I will never order from Snapfish again since they cancelled our coasters without even having the decency of emailing us. They just did it and hoped we wouldn’t notice.
This is after my being a loyal customer and actually spending money with them over the years, not just getting free things.

They canceled mine for the coasters too. I got an email saying that it was a promotion that was “illegally” spread through blogs to people not meant to get it. Very saddening. So right now I’m leery about using them, they credited my account with 1 photo card, then I told them I wanted an item of comparable value, they gave me photo stamps, then I went to use them for Easter and they told me that they took away that credit, because they felt that since it was an illegal promotion, that they cannot be giving away an item of more value, so I would only get 1 photo card. Needless to say, I dont use them much now. I just have not had good experiences with them.

Lol, I came on here to post that I can’t upload the photos and to ask for help. I see I’m not the only one having issues.
I went back on to see if I could just make a photo book with the photos I already had uploaded (I’ve already made a book over a month ago with the photos on there, but hey, for free I can send it to a relative) and now their site is down.
I made my entire book and went to final step and then the website stopped responding..

BEWARE!!!! I was just trying to upload my pics on snapfish and it gave my computer a virus-screen went black and I had to shut down. When I opened back up all my cookies, saved, everything has been deleted. Not sure what damage has been done yet. I ALWAYS have problems with snapfish but this is scary. It isn’t worth the freebie.
I was in the middle of uploading and I also got the error message, bummed out I was making a mothers day one for my mom and just spent like a half hour trying to pick pictures for it! Now I have to go back through and pick them again….
Same problem here……not worth my time….will remember this in the future! Seems like a Cheesy site.

I have one of these flip books and I wouldn’t even pay shipping, it’s only a 5 page book!
I just finished my flip book – had 15 pages, and shipped it my MIL in Canada for $3… now after reading the above comments, we’ll see if it actually ships! Hope I didn’t waste my time – I should be sleeping (it’s almost 2am in AK!)

Not really a “book.” They print regular photos, add a plastic cover, and bind it with a plastic coil.
I know this doesn’t help some people…but I noticed that it automatically picked a 4×6 album for you — you have to make sure you change it to a 5×7 to make the coupon work. I use snapfish all the time, so my pictures are automatically loaded when I download my pic’s to my computer, so it was easier for me, but I’ve had great luck with them. I got the 10 page book for $1.99 shipping.
I tried last night & got the same maintenance message. I then tried again going using the link that takes you straight to the flip book. Again, it did not work. I read on the comments that it works on the 5 x 7 & finally it did! Just $2.15 for 25 pages 🙂

Wow, I am already a fan of snapfish, but this was a great catch. Made a flipbook for my husband as a gift. I was able to add 45 5×7 pictures to the flipbook and only paid $2.13 while saving over $30.

Ya, mine has been shipped and is on it way. It couldn’t have been anymore perfect with timing. It will be here before my husband is deployed over seas for six months. This way he can have some pics of the family to take with him.

Your problems all seen to be very different than mine…. I can’t even get into the site. Every time I type in my info it takes me to the Walmart site!

I was one of the people who couldn’t do it last night due to so many issues, but it worked now. YEY! I am a subscriber to All You Magazine (after all the awesome deals posted on it here from All You, I just had to subscribe… I share it with my mom).
I just ordered mine at 11:07 AM MT. I had 23 pages and paid $1.99. I would recommend only having horizontal pictures. I had a few vertical ones and tried to rotate them but it still made it sideways just facing the other direction. It didn’t allow to crop while making the book.
I had the same problem… but I found if I added a caption, it changed the photo to be facing the same way (horizontal)
Good grief, I can’t believe all the negativity. This is why I don’t often read the comments, just stick with reading the deals. It’s a FREE book people!

Thanks! I nearly forgot about this. I just ordered a book of our photos from the Grand Canyon. I have a great 8×8 Shutterfly book with those photos in it (free with free shipping, woot!) but that is too big and bulky to carry with me so this will be great to show friends. 🙂
Also, for what its worth, I’ve had great luck with Snapfish promotions. I received my coasters from the last promo as well as the dog leash that others had canceled. Then, they put a free mug in my account saying that they were sorry the leash was unavailable. I had already received my leash but the mug credit is still there. I’m thinking DH needs a new mug for Father’s Day!

Yay, what an awesome deal! I got 28 pages & only paid the $1.99 shipping. And, for the naysayers; no these aren’t super-high quality photos, but they are wonderful books and Snapfish has a lot of fun options (from designer covers to adding captions). I ordered a smaller one of these a few months ago, and was quite pleased with how it turned out. So, I’m very excited to get this one (will be a Father’s Day present for the hubby), and will be on the lookout for more deals like this in the future!
