I was there yesterday, I didnt get the Lysol coupon but I’m heading back today to try my card again. Some people have said that if can scan your card twice and get different offers, so we’ll see. When I was there yesterday I did get FREE Fig Newtons, 6 roll pack of Scott papertowels for 3.99, 2 .50 oreos, 2 .50 chips ahoy, wipes for 2.00 a tub (I didnt get the Huggies coupon either but I thought 2.00 was a good price plus I got them free with ECB), a Schick razor for .99 (after ECB), 2 free trial sized Degree deodorants, and the awesome CVS sunscreen deal! I felt SO successful, although this was my firs time doing the ECB scenario in 2 transactions to use them up, and I was literally SHAKING, LoL!
isn’t that funny? i shake sometimes too, don’t know why this couponing thing is making me so nervous. It’s not like I do something illegal, i guess it’s just anxiety since i’ve been denied so many time LOL
I feel weird sometimes because I have always been programmed to believe there is no such thing as a free lunch!
So when I go to a store and actually score free products, then I’m thinking someone is going to follow me out of the store and say “Give it Back!”
I know I just had the wrong attitude about coupons all these years.
I actually went yesterday to recycle my newspapers and picked out an insert (from the recycle dumpster) that had a few coupons cut out of it. There were still many coupons, but it was obvious the person was being very choosy, as in “I’m only clipping this-or-that coupon because that’s the brand I buy.” This is how I used to think. Literally, making a list of things to buy and hoping I could find coupons to match.
Now I will not buy something without a coupon (except produce and milk).
I believe most things are not free however not everything cost you money. You paid for that item with your time and effort.
I shake, too. I don’t know why. I guess the couponing thing still feels a little like stealing 🙂
I shake too. Sometimes I get nervous because I worry about getting harassed by the cashiers/managers even though I’m nice. I HATE confontations

Ditto on the shaking! It is getting a little better though. I know if a manager/cashier got really rude with me – I’d let it bother me for days. I Just have to get over that fear 🙂
I get nervous too, especially if I have a lot of coupons or a big order with deals. I have had a few confrontations and I usually back down. I have learned from this site though that it is okay to use coupons and I am not going anyting wrong!
I know what you mean about the shaking. Last Friday i went ot Wal-mart and i used 29 coupons ( i saved $56 and change) and i used sales papers from krogers and target. Well i had so many coupons that the register needed csm to okay. It was like i was doing something wrong all though they were legit coupons. The cashier said she never had that happen before. I hope that never happens again.
i dont know where this will post but this is in response to having the manager ok the coupons at walmart. in their coupon policy it states that if 40 or more coupons are used in one transaction that it will need manager approval, so i dont know why they needed it for only 29 but maybe with the price adjustments that you did, it red flagged it. you didnt do anything wrong. i have used over 40 twice and had to have manager approval. no big deal.
I went yesterday and didn’t get the Lysol q but I got $5/$40 purchase. So I want to try getting 2 DVD BOGO, 2 fig newts 2 wheat thins and one lysol – the total before any sales is over $40 so I’m hoping for the free lysol another way
Target has a $1.00 off store coupon for it, then the MC $5.00 off, on sale this week for 9.99, and I had a free $5.00 gift card from a previous couponing deal, so I just got mine for free today!

I’m in Nothern, VA. I scan my card 2/3 times until the kiosk reads “check back tomorrow” not the actual wording but it’s something like that. This week I got $5 off Lysol kit, free Absolutely Divine Chocolate bar, $1 off band-aid brand, $3 off two snickers, m&m’s or dove, $1.50 Degree Adrenaline and many more. Last week, I used my $1 off any CVS paper product and loaded up on toliet tissue and paper towles ~ that’s if I can keep my daughter out of my stockpile 🙂

Hey I’m in Manassas too… which CVS’s do you guys go to most? I seem to have good luck with the cashiers at the Liberia store, and the one by Five Guys on Old Bridge Rd is OK but sometimes the older lady there during the day gives you the hairy eyeball. I’ve also tried the one near Old Town Manassas (by the only Rite Aid nearby) is also accomodating. The people in that Rite Aid are awesome though! They are eager to get you your deal and congratulate you on how much you save.
I would love that! I’ve been on Meetup.com looking for “Coupon Groups” no luck for Manassas.
I have great success saving at CVS, Rite Aid and occasionally Walgreens.

It’s a separate Kiosk, located somewhere in the store, usually with a big red sign above it. Looks like a price checker. HTH

Still patiently waiting for the Brand New CVS that is less than a mile from my house to open up. They said April 2010, but it’s not looking good. There is nothing even in the store yet. We are also getting a Sheetz. Woohoo, my little town is growing up. We just got McDonalds last year!

Sheetz is pure HEAVEN. Ever been to a Wawa? They ripped off Sheetz pretty much. They’re ‘gas’ stations but SO SO SO much more. Their food is amazing and they sell so much stuff. The Sheetz family is from my home town where their stores originated, Altoona Pennsylvania. But now they’re running up and down the east coast!
I went to cvs and got 2 Q for $3 off any L’OREAL MOISTURIZING PRODUCTS. Use those to buy the shampoo and conditioner that were $2.99 each this week. Still didn’t get the coupon for wipes and lysol. Im in Pennsylvania.
I wonder if the coupons print by regions. I am also in PA and got $1/3 snacks and the moisturizing. Have not gotten huggies either.

I went to cvs and got 2 Q for $3 off any L’OREAL MOISTURIZER. I wonder if I could use these on the shampoo, too or of it HAS to be a moisturizer since mine didn’t say MOISTURIZING PRODUCTS. Just a thought….

I went yesterday and got two king sized snickers, 3 herseys dark chocolate bars, the lysol no touch soap dispenser, 2 nivea body washes, 2 nivea chapsticks, and a case of ice mountain water all for $4.22 and I got 5 ecb back, so I made .78 cents…. whee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m going to have to make a trip there today and see if I get the coupon!! I bought 2 of these when they were on sale at Target and my Mom loved them so much that I gave them to her, now I want one!! I scanned at two different stores on Monday and got $1 off three bags of Gold Empblem Candy, $3 on any Loreal Moisturizer the first time and $2 off any $6 purchase of gift wrap, $3 off two snickers, m&ms or dove bags, $5 off of $40, and $25 gift card with new or transferred prescription.
Got the same exact thing on Monday!
I got those same ones the other day. Im hoping to come across the wipes and lysol one soon. I had trouble finding the Lysol pump too. Took the last one at one store, and went to a larger 24hr one at about 2300 Sat and they had several. Wish I had more than 2 coupons:(( I could use these all over my house. Now to have the refills go on sale!!!!!
I got an Absolutely Divine chocolate bar one last week! Then I went to 2 other CVS’s on other days and it didn’t give coupons, just said check back. I think they are reaching a weekly limit ot how many will print now.
I went yesterday. I already had the wipes print out and I ended up getting 4 other coupons one was $5 on $40 the rest were crap I won’t use. I should have thought to scan my other cards! (yes I have 3 as well, one is mine, one is my husbands and one is my moms).
I have 2 right now but I can always get more! 🙂

This may be a problem with my store only, but I would check you store. I went to get the Lysol this afternoon and it wrang up B1G1 at 9.99. I used 2 5/1 coupons and got both free. I didn’t receive the CVS crt.
I have heard that some cards are just lucky. Mine, however, is not. I’m getting L’Oreal coupons, but that’s about it. Oh well.
Iheartcvc.com gives a list of what coupons might print out at the kiosk each week and what the last two are that will print in a day and are coupons that should print for everyone. She suggests you keep scanning until you get these and they will expire one week from the day they are printed – this week, 04/25 – 05/01, the last two are

Did you scan your card 4 times in the same store, same machine? My store never let me scan more than once/day.
Just got back and i think i can say i am a cvs fan now. I got 2 Irish body wash reg. 2.99, 1 pro clinical toothpaste reg. 3.99 and 1 razor reg. 8.99. After coupons and my ecb from last week I only paid 3.64!!!!!!! Saved over 22.00. and got back 10.00 worth of ecb for next week. I just started with the deals last week and already am a fan.
RANDOM QUESTION! In my grocery stores ad in the mail, there was a paper with Kraft food coupons. On the coupon where it normally says “manufactor coupon” it says “in-ad” coupon. So does that mean I can only use it at that store the paper of coupons was laying in? It doesn’t mention the store anywhere on the paper…
from what i know and i could be wrong, “in ad” means like a store coupon. So you have to use it for that store.

I bought one of these at Target with the 3/28 coupon and we LOVE it! I love not having to touch the soap bottle. I just bought my first replacement bottle for $4 didn’t care it’s worth not touching.
My CVS has been having really stinky coupons lately–I miss my free toilet paper, paper towels, hair stuff, and lotion! 🙁
Normally you can only use 1 per extracare card. If you can get two to print out you may need a manager to approve using both. Good luck and I love my lysol soap dispenser even though it goes through batteries kinda quick.

My DH NEVER lets me forget to scan my card! We use ours at Publix! whenever like, last week there was a $/$$ we use it at publix with all our other coups- I LOVE publix 🙂 That being said,,,, No 5/1 coup for the lysol soap today- will keep checking tho
I went to CVS and got 5 coupons — L’Oreal Moisturizer, Gold Emblem candy — nothing exciting, and no Lysol coupon. I only scanned once. Ann Arbor, Michigan’s CVS on Stadium Blvd.
Not exactly about getting this free but can someone explain the whole point of the product? Yeah automatic dispensing is awesome but how does this help with germs? You wash your hands to get rid of germs right? Say you use the bathroom or do something else ‘germy’ and want to wash your hands. You turn on the water, pump the soap into your hands, lather, rinse, then turn off the faucet. The dirty faucet that was just touched with your ‘germy’ hands. Not the ‘germy’ soap dispenser. Shouldn’t we be wanting automatic faucets like some restaurants or businesses have? I think this would better help with germs. I for one do not touch the soap dispenser pump after already washing my hands so I don’t see the need for a hands-free soap dispenser.

Agreed !! I looked into them at The Home Depot but the one for the kitchen is about $400 so I have to decide how much I do not like germs and the only ones I found for the bathrooms were more and they were in the commercial catalog . I will not be getting one just yet but until then happy washing everyone !

I went to Walgreens some weeks ago and bought my Lysol for $1.00. Not free but super cheap…Satisfaction for me.
I bought one at target a few days ago with the $5 off and a $2 of target. I paid 2.99, which I didn’t think was bad, but I HATE it. First off, it has a mind of its own and dumps soap by itself. Second, it dumps way too much soap when you do use it. I have had it for 3 days and the soap is almost gone. Ugh… I was really looking forward to this, but it was definitely too good to be true for me.
