  2. Lisa

Wow! I’m not even sure what you do with virgin coconut oil, but I’m excited about this freebie! 🙂

    • Mandy

      Thanks! What a great freebie!

      This is from the website:
      4. How does one use Coconut Oil?

There are many ways to use coconut oil and incorporate it into one’s diet. Since it is a stable cooking oil, one can simply replace unhealthy oils in their diet with coconut oil. Since it is a solid most of the time at room temperature or when refrigerated, it can be a butter or margarine substitute for spreads or for baking. Any recipe calling for butter, margarine, or any other oil can be substituted for coconut oil. It is popularly mixed in with “smoothies.” Many people do eat it simply by the spoon full. If you refrigerate or freeze Virgin Coconut Oils the taste changes completely, and some describe it like a “candy” or “white chocolate.” Some people fill up ice cube trays with coconut oil and then store them in the freezer. Some people use it as a spread, and a lot of people put it into their coffee or tea. There are also hundreds of FREE recipes here that have been submitted by our customers over the years.

you can cook with it, and its supposed to be very healthy, seems like i ran across some recipes awhile back, if i find them ill post a few…
thanks soooo much collin! awesome freebie!! yeeee!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I actually use it in my hair and on my skin as well. There are tons of benefits to coconut oil..

        • SavinginLA

Actually, since it solidifies easily, it has more fat and should be used in very limited quantities. But if you warm it, apply to your hair and wash it off, it keeps your hair very shiny looking. I would not use it for cooking in big amounts. It’s not very heart healthy.

    • Betsy

Coconut oil is YUMMY to fry breads with and to use in place of shortening in recipes and I also LOVE to cook popcorn with it. It has a very nice taste.

      • Kayla

We use a different brand but none the less I was happy I checked h2s this morning. I’ve spent a lot of money on health foods at WF’s. This was the best deal I’ve gotten from this website!

EVCO (this product is not) is great for your skin and can help clear acne. It’s amazing in stir fries, especially if you added pineapple!

  3. Amanda

Thanks, It Worked For Me. Now I have to read up on what to actually do with it lol 🙂

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much!! I just got my confirmation email 🙂 🙂

  5. Amy Hart

    Awesome:) Thank you!

  6. Tiffany

This couldn’t have been more perfect timing…..I almost bought some yesterday because I had heard great things about it…glad i didn’t!

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I LOVE coconut oil, this is an amazing freebie! I use it in place of any other oil for cooking or marinating. It’s actually more stable in cooking than corn/vegetable oil, doesn’t burn as easily, and MUCH MUCH better for your health. I use it also to rub all over a roasting chicken and add any poultry seasoning on top, bake it, so delicious! Coconut oil is SO expensive though, this is an amazing treat, thanks!

  8. Mery

You cook with it and supposedly is healthier than any other oil.

  9. teresa longstreet

worked for me too. thanks for the info on how to use it.

  20. Noel

did anyone else have to put there name and info where it says credit card?

    • Carrie

No i just had to put shipping address was same as billing address, but didn’t put any credit card info in.

  21. JoR

sorry guys, it’s not so healthy; at least not healthier than other oils. coconut oil is high in “bad” saturated fats = bad for your heart!!!

    • JoR

      but free is free 😉

    • Bethany Rohdy

No it’s not. Do some research.

      • Tiffany

unrefined and cold pressed – extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, sesame oil, grapeseed oils are all good for us. We should limit our consumption of the highly refined and probably rancid oils we buy in the supermarket (I do buy and use them too….I’m guilty) – olive oil prices have come way down and I can usually get a decent bottle of first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil for under $5 (sometimes under $4 and I’ve gotten some free thanks to Star) – but the unrefined and organic oils are spendy. This is a great deal, but I cant get it to go through! The site must be slammed! Even many of the “healthy” oils that I find in the health food sections are refined. I dont get too crazy about it all – we’ve got to live and everything in moderation is a good motto – but when I can get a good deal on quality, healthy items – it is very exciting!

  22. Lori

what did you put in for billing info (since it’s free)?

    • Regina

I left the billing info blank and had no problems.

  23. Melissa

  45. Janice

Its not working for me. Keeps coming up “server error” 🙁

  46. Maria

I got mine! Thanks Collin! I think what one reader was thinking about was the hydroginated coconut oil. That is not good for you.

  47. Jloudner

Keep trying the site is just slow – it took me almost 11 minutes and three different times of opening a new tab but it did work.

  48. Sabine

I am excited about this product, but anything that is solid at room temp is not that good for you.

    • BrandyK

Have you done any research on coconut oil and coconut products, or is this a generalization? Because coconut is extremely heart healthy and very VERY good for you. Way better than any other oil. Please research before making broad generalizations.

    • Celina

I think you’d be surprised at all the amazing benefits of coconut oil!

  49. sarah

It told me the product was gone…

  50. Anon
