I also switched the Act II popcorn for 2 of the school supplies at .29 each to bring the total to 25.01 and with two 4.00/2 Nivea coupons it brings the grand total to : 3.02!!!!
I used this coupon at Target yesterday and it rang it up as $2.99 off instead of $4 off. I think it was ringing it as a BOGO instead.
I bought two Reach toothbrushs using the BOGO coupon plus the $1 off MQ and I got TWO $1 UP rewards printed on my receipt, not one like the ad says!

buy 4 of the nivea and just use (2) of the $4/2 printables. If you follow the scenario exactly than your total out of pocket should be just a little over $2 plus tax!

I noticed this in the fine print of the oral care rebate offer “Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used).” Does that change the deal scenario?
No it shouldn’t. It usually says that for all of the other like offers and i have always used coupons.
If I did the Rembrandt deal in two separate transactions, will I get $2UP rewards each time? (I’m new to Rite Aid and don’t know if it has the same limits on number of times to do a deal like CVS)
I haven’t heard about the Rembrandt printing more than one but it MAY. Rite Aid will have limits starting this upcoming Sunday. Right now some things will give you more than 1 +UP reward and others won’t although you never know which ones because i think that they are just trying to figure out all of the “bugs” in the system.
Ok thanks, I think I’ll just add the spinbrush to reach the Oral Care rebate. (that’s what I needed it for – Rembrandt was a better deal b/c $3 off and $2 UP if it spit it back the second time. Already did Reach too so I needed one more to make that Oral Care rebate!)
Thanks for posting – I need to restock my toothpaste supply! This might be a stupid question, but can you use a Rite Aid gift card from a previous rebate to pay for the purchase and submit for the new rebate/gift card?
It’s not a stupid question…and Yes, you can use a Giftcard and will still qualify!
Yup! I use my RA gift cards all the time, and i haven’t had any problems submitting for rebates/gift cards… They don’t care how you pay for it!

I got 4 $1 Nivea, 1 $3 Colegate, 2 $1 Reach, and 1 $2 Rembrant for a total of $11 in Ups. Total spent was $4.66 Getting back $2.99 for the reach and almost hit the oral care.. My Rembrant was on clearance for $3.99 – use a $3 and a $1 for it to be free but just missed the oral care rebate by .03 cents. Will have to go back and buy another!
next week the crest will be $2.69 ( i think that was the price) with $2.69 SCR so you can always wait until next week to get that which should also qualify for the rebate.

I found it in the shaving aisle not the soap aisle.
I’m confused. The oral care rebate on the website states “Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used).” Does that mean your total has to come to that amount after the coupons? Can we still do this idea?
It usually says this for these types of deals but it SHOULD still work because it always has in the past.
You can substitute the popcorn and buy 2 packs of Rolaids, use the $4/2 Rolaid coupon and make another $2 🙂

No the Nivea doesn’t qualify for the Oral Care Rebate. It is just used as a “filler” to get you to the $25 mark that you need in order to use the $5 off of a $25 purchase coupon and also because it is a nice little Money maker.

You can also use the $4 off in-ad Q for Ace cold compresses as a MM. Just buy the 1 count cold compress for $1.29. I bought four today, used 4 coupons and used the overage for the Oral Care rebate.

I am just curious, what is an up reward and how can it be used or applied? I understand the S.C.R. system but the UP reward looks like something I am unaware of.
the up reward prints on the end of the receipt, like the cvs extracare bucks.

I didn’t say that quite right. What i want to know is if I can print like 5 of the same video value coupon and use them. I used to be able to do it, but last time I tried ( a few weeks ago) the cashier says they are now attatched to my Wellness card. I wondered if that is just limiting me to one per transaction, one per day, or one per month? Can anyone shed some light on this subject?
They are only supposed to be used once. I overheard my managers complaining about people trying to slip in multiples last time I was in RA.
the barcodes are serialized now so you can only use one per card AND one per Video values account.
So…even if another family member had their own video values account, I could not use one of their coupons with my wellness card if I had used the same coupon from my video values account already? It’s kind of silly if that’s the case since wellness cards are not limited to 1 per household like CVS extra care cards, so I guess hubby will just have to get his own card.
This is so great that I may just give Rite Aid another shot!
A question. With all those UP rewards, can you use more than one in a future transaction? I had gotten a while ago and it said something about only one per transaction. Is that true?
yes you can use as many as you want until your total is zero!
Make sure the up rewards do not eat into your tax. It will beep and then invalidate your coupon for a later time. I have heard if you use your up rewards before any man. coupons then they will go through and the man. coupons can eat into tax.
That is why this is even better than Wags RR’s you can use as many as you want! No beeps:)

Today I bought 4 nivea mens body washes and a colgate total=$2.45 with tax (I paid) I got back 7 UP rewards
I went back: bought 4 nivea mens body wash (2 $4.00 coupons), colgate total ($1.00 coupon), johnsons head to toe baby wash ($4 johnsons website $1 off), 2 BIG head and shoulders shampoos (BOGO coupon), Suave professionals conditioner (no coupon since I only bought 1) used $5 off $25 and I paid $0.99 including tax and used my ups earned in first transaction and got back 9 up rewards.
My friend wants me to use her coupons and do the same transaction #2. The plus is I get all the UP rewards AGAIN since I’m using my card!!!! LOVELY
what coupons you use for the head and shoulders or you just use your up + with the 5/25 like to do this transaction.

I rocked this scenario last night. Thanks, Amanda! I did it 2 times and got all my UP rewards. I did just the Colgate again in another scenario and didn’t get the reward, but the manager gave me cash back instead. :There’s no limit posted (yet, I think), so she said she’d just give me cash back. I found a clearance Rembrandt, but it didn’t print my reward. I didn’t say anything b/c I got it free anyway. as another filler, the Maybelline single eye shadows are $3.59, less the $2 VV coupon and $1 tear pad in the store, I only paid 59 cents. I actually paid less than that because my 10% ALL purchase (excluding sale items) kicked in!!! YAY!
OT- I found some awesome markdowns at my Kroger. Organic Soy formula for $4.12 (big canister), Fliptz for 71 cets, Reese’s and Hershey full size bars, 6 pack only 1.07!! I swapped out the popcorn for the Softsoap handsoap, since it was also $1 and have a .35/1 q from sundays paper. I figure with tax, it’ll be around $4.50ish. Keeping fingers crossed everything is in stock when I go later!!

Rite Aid has a short ad and a long ad, if you got the short ad then your sales are different. Rite Aid is not all that big here in Memphis so we frequently get the short ad (ugh) so that means not as many items on sale, or not as many +Up rewards. I ALWAYS double check my flyer before going because of that. Like last week the Zegrid was not on sale for us and there was no +Up reward on it either. I still did it because I needed it and still had the rebate form to complete so it was no biggie, but it made my deal not be a as much of money maker. Gee darn! I got paid a little less to shop! lol
HEY! I’m in Memphis too! I was disappointed about the Zegrid and Ace bandages, but oh, well. Hopefully the 2 Rite Aids that are left here will stay open!! I am loving their new program!

Quick question – I think this has been asked before but I can’t find the answer. I did the above deal, all worked fine. I would like to do another version of it – will I get the up rewards again for say rembrant, or is it like ECB where there is a limit on the car and it will only print a single one, even if you come back for multiple transactions? does anyone have trouble using a b1g1 coupon, and then a $ off coupon for 2 items? it seems like none of the stores around here will let me do it. they say the b1g1 you have to buy 2, so they wont let me use another q. 🙁
I find that when I give the $/1 item First..then the BOGO, I have no problem with using both coupons. The BOGO coupon WILL beep b/c its asking the cashier to enter the price. I’ve been using that combo at different stores (cvs, walgreens, target) all the time. But I hadn’t attempted to do it at RA yet, but it worked like a charm. I told the guy it was my 1st time using my Wellness card and VV’s and hope I didn’t screw up too much. He laughed and said lets see how ya do. Got everything I wanted and all the +Up rewards printed like they should have. The only downfall is on top of remembering ECBs & RRs, I have to keep track of +Up too! So I started keeping track on my desk calendar!!
You would need to buy 3 items to use a B1G1 Q and a $/2 coupon. You should be able to use a $/1 coupon with a B1G1 coupon for 2 items.
I have a question. If I buy just the Spinbrush sonic rechargeable by itself in 1 transaction, will I be allowed to use all 3 Q’s? The $5/25 RA, the $4 man q, and the $3 VV coupon? I want to do the deal above, and then use all the +up rewards from it, to finish paying for the Spinbrush. Is that possible? It would be like this

Anyone know if the new +UP rewards are “rolling”? For example, can you use the $2 +UP from Colgate on another Colgate toothpaste to generate another $2 +UP reward? I’m too chicken to try it and find that it doesn’t work.
I bought 5 colgate this week and only had to pay the $3 cash the first time and the rest just kept on paying with the $3 Up that prints out after each transaction.

The July Safeway coupon book has $1.50/2 coupons that could possibly be used instead of the B1G1. I haven’t tried it yet, but am planning on it later in the week.
I just used the Safeway coupon, but I bought the 2 toothbrushes and one of the .99 reach flosses, just to make sure the coupon worked, and it did.
I found a $2/1 “Rembrandt Whitening Toothpaste” in the 5/16 RP. Will this work since the $3/1 IP is no longer available?

I went in to try this deal, but the body was was still out of stock. So I replaced the 4 Nivea with 8 Rolaids. And I added 1 bottle of Lipton Tea ’cause I love it! My total oop including tax (which is 9.3% here!) was 5.87. Add in the rebate, gift card, and $7 UP and I think I did pretty good. Thanks for the scenario!
Went to RA today and they would not let me use a $4 Q for each $1.29 Ace. They did let me use one $4 Q for 2 of the $1.29 Ace. They showed me their coupon policy and it states that coupons are not to exceed the price of the product. They are to adjust the coupon down to match the price of the product. So not as much of a MM for me.
I bought 2 colgate toothpastes and only got one $3 +up reward. I don’t think the circular said limit one, what is up with that? I am new to Rite Aid!
