and scanned my card to print the coupons. Unfortunately, none printed. From what the cashier told me, the machine prints coupons on what you buy and since I was a new customer with no purchases on the card, I would not get coupons. I’m not sure how true it is, but he was a sweet helpful young man who was doing his best to help.

I bought 3 packs even though I did not have coupons. I think I will try the Kiosk machine again tomorrow and see if a coupon prints. Maybe you’ll get lucky and coupons will print! Its worth a try, and still worth the trip if they didn’t considering the price is low!

      Good luck,

      Nina

  47. Elvira

WOW! I was excited to get 2 packs!! Maybe I should go and get more!!

  48. Christina

What a STEAL! I currently don’t have children but most of my friends are prego, What a great gift to put in a baby basket. I got the all Mega packs and they said 7.99 until I got to the counter and they rang up 2/5.00.. I bought 8! I love this website, and all the incredible deals it offers! Thanks Collin!!

  49. Bridget

When I got to CVS today (my first time in CVS), the manager told me that this deal ends tomorrow. Just an FYI 🙂
    Bridget

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

so will the price still be 2.50 tomorrow or does it go back to full price tomorrow?

  50. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tired purchasing these today and they rang up 7.99, so evidently they corrected the problem of the incorrect pricing. Oh well, I tried.

    • Lacey

My Mom just purchase several, several in TX. So, it is still working. No one would give her a raincheck at any of the several stores she went to (on a mission for something else). I am really sad about that b/c they gave rainchecks when the Always Infinity rang up for $4.99 last summer when we had the $4 Man. qs. I am still waiting on the asst. manager at my store to check with the store manager to see if she can issue me one. I think they should issue rainchecks for ANYTHING they are out of that is ringing up on sale. I have NEVER had them say they wouldn’t before. I still have rainchecks from when the Dove Revitalizers were ringing up for $3 something last years…after q. we paid like $0.25-$0.50 each. I know I have had my local grocery store try to tell me they wouldn’t give me a raincheck b/c something wasn’t in the ad. I clearly told them that they cannot possibly advertise every single thing that is on sale in one circular. The manager agreed with me. I have since always been able to get a raincheck for ANYTHING on sale. It would be really neat if someone could find out what CVS’s policy is on rainchecks. Then, we could storm the doors with our information…LOL!
