Next week will be a dry run too as it is Labor Day weekend. I thought I was notified sometime during the middle of last week that there would be a Red Plum and it listed the content. Maybe I am mistaken or did anyone else get this notice.

There are McDonalds coupon inserts with a coupon for free a smoothie or frappe. At least here in Indy.
September 5 – no inserts?? Is that right? I’ve very new to couponing, but thought there were inserts in every Sunday paper. Do they really have some papers without any inserts sometimes? That is depressing 🙁
Yes, normally on holiday weekends there aren’t any inserts. The only exception is P&G. If the holiday falls on a weekend of no SS or RP, there usually will be a P&G. I know that happened 4th of July, the schedule said no inserts, but there was a P&G.
These are the next big holidays not to expect inserts –
Sept 5 (Labor Day), Nov 28 (Thanksgiving), Dec 19 (Christmas) & Dec 26 (New Years)
Yes, and sometimes they won’t have coupon inserts if your area paper does not purchase the coupon inserts or runs out of them or there is a malfunction ….
I am not sure which week had Stridex Pads coupons, but if you have one/some several Kroger stores have Stridex Pads on clearance for $1.79, which makes them only .79 cents. I found the deal in Crawfordsville and Lafayette Indiana.
I didn’t even get 1 coupon insert this week here in Wisconsin, was the 1 insert regional?
I’m in SoCal and didn’t get a single coupon insert, after buying 3 papers :- /
I’m near Lafayette and just got the page with the Discover Card ad (plus the usual store ads) but no coupons. Not sure if Wal-mart or the J&C were the problem, but I’m a little annoyed at having spent money on nothing!
Only 1 SS coupon insert in Wisconsin paper and it did not have John Frieda coupons. 🙁
