Did you know that Bed, Bath & Beyond accepts manufacturer’s coupons?! With that being said, check out this sweet deal that reader, Cassandra, was able to score at her local Bed, Bath & Beyond store!

Buy 1 Brita Slim Pitcher $9.99
Buy 1 Snuggie Varsity Style (on clearance) for $9.99
Total $19.98
Use the $5 off $15 store coupon (received in the mail)
Use the $7/1 Brita coupon (you would have needed to print this coupon yesterday as it is no longer available; if you didn’t snag this coupon yesterday, you can use the $5/1 coupon found here)
Use the $5/1 Snuggie Varsity blanket found here (use zip code 90210 and search under the Apparel category)
Final Cost $2.98 for both items!

*If you don’t have the $5/$15 Bed, Bath & Beyond coupon from the mail, you can sign up for the Bed, Bath & Beyond email newsletter and you’ll snag a coupon for 20% off one item in-store (this coupon is only for first-time email subscribers).

**Also keep in kind that you may not be able to find a Snuggie Varsity Blanket on clearance at your local store. In addition, the cashier/manager may not allow the use of the $5/$15 coupon and the manufacturer’s coupons so YMMV!

Have you snagged any great deals at your local Bed, Bath & Beyond store? If so, let us know!

(Thanks, Cassandra!)

You can also use 2- 20% off coupons on top of the $5 off of $20 🙂

    • Rose

Really? I tried once, and the cashier said I had to choose b/c the $5 takes off a discount per item just like the 20% and you can only use 1 discount per item.

      • Becky

The $5 off is off of your entire purchase (it’s $5 off of $20 I think) and the 20% off are off of each item (if u use as many 20% off as items u buy up tp 5 items/5 coupons. When I went a few weeks ago, they did the $5 off first, then scanned my 3- 20% off coupons. FYI if you bought anything and didn’t have your coupons with you, you can bring your receipt in with the coupons and they will adjust it for you! I love BBB 🙂

        • Rose

hmmm…I’ll have to try again then next time I go! TY for the info.

          • Crissy

I was told the last time I went that I could only use one or the other as well.

          • Nikki

same for me, one or the other not both, unless I bought more stuff then they would allow me to use both… fyi

  2. Brenda

    Great idea!!

Here’s another thought…I think this is what I will do:
    Buy 2 Brita slimline pitcher’s $9.99
    use (2) $7 coupons
use $5 off $15 store coupon
Final cost: $1 for 2 Brita slimline pitcher’s!

    • Lindsey

I tried this and they told me no, I couldnt use the $5 off coupon because my total was not $15! I was disappointed and left with my coupons!

      • Jodi

You can use both, but first give them the $5 off $15 THEN give them your manufacturer coupons. The cashier I had then actually entered my coupons as cash tendered!

  3. tina

I was thinking of using the 10/30 (BBB always takes their expired coupons), and get two brita pitchers and the snuggie, with the 10/30 my final cost will be …….well guess how much? .97 plus tax…. yipeeee… I just hope that they do have these items at my store… will be great gifts for the holidays.

  4. Rita@Chi-Town Cheapskate

Holy crap! Talk about being in the right place at the right time with the right coupons….!

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

this sounds like a good deal but it seems as it was pointed out that there are a lot of “if” factors (if the snuggle is on clearance). I am happy for the person who made such a great deal but I have to pass. I spent my coupons. I just got 2 Brita pitchers for $2.77 at Lowe’s. I was very happy with that and I got the Snuggly at CVS for a couple dollars last week. My daughter asked for one for Xmas. Happy deal hunting and happy shopping to all. I may not have done as good as this person did but I am thrilled with my purchases!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

PS–I went to WGs last night for a quick stop. I found the “expensive” candy on clearance. I got Russel Stover’s American Classic New York Cheesecake Ganache (truffle) for 50 cents along with Lindt candy for 75 cents. I got Trident White gum for 32 cent a pack and finally Twix peanut bars for 22 cents per bar. Sorry! I did clear the shelves. The candy is the kind that I would love to have for the holidays but never can afford. I did leave some of the Russel Stovers candy but there was tons of it! I got over 50 bags of candy and bars for OOP $8 (plus had a Carmex lotion in the cost).

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

PSS I just went to WG to get more candy. I took my binder and had Ghirardelli coupons and Russel Stover coupons $1 off. I got 6 bags of Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares Milk & Peanut Butter on clearance for $1.09 so 9 cents each with $1 coupon off and Russel Stover Carmels & Chews (11.8 ounces) on clearance for $2.29 for $1.29 with $1 coupon off. None expire any time soon! I am going to put in the freezer for the holidays. OOP 0 used $2 RR plus a filler!

    • Roger

      Don’t forget Christmas.

  6. Theresa

My BBB has a TONNNNN of stuff on clearance!

    • reeses_dream

mine too! it was a mad house in there today!

  7. megan

I love BBB! There is a 20% off coupon in the Rachel Ray magazine, August or September. Also, once you are on the mailing list, BBB sends me a 20% or $5/$15 purchase every month. (I live in Nebraska) BBB will let you use up to 5 store coupons at a time, and they take expired coupons and competitor coupons. (Linens and Things). I hope this helps some of you!

  8. Jen

BBB is great. They take ALL of their store expired coupons (not expired manufacturer). And, you can match up one coupon (20% off) with every item. One time, the manager let me use 5 $5/15 coupons and one 20% off since I was buying 6 items that were very expensive. Saved me lots of money! The coupon thing is great to keep in mind, especially since lots of people use BBB for their wedding registries.

    • robyn

      i was told i couldn’t do that. it was either a man. q or a 20% q. i will go and see.

  9. Kristin

My BBB allows me to use one coupon PER ITEM even if the coupons are expired. I like to call it my customer discount. I always get 20% anything I buy there. I get these in the mail every month and just keep them in the glove box so they are always on hand (even expired ones!). I know that the coupon itself says one coupon per customer, but this is their unwritten policy. Check with your store!

  10. Agnes

this deal is OMG! AMAZING!!!!!! Will run there first thing on Monday!

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anybody know exactly when this $5/15q came in the mail? I usually save just the SS, RP, and PGs only.

    • Rose

I got one the other day, was with all my junk mail. (pizza ads, rooms to go, other local ads)

    • Sue S

I just recieved it on Wednesday or Thursday. I just went and used one 20% with my $5 off $15. The Brita Pitcher and the Snuggie came to .99 cents plus tax. WOW!!!

  12. Mitch

This sounds like a very good deal. I have all my relatives saving BB&B coupons for me, I keep the $5 in my wallet.
    I am heading there tomorrow!
    thanks

Can you use a Lowe’s coupona stacked with a MQ on the Brita pitchers? I never even used a coupon at Lowes, but I have some for $2 Off the Brita pitcher–I wonder if you can stack…does anyone know?

    • pg

      Lowe’s doesn’t allow coupon stacking.

    • Michelle L.

I had no problem stacking both Lowe’s and manufacturer at my Lowe’s. It was .77 + tax after both coupons.

      • Alea

My Lowe’s won’t stack and I read somewhere corporate policy is one or the other, so you are lucky your Lowe’s will stack them 🙂

  14. tina

Well, I just got back from BBB and they wouldn’t take my 10/30 because after the manufacturer coupons my total would be less than 30. Ah well, maybe I should try to go to another store?

  15. Susan

I’m going to use my $5/15 coupon to purchase the 12 oz bottles of handsoap featured on the back on the ad for $1 each. If I buy 15 bottles I’ll only pay $10 plus tax and it works out to $.67 per bottle of soap. Has anyone tried their soap? I’m wondering if it compares to bath and body works. Seems like a decent deal and I need to stock up.

    • tina

I have tried the soap and it doesn’t come close to the bath and body works. You may want to try and get one bottle first, and then if you like it go get more.

  16. Bridget Leary

oh , hope I get mine in the mail soon! Dont have one right now 🙁

  17. Michelle L.

I used the online help feature on BBB website to ask about stacking BBB coupon with manufacturer and I was told you can’t use both. I wish these stores would just put things in writing so that store rules are consistent. Makes me not want to shop there.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My BBB would not let me combine the SQ with the MQ either.

  18. Carol Inglesby

Got one of my Brita pitchers at Lowes yesterday and was smart enough to print off the other Brita coupon. Will be heading to BBB this week. Thanks for the tip!!

    • tina

May I ask what other coupon did you print? Thanks

  19. krysta b

I went to the nearest one to me and they wouldnt let me “stack coupons” they wouldnt let me use the 20% off coupon with the snuggie coupon.. 🙁

  20. Heather T

Just got back from BB&B and the Snuggies were on clearance for $5.99, so I grabbed that with the $5 off coupon and then the Brita $9.99 and $5 off coupon and the $5 off $15 and had a grand total of $1.75. The cashier did not want to take all three coupons, stating my total after the manu coupons would be less than $15. I simply said, could you scan the 5 off 15 Q first? (she then let me know she just got in trouble for messing up a coupon deal on Yankee candles and was scared to do it) But she offered to get the manager to make sure she wouldnt get into trouble. He was totally cool with it, saying the Manu Q were cash. Awesome deal!

    • Alea

yeah their store coupons usually exclude Yankee Candle. Yankee Candle is VERY strict about their candles being discounted. I have talked to a few small gift shop owners about it and that’s why they usually can only discount the scent of the month at their store.

  21. Debbie

My sister lives in the Chicago suburb area and Target has the Snuggies on clearance for
about $3.74 – so they are free. In NW Indiana, Target has them on clearance for $7.48 use the $5 coupon and pay $2.48….I like free better but $2.48 is not bad.

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Im mad! I just came from BBB & neither the cashier nor the manager let me stack the store coupon w/ the man coupon. They said I had to use one or the other & that if I used the man. coupon the total wasnt enough to use the $5 off $15. I asked them to use that one 1st & then man coupon but they wouldnt do it. I even told them that other stores were doing it but they refused even though I explained that man. coupons are $$$, so I just left them w/ the cashier, told her that Id take my business somewhere else & left. 🙁

    • kingchic05

That’s almost the same experience I had a BBB in Maine yesterday. I went to buy 4 snuggies and had 2 20% off Q’s a $5/$15 Q and 4 of the $5 off 1 snuggie varsity q’s. The cashier immediatly called the manager when she saw that I had Q’s. He looked at my Q’s and told me they would not except the snuggie q’s because they were printed offline, and how it says on the coupon Reailer authorize with Veri-Fi.com or something like that. He said that they was no way for the stor to gt their money back from VERI-FI??? I don’t know! It was CRAP!! I left everything on the counter and said I would be taking my business elsewhere! And I did, I went and used all 4 snuggie coupons at Target! I did pay 2.48 pr snuggie OOP . Bt hey for Christmas presents That’s not a bad price!

  23. Leah Rockwell

I just snagged some goodies. I did have a slight problem at BBB, but the manager overrided (overrode??) it. haha At first the cashier wouldn’t let me use the $5/$15, then the MFQ. But I ended up getting it. I tried to tell the manager that using coupons is just another form of payment, and his store was getting reimbursed the $5 for the snuggie. And he said, “well no we won’t.” Hmmm….whatever! I still got it.

THEN – I just got back from Lowe’s and was able to stack the MFQ with the SQ to get the Brita filter for only $.77!!!! I did call 2 different stores before I drove over there. 1 store told me their register wouldn’t accept both coupons, and the other store manager told me that if the register didn’t accept it, he would override it and make it work for me. So…I went to that store! I had NO problems using both coupons.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Where did you find the $2 coupon? I have the $7 one…just need the other now. Would love your help! Thanks in advance! 🙂

  24. Janell

I just got back from BBB. I got the Snuggie for $2.99 (9.99-2.00 20%SC-5.00MQ) & the Brita pitcher for .99 (9.99-2.00 20%SC-7.00MQ) plus tax. Great Deals! Thanks, Collin!!!

  25. Monica

Did anyone have any problems with the Yankee Candle coupons at BBB? They wouldn’t let me use the BOGO Yankee Candle coupon with the BBB 20% off because I was “double-dipping”. This seems to be similar to the Brita issue above but didn’t know if others were having any luck with the Yankee Candle coupon?

  26. Heather T.

Ok so this might sound stupid of me.. but what does the YMMV stand for?

    • Christylee

It stands for Your Mileage May Vary-meaning it is on a per store basis and you could be making a trip for a great deal and you wont get a coupon friendly cashier or manager just so that you are not so mad if it doesn’t work.

      • Heather T.

        Thankss! 🙂

  27. Tracy Y.

Just stopped at BBB and got 2 brita pitchers for $2, using 2 manf coupons and 2 20% off coupons!! Thanks!!!

  28. Arnela

Sweet. Went to one of my Bed Bath & Beyond stores and they had only 1 University Snuggie left. Well of course I picked it up even through it was marked as $14.99. The register marked it $9.99 and I got 2 napkins on sale for $.99 each and paid $7.54. Thanks Collin!!!!!

  29. Pam

My BBB will not accept $5/$15 and the $7 brita coupon. I tried to buy the brita slim for $9.99 and a couple of other items that brought the total to $15.98 before taxes. They will take one or the other but not both.

  30. Jodi

Just a little tid bit of info. The BBB coupons can still be used if they are expired. I have a ton of them.
