FREE Filet Mignon (8/13)?!
Did you know that tomorrow is national Filet Mignon Day?! In honor of this delicious day, head on over to the Chef’s Requested Foods Facebook page, “like” them, and then click on the signup tab. Every 5th person that registers tomorrow will snag a coupon for FREE Filet Mignon mailed to them (they will give away 2,010 coupons). I hate to say it, b/c I love free…but IMO these are not even worth eating free…just thought I would share in case anyone was wondering.
I agree with April. I don’t each much red meat but my husband is a big steak eater. He tried these and said they were very doctored up with all kinds of stuff and bacon wrapped. The end result was a very synthetic tasting steak, wrong texture, wrong taste. I think I will pass on this one but thanks for the information.
LOL I was going to say the same thing. These are so nasty and don’t even taste like real meat.
Funny, our family loves these little steaks! We BBQ them occasionally in the summer and they are delicious. 🙂 Tastes are so different!
NEVER TRIED THEM, BUT FOR FREE I WOULD LOVE TO TRY THEM.
Our family loved these filet minions. The portions are wonderful and we have fixed many different ways. I have had no problems. They come different ways and you do not have to buy the ones with bacon wrapped around the edges. 2 thumbs up!
I agree with those that like them. I even consider myself a huge steak lover. My husband and I both think that they really good (considering we got them for .58 ea after the $3 off coupon) and for free…totally worth it!
I tried them a while back with those $3 coupons they had. They lasted like pork with beef flavoring or something. And they were super tough!
Yay, this steak isn’t as good as regular filet but it’s good enough for cheap or free!
What store do you find them at? I still have the $3 coupon but haven’t been able to find them anywhere.

We’ve had these about 3 different times, and each time not so good. I’m passing on this one.
My husband and I really like those steaks. I only buy them when we have a $3 coupon. We usually splurge on organic beef tenderloins when they are on sale at Publix but sadly I cann’t tell the difference between them.
