Has your Snapfish order been canceled?

Well, I have been bombarded with emails from readers in the last 24 hours letting me know that their recent Snapfish orders (free dog leash or free coasters) have been canceled. In these emails, Snapfish states that they have a “depleted inventory” or that these were “expired offers”. To make up for this frustration, Snapfish is offering to provide an alternative item (like a mug or greeting card) which is of much lower value and requires that you pay shipping! So frustrating!! I am so sorry for all of you that took the time to order these products only to find out that your orders will not be honored.

Thanks to Nicole over at Nicole’s Nickles, here is a suggestion for how to proceed…

  • Login to your account and contact Snapfish via their Live Chat option (The Live Chat option can be activated by clicking on the help link at the top of the page and then clicking on the right hand side where you see information about Live Chat; if the button does not come up right away, keep refreshing the page.)
  • Inform the Live Chat rep that you are not receiving what you ordered, that you did not sign up for the item they are offering, and that you want an item comparable in value to the item you originally ordered PLUS free shipping (Be sure to have a comparable item selected because you will most likely be asked what item you had in mind).

On side note, I have posted quite a few Snapfish deals previous to these and have always been pleased with the quality and price. One of my favorite deals was the awesome Photo planner for ONLY $1.49 shipped. With that said, I hope Snapfish learns from this experience, so I can continue posting their great deals (that DO work out).

    I am wondering if I should even bother to try and get my shipping refunded. I was one of the lucky ones who got credit for another item. I just ordered it and shipping was only 3.17.

    They just called me a liar and a cheat. Notice how they said the problem I caused and I manipulated the system! What jerks!

    I am sorry you feel like the campaign was misleading. When an offer clearly states a greeting card, but mysteriously turns into a coaster set, this should indicate something is wrong with the offer. I apologize that you were caught in the middle of this, but we are only able to honor the promotion as it was originally advertised.

    It was a campaign manipulated by an outside source. The original page you saw clearly indicated a greeting card. I know, because I have seen that page. However, instructions were given as to how to get around this promotion and get credits for something else. I understand how you feel, but I can not offer an alternate product.

    I got the same response, the rep was a total JERK and implied that I cheated and lied to get the coasters! And I even spoke with a customer service rep when I ordered to make sure the credit was valid! Where do you contact a supervisor? Someone tell me, please!

    I contacted SnapFish about my free photo dog leash and free photo coaster plus free shipping. They refused to help and wouldn’t even offer free shipping. They told my the leash depleted and the coasters expired, then the rep changed the story and said that the coaster offer was a scam and that how could i possibly expect coasters when it was a 5 x 7 photo card that mysteriously turned into coasters? It was a lie and misleading. Its not about the free items its about the integrity, fairness, and this website being unethical. While everyone else is getting a 19.95 value of a free dog leash PLUS free shipping, others like me are getting a lesser value item minus the free shipping. The photo mug they offered is 9.99 and then I have to pay 6.95 for snail mail. That’s almost the same amount as the free gift. It also didn’t help that this company kept me on hold during the live chat for over an hour.

    Ok, I just spoke with 2 different reps. The first, something-hash, was not helpful at all! But the second, Sai, was extremely kind and helpful. Since they sold out of leashes, I was able to upgrade the mug to a collage commuter mug. Because let’s be honest, how many people need another regular coffee mug? But I am sure we all love our travel mugs! Then he refunded the shipping costs for me. For those of you not getting the answers you hoped for, keep trying until you get someone that will help you.
