Just called my Wags and the manager said if they scan it and it goes through they’ll take it. So…those of you who have been able to get this deal, did the coupon beep or go through right away?
i don’t think it beeped for me… it just prompts them to enter the price for the free one manually…

Kristen the first one will ring up $5.99 and the second one will ring up free. The register will prompt the cashier to enter the amount for the coupon which is $5.99. Hope that helps.

I was so confused today… I went to WAG’s but they didn’t have any signage stating BOGO. So I left.. Does this automatically ring up at everyone’s stores? I couldn’t find an ad anywhere that said this was on sale. Also, does this mean its all thru the month of March, or Feb? Cause if it’s thru today, I have to run back down there tonight!

the signage was not on ine either. I took it up to cashier for a price check and it rang up bogo.
My store does not have the signs up quite often. I just double check the deal in the weekly ad, it should be advertised. Otherwise just get a price check.
It didn’t really work for me at my Rialto, CA store. One rang up for $3, the other for $2.99. i bought them anyway. I use the free & clear kind to wash my daughter’s diapers and we were running low. I scored 4 bottles for $5.98… not too shabby.
Im kicking myself now! For some reason I don’t have this coupon. 🙁 I just went through my pile from the paper and it isnt there. Oh well still not a bad deal with the store sale. Just going to have to see if i can find a coupon to make it a little cheaper.

Did not work in Orlando. My cashier said you can’t use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale item. BUMMER!!!!
The cashier called the manager and he said that when there’s a BOGO you can’t use a BOGO Q. This was in Indy.

I tried the deal at my local WAGs (Gastonia, NC) and the manager on duty told me a compnay e-mail had goen out recently and they could no longer honor bogo coupons on bogo deals, but they could give the bogo items at 1/2 off. i told him nevermind, I didnt need the detergent that bad. Hope this helps other coupon clippers in my area.
Yes. I am in CA. I use the BOGO coupon with BOGO store deal. They only take half price of the first item and the second item is free. So, I paid around $3.50/2.
It wasn’t bad, but it would be better if it’s FREE.
I did it at mine. Cashier had some questions, I explained the coupon was for the one I was buying. It went through no problem.
It worked for me!!! I paid 48 cents for tax and that’s it. I really think it’s all in who you get to check you out.

Purex BOGO Free worked for me. The register did beep, but was only to prompt the cashier to enter the price. Awesome DEAL!!!!! Love when I get stuff for FREE! Thanks for the tip Collin! I shared your website today at target with a couple other fellow “coupon clippers”. They were amazed at my binder and I told them about your site. Didn’t work at my store. They weren’t even ringing up BOGO 🙁 So the Manager said he’d ring them up for 2.99/3.00 and I’d get $3.00 for 2 🙁 I’ll try another Wags tomorrow,

Worked in Statesville, NC. No problems – they just entered the price of the one not free and that was it. Great deal.
I live in Chattanooga TN and since it works sometimes for me and the other times I look like an totally idot; I don’t fool with Walgreens anymore. I go to rite aid, there cpn policy is posted on there web site and you can carry that with u, so there for the policy is always the same. I don’t like going to Walgreens since they can never tell u straight up what they can and can not do. It is not worth my time. I recomment Rite Aid.
I just moved to chattanooga recently and noticed the same thing about the walgreens here. I came from an area in Va that was really friendly and it just annoys me how these walgreens employees act.
Yay, it worked like a charm at 2 of my Wags in Vancouver, Wa! I actually went to two seperate stores, as to not wipe out their stock. Niether cashier said anything, except for commenting on what a great deal it was. I was a little nervous, lol, as this detergent was very important to me. I got 6 bottles at the first store and 6 at the second. I paid $1.48 each time, for tax. Aparently they charge tax, only on the item that was free due to the coupon. I had been curious about that. It does make sence. I’m glad about that cause; $3.00 is so much better than $6.00 🙂 I also got some of the Nivea, used 99 cent Wags coupon and the B1G1 coupons…yippie! I love the passion fruit gloss one.

which locations did you go to? I went to the Mill Plain one and the 4th Plain in Orchards, and mine didn’t ring up… I didn’t pay any attention, until I got into the car, and saw that I paid $5.99 for two, then got to the other two free. Too tired to argue about it, I went home. I couldn’t find any 50 oz. size bottles. 🙁

It is on a BOGO sale in Utah but at the wags in St. George they said that they will not except the coupons because it is coupon fraud and they were very rude!!! I’m sooooo done with walgreens
It worked well in O Fallon Mo at a few stores, didn’t work at one. I went to several to not wipe out the supply since I had 7 coupons. Thank you so much, it was so exciting to me because I use the free and clear kind for washing my baby’s cloth diapers!

I also got 6 bottles for free with 6 boxes of kleenes, cost me alittle over 7$ and got the 3 RR so really only 4$ sweet , hubby said the same thing since I still have 10 bottles of ALL , hey we’re a family of 8 really that might last us a coupole of months…… HAHAHAHAH

I went to the Wags on 136th and Mill Plain, and then the one on 164th and 20th ( I think!), it’s the one on 164th just a little south of Mill Plain on the east side of 164th. Hope that made sense. I usually go to the one on 136th and Mill Plain because that one is closer to my house. But, like I said, I didn’t want to clear their shelves. I like the one I usually go to. I have never had any problems with coupons there, knock on wood! I like the young guy, Doug, and also Celeste that works at the cosmetics counter. I like all of them actually.
The second Wags I went to…I go there sometimes, I’ve never had any probs there either. Tonight I got a cute, thin, young girl (early 20’s?) with medium/long light brown hair, I didn’t catch her name, but I did notice her name tag said she is an assistant manager. She was nice.

I went and there were none on the shelves. Celeste checked in the back and found 4 and they rang up fine and used the coupons. She is so helpful and kind. Love her!!! I did try another one first in Clackamas,OR and the manager pretty much accused me of coupon fraud. He wouldn’t budge and wasn’t pleasant at all. Never going to that WAGS.
Angela, you’re welcome. Yes, Celeste is great, very sweet! I went back to the one on 136th and Mill Plain a couple days ago now, for some candy deals and I had terrible luck! The people I dealt with wouldn’t even let me use WAGS and Manu. coupons together! Grr…I wish they had a coupon policy I could carry with me! Plus the first woman that was “helping” me got all agitated that I was even wanting to use a total of 7 coupons. When it wasn’t working for her, she said she would have to void all of it and start over. She started pulling all the candy out of the bag and slamming it on the counter. Then another employee came over and was of no help either. Geese, don’t they learn how to do coupons when they get the job? I ended up leaving without making a purchase. I was so pissed, but tried not to show it, ya know…I want to shop there, just not with those two “helping” me!

I used 2 BOGO Q’s yesterday at Walmart-
Worked for me in WI! At first the cashier said I couldn’t, but then I explained that it’s basically just combining a sale price with a manufacturer’s coupon. I did what the coupon said, bought one bottle of Purex! So she did it and all I had to pay was the tax!
ok i did it too. I went to the walgreens in Mauldin, sc on butler road I got 6 bottles for free and payed tax. a friend was with me and had her coupons too and she got 6 and was told after i went to another cashier that what she was doing was coupon fraud and that it is stealing. I had already paid and was waiting for her. the manager came over to the register and told us that we were stealing from the store and that we could not do it. I told him that i just paid at the other register and the coupons worked. he said that i will let you go this time but you can get in trouble for that. so we went to another walgreens and they said that the manager was lying. I felt bad cause i thought i was doing something wrong. am i? is it coupon fraud or not?
I am sorry that you had that experience. Some managers are so excited about customers scoring great deals…others ..not so much. However, when I called ahead to Walgreens the lady told that the manufacturer pays them in the end so it’d be fine. When I got there the manager seemed annoyed to give me the deal. I don’t understand it but as long you go in there in the knowledge that you are doing the right thing and can tactfully tell them so, it should be fine. Def. call ahead as well.:)

2 bottles for just tax, then price matched at target for ALL deal. 4 detergents for about 2 dollars! wow! so,i’m assuming you all purchase many newspapers to get these 6 bottle and 10 bottle deals right??
yes I usually purchase 4 newspapers. but since the coupon was a bogo i had four coupons and i got 8 bottles for free. Good thing too cause i only had 2 bottles of all at home.
My local Walgreens sucks at coupons. Even their own RR coupons!! They can’t ever get them to scan, and they end up having every employee in the store (which is usually about 4 or 5) and they all just throw their hands up and say “sorry” and they won’t do it.

This worked for me in Southwest Ohio. At first, the cashier said they couldn’t do it but called the manager to check. The manager said no, but 30 seconds later ran up from the back and okay’d it. She said she was wrong and they could do it – but a manager had to override it for it to work.
people should really stop buying so many. like 8 bottles. IT IS SELFISH. there wont be any for the rest of us. maybe thats why cashiers or managers get angry when people use coupons. try to limit yourself. just saying
I do not agree – Yes, I hate it when the shelves are empty. But, Cashiers should and managers should be thrilled at the sales! Its high slaes that keep the stores open and their jobs intact. The amangers should make sure they stock up and place an advance order tokeep the shelves full – it is not the customers fault for buying prodcuts – that is the point of stores and coupons in the first place, you know.
Over a year ago, I contacted a the Walgreens district manager about this BOGO question. If Walgreens offers a BOGO in their ad and then you have a BOGO, it is completely ethical to use both their promotional and the coupon.
They will get reimbursed for both promotionals. I have had to reinforce this with some managers at some store, but I have been willing to go back when denied a sale based on my lengthy discussion with a district manager.
The free and clear kind also rang up BOGO even though it is not marked on the shelf that way. This is a great donation item too!!
Its really uncalled for to call it selfish. I’d call it being prepared and prompt.

Ok, I actually have a ton of these coupons, but I am not qutie sure how it is supposed to work. Do I go to the register with 4 bottles and 2 coupons? And then in the end pay $6 for all 4? How do you just end up paying tax only?
Basically the Wags sale gives you one free and the MFR coupon gives you one free (Wags will get reimbursed for this) and you just have to pay tax!
So, I buy the one for $6, then I get one free from the sale and one free from my coupon? 3 for $6?
Buy 2 at $5.99 = $11.98
One free with Wags BOGO sale (register should do this automatically) = -$5.99
Use BOGO free coupon from paper = -$5.99
Final price = Free + tax
However, this is where Collin says “your mileage may vary”, because even though it is completely normal and okay to use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale, some cashiers get weird and won’t let you walk away with two for “free”. Which is silly because they get reimbursed from the manufacturer – so a coupon is basically like cash. HTH
