I was just in Walgreens and spotted some great clearance bargains in the snack and candy aisle! Here are a few of the items I found…

I was at Walgreen this morning, and saw tags for some great clearance items, but someone beat me to them. Oh well…..next time!
yUP! I just got back and bought some of the Double Dipped Peanut Butter Chocolate Fliptz for 65 cents 🙂 And you know I am eating them as I type this!!!!!!!!!!!
I already did these deals over the weekend. I also found 11.8 ounce Russell Stover boxes on clearance for $2.29 and used a $1 coupon to get it for $1.29. I also found Twix PJ candy bars on clearance for 22 cents. I had coupons for the Werther’s Original caramel Chocolates for $1 and got 6 bags for 9 cents apiece (priced at $1.09). I also found Trident gum on clearance for 34 cents and used $1/2 coupon and got it for free. There was so much candy on clearance–the kind that is usually $3-5 for 65 cents to $1 that I can’t remember it all. I bought tons but still did not clear the shelf (well much). I stocked up for Halloween and Xmas. None of the expiration dates on the products is any time soon.

I tried to use a coupon on the mentos but my Walgreens in Channelview, Tx told me they couldn’t adjust the coupon down. I had the Walgreens Coupon Policy and read to him that the coupon could be adjusted down but he said he had a new policy that said it couldn’t. I asked him if I could get a copy but he said all he could do was show it to me so I told him I would just get the new policy from the corporate website. By the way I also tried to use the Dulcolax $8.00 coupon and they wouldn’t adjust that one either 🙁

Click on the “Home” tab at the top. It will bring up a new page and find the ad that says Single Check rebates. Click on that, and it will open a new window. You may need to log in again. Then you’ll click on the “enter receipts” button and go from there!
Glade candle holders are on clearance for 0.75 each!! Use either 1/1 off cpn to get them free or get candles free wyb a holder. pretty nice deal 🙂

Yay for Wags! I shopped in 2 transactions and bought 2 Therma Care neck or wrist wraps, 2 packs of Trident gum, and 3 cans of Campbells condensed soup for $5.02, and got back $3.00 in RR. I have been burned in the past by not doing 2 transactions and then not getting 2 RR, but this time I did it correctly!
I found the Starburst GummiBursts on clearance for $0.22 and used the BOGO coupon from coupons.com to get two for $0.11 each! I also bought a bag of mini Baby Ruth for $1.29.

I never get these deals in NW Indiana – I did a check down the candy/gum area tonight when I went for milk – nothing on special sale.
I already tried 2 Walgreens for the Mentos gum, some had the sale, some didn’t. I did get some nice European jellies for 75% off so thanks for sending me!

I picked up the starburst gummibursts on clearance for 22 cents at my walgreen’s and had the b1g1 coupons, so I got 6 packs of them for 66 cents +tax =)
