If your target doesn’t have it on clearance Walgreens has an in ad coupon for $3 combine that with the $2 coupon and it’s only 99cents.
How come the rebate amount is so high? How much does this usually cost?
I’ve had 2 rebates now come back for a lesser amount because I used coupons and RR’s of some sort. Now granted I did fight it back and received my money, but it shouldn’t happen. I feel like I need to buy more items to show that I actually paid more than I’m getting back 🙁
My coupon is not $2 off, its $1 off.

there are 2 coupons one for $1 and one for $2 off so just keep looking

no form needed just write your name and address on a piece of paper and put it in with your reciept.
Oh awesome! I went to Target Sunday and first only saw 1 by its lonely self. Then I ask the pharmacy peps and at the same time I did, I was looking around and BAM! The mother load!!! Got 2 for .24c (tax in MI!!)!! There was like 8 total left! Thought for sure this woulda been gone by yesterday! How cool is that! Then ya do this $10 rebate and its fricken’ awesome!. Hope it works, if not still!!!! 2 for litterly free!

Does anyone have the original form? Does it say anything about PO Box’s will not be accepted? A lot of these rebates do not allow you to submit if you only have a PO box. I am just wondering if I should have it mailed to my mom’s house or not…

Just got back from Target, with no beeps! I even used the $4/2 Nivea Body coupon on a two pack of Men’s body wash/shampoo on clearance for $3.84 so I got those two for free as well. Love freebies! I am hoping it is ok to just write the UPC on the receipt because I could not get the UPC off the bottle without tearing it to pieces 😛
I haven’t tried it yet, but scratching labels and then rinsing the package allows me to remove them sometimes will not too much ripping.
I was too lazy to go to target so i got mine at walgreens for 0.99……ohh yes i know it’s only a $9 moneymaker….what a bummer 😉

So how does it work for the company to verify that you bought the correct product when the UPC code on the Target receipt doesn’t match the actual UPC code on the bottle itself? (The UPC code on the receipt does match the code on the Target clearance price tag, just not the actual bottle UPC.)
Hmmm….I was wondering the same thing, I am also doing the SC Johnson $5 rebate and had a Target clearance item I was hoping to include but same thing the receipt UPC is for the clearance sticker and not the items UPC from the back. Has anyone had this be a problem in the past??? Please help!
yeah I’m wondering how they will know I purchased the Whitening, because the Target receipt just shows up as “Listerine” at $1.98….. no mention of “whitening” on the receipt.
They should know since they’ll have the upc.
Does this rebate have purchase dates? I was just wondering because I snagged some rembrandt toothpaste at Walgreens the other week for my daughter at a really awesome price with using Walgreens and Manufacturers coupons. Is it for any rembrandt product?
I got mine at Target today, but the cashier looked and looked at the coupons before marking them down to 1.98. She seemed to really resent me using coupons on a clearance item! 🙁 Here is a hint for getting the UPC code off – I put a wide piece of tape across the code and then lifted it off attached to the piece of tape.
I don’t usually do rebates, bc I’m horrible at remembering to keep receipts and I’m the WORST at getting UPCs off of products w/o tearing them to shreds, but I’m trying this and I hope it works! 🙂 I just sent it off!
Thats where you fail. Ya gotta have a system/plan. Do it to the T. My freinds dont even bother cuz they forget to read the small print and then complain they didnt get a rebate. They probally did but ya know it takes sometimes a very long time to get them and then ya forget what it was for. Get it, follow instructions to the T, and mail it out ASAP! If not yeah you might forget to do it like I did most recently on a Menards deal. Uuugh. Didnt follow the golden rules. LOL
It just says “upc code circled” doesn’t sound like we need to send in the actual UPC’s off the bottles.
Shoot, just to be safe, Id send og UPC and the receipt circled! A huge MM like this, yeah dont want to give them any reasons for NOT giving you the money right? Better be safe then sorry. IMO

I printed off 2 of the $2 off coupons and was able to get 2 bottles free in one transaction. Hopefully the rebate works for one! Either way–free is free!
I cut the UPC off using a box cutter lightly around it and was able to pull the top layer off just in case its needed:)
Wow went to Target with no hope of finding it and low and behold there it was, screaming, “Buy Me, I’m FREE, and I’m the last one here!” Hope the rebate works but if not, free mouthwash is cool too!
My Target was the same way today! The only bottle of whitening left on the endcap. Like it was meant just for me! Gotta love it! 🙂

Went out to get mine today. The first Target I went to said they would not accept the q because it was for more than the item was on clearance for and that they can not change the amount on a mq. I argued with her and she said that this was a rule from the AP?? I will never go to that Target again. I went to another one and the girl looked at it and did not know how to change the q amount but said that she was not going to worry about 2 cents!!! YEA. So finally got it AND YES I will be writing a letter to corporate.

Kathy, The cashiers make up their own rules because they are not trained on using coupoons. I have had this happen before at Target. So, I started taking in a copy of their coupon policy printed straight from their site. It says specifically what to do if the item is less than the coupon amount. I just get out the policy if there is a problem and ask for a manager. Today I even had a cashier tell me they don’t take internet coupons. Oops because target has their own web coupons.
Oh man, I’m sorry you guys had bad experiences at Target. I work there and I LOVE it when people come through my lane with loads of coupons, because then I can see what kind of deals I can get too! my only thought is that there has been ALOT of coupon fraud going on lately and they are just being cautious. Hope you have better experiences in the future!
Okay I was able to snag 4 bottles for free. Is that horrible?!?! I got one the other day no problem and then it occurred to me I might as well print out additional coupons if able and “purchase” more. I scored three in one transaction no prob. I am going to put one in the bag of extras I’m collecting for the local food pantry. Figure that’s something I can do now with all of these deals that I haven’t been able to do for a long while.
I’m wondering if anyone in the Boston area has been able to find this type of Listerine marked down. Mine had it for $4.98, but even with the $2 off coupon I didn’t buy it. Guess I should, because it will be free after I send in the rebate.

my local target was all out, I remember seeing them awhile back…bummer. But upon my trip to walmart (UGH) I found they had them for $4!! Not great, but not bad either!
My Target didn’t have the Listerine Whitening on clearance. They had TONS of the cool mint Listerine for $1.98 though (not helpful with the rebate).
It looks like Rite Aid also has a $3 rebate for purchasing listerine 6/6-6/12
so I am thinking about waiting until next week to purchase and use the $2 off coupon, submit the $3 rebate at Rite Aid and get the $10 pre-paid card

Wahoo!! I found a whole shelf full of them at my Target here in Indiana!! I had two Q’s so my mom got one and I got one and we’ll both submit for the rebate. My cashier was SUPER and wondered if I used Q’s alot and if they were worth the time…YES and YES!!! I told her about Hip2Save and how easy it was to get good deals because of all Collin’s hard work. I didn’t get mine, either. I emailed the company, response was they need me to call, wouldn’t discuss it over email! So I called. They ran out of cards. They are sending me a $6.00 Listerine Whitening coupon instead. I’m pretty mad about this, but they pointed out that the offer did say while supplies last. What a mess. Like I’ll ever use Listerine again. The number to call is 1-800-223-0182.
Called the Listerine number listed on their website. 800-222-0182. At first the gentleman offered a $6 coupon, but I kindly told him that would not be enough to cover the purchase price. I let him know I was disappointed. He put me on hold to see what else he could do. Ended up taking my information to send me a check for $8.00. Its not the $10 card, but I was pleased to receive something more than a coupon. He was very kind.
