No, and we have a brand new ( opened in the past few weeks) Super Wal-Mart in Bakersfield CA and you’d think that we might get something like that. All we did get was a full color ad in the mail saying the new store was now opened. Just FYI, we have at least three other Wal-Marts in town.

I am in searcy, ar and I have not got one. I don’t think they will sent us ones because all we have is walmart so they don’t have to fight for thier biz.
I wonder if this is a response to this week’s Kmart double coupon days? While I can’t imagine it really hurting WM too much nationwide, I’ve already been in Kmart twice this week, and did the P&G “spend $25 get a $10 MC” deal today. Maybe WM is trying to send out some love to keep buyers coming to them! The timing seems a little too coincidental.

I’m in the Dallas, TX area and received mine a few days ago. I was going to do a post about it, but I didn’t know if it was to a large group of people or not because mine has directions to use it at only one particular store (I probably have 10 within 5 miles of me! ;)) so I figured it was just a promo for the new store.
So you may want to make sure you shop at the right Walmart if you have multiples like I do.
Got one in Pittsburgh, PA
I got one a few months ago (Central PA) and it was completely legit. I did call to activate it, and I used it the next week at my local Walmart with no problems. The checkout gal told me that some people weren’t activating them first, and then the cards can’t be used till the customers take them home and make the activation call. But it’s all automated – I didn’t have to speak to a live person or anything.
So yeah, go for it! 🙂

i didn’t get one but i wanted to say i had a wonderful experience at walmart last night, which I know can be rare. I”m not a walmart hater, I worked there for 5 years in the 90s and they were good to me as a company, just not my favorite place to shop. Anyway, last night…i was using self check out (they only had 1 cashier and a line near closing) it took my 1st 7 coupons for snuggle, but wouldn’t accept the others, then glitched up…the gal came over….read the coupon..and said one per purchase per item, whichi does state…but she was soo soo nice and said no biggy i’ll open up a register and ring you out individually…so she did.
