WOW!! This is one awesome week for Rite Aid shopping!! There are lots of freebies and even money-makers as you’ll see below! 😀 If you have a Rite Aid nearby, I would highly recommend heading on over there this week.

If you are considering getting the flu shot this season, you may want to head over to Rite Aid. Rite Aid is offering the flu shot for $24.99 AND you’ll receive a coupon booklet with $128 in Rite Aid savings as a reward. Click here for more information.

Be sure to join the Rite Aid Wellness Program… all the details can be found here. For more information about the new Rite Aid +UP Reward program, click here. For the very latest Rite Aid coupon policy— which was just updated in August, please go here. I would encourage you to print a copy to take with you to the store.

Also, Rite Aid has now partnered with Upromise! This means that you are now able to add Upromise e-coupons to your Rite Aid Wellness+ card and redeem them at Rite Aid for even more savings! Click here for information.

Question on the nivia lipcare coupons: Did anyone not get the $2 off niva lipcare coupon last sunday? I did not and I asked my riteaid if anyone used any and they said they did not know of anyone to use niva lipcare coupons. Today is the last day of the deal and I can get a raincheck, but wanted to know if I should order on ebay or check local papers.

    • Faith s

No I’ve asked everyone no one recieved that coupon however I did get it out of the all you magazine and I used it today and got free lipgloss I’m going to put it in my daughters stocking woo hoo

      • Jill

Got those here in Oregon. 2/2, and 1/1. Used them at Walgreens.

        • momwhocare

Linda: that is sweet of you to be so nice – even though you used them, it is still the thought that counts!

Thanks everyone for the feedback – I am in Idaho I will try for the rainchecks – my step dad goes through lipbalm like it is candy – it is going to be a gift. I should have looked into this sooner – but my computer crashed onme on last Friday october 1st, and I only got it back yesterday.

We have a laptop, but it is a pain to always plug it in and boot it up etc… my husband uses it and it has all his stuff on it and my things are not there etc… so I just didn’t bother getting on it but a couple of times. I was to frustrated being with out my computer.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got two last week 1.00/1 and 2.00/2. Used most of mine at walgreens last week!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got the Nivea coupons. There were 2 in last Sunday’s paper if I recall. 1.00/1 and 2.00/2

      • nicole

I got those also, I live in Michigan and I used them today and got 1.99 up rewards, so it was a great deal…..

    • Marcee

I got the $2/2 and the $1/1 Nivea lip care in our paper this past Sunday 10/3… I live in Oregon. It made for a good deal. Also, if you have a Walgreens near by, their Nivea lip care was only $1… so free there also. Get a raincheck for sure!

    • Linda

I used about 5 of the $2/2 coupons. I would have sent you some of mine, but I used the last ones today.

    • tilla ham

i bought 10 papers because there was a 1/1 2/2 nivea in each as well as other coupons i wanted. i was able to get 30 nivea lip cares for free at walgreens for our halloween party gift bags for the girls and my daughters 13th bday party in dec

      • nicole

That was a good idea, who can’t use chapstick, especially in the fall/winter months…..

    • Dawn w

we did get it in ohio, only it was a $1 off coupon. Then you recieved a $1.99 up & up reward. However at walgreens ending today they have nivea lip care for $1. You won’t get the up & up I believe it is only for this week. You could get a raincheck at walgreens 🙂

    • Kira G

I live in Lake Stevens, WA and it was pretty weird on the Nivea coupons. Some of the Red Plums had them and some didn’t, totally random and I ended up going to four stores to get two papers with that coupon. The Herald, which always has Red Plum, didn’t but only sometimes. Albertson’s had one with and one without, another store had all their papers without, another store had half and half.

    • =Nani=

Our local paper is very crummy when it comes to coupons so a bunch of friends and i get together and order our inserts from http://www.wholecouponinserts.com
Their coupons are awesome and their prices excellent! sometimes we pay less than what a local paper would cost!
anyways, i’d thought id mention it so you dont miss out on any deals 🙂
this past week we got the $1/1 and $2/2 lipcare prods 🙂
i have an extra one if you’d like to have it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

yes we have one coupon for $1 off one and a coupon for 2$off of 2, i went today and got 25 for them, and payed 2.99than used one dollar copon and got back 1.99 in up rewards. and you could use the up rewards to repeat you order, so i would buy 5 at a time, then get my up rewards to pay for the rest , did it 5x, i was in heaven. plus i use 4$ off 20$ coupons, so i make money……like i said i was in heaven…great for stocking stuffer for christmas…i live in michigan

    • Linda

I have 3 or 4 coupons left in my binders if you want them. Send your address to me at cole_lp@yahoo.com and I’ll get them out to you this week.

  2. fran

Even though I really don’t go to R.A., I might have to make a trip there just to get all the freebies on the back page of their ad 😀

  3. stayc0777

The Kids-EEZE coupon is already out of prints 🙁

    • Collin

Darn! I just updated the post.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It was out of prints before Collin posted it. It has been out for at least a few days as I looked ahead and tried then and they were already gone….. 🙁

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Tried last week when I heard about the upcoming sale, I imagine it has been out for awhile.

  4. Holly

For the Rite Aid Box Top Sweepstakes it states: “Limit: one (1) entry in Sweepstakes and one (1) play of Instant Win Game per person, per household and per email address per calendar day (regardless of method of entry).” Do you read that to mean that you can only enter the Sweepstakes once total and the instant win game once daily, or that you can enter them both once daily?

  5. Emily

Oh collin, i have an even better deal for the garnier nutritioniste deal.
There are also 2 dollar off 1 garnier nutritioniste cleanser or moisturizer in October Video values coupons, use 2 of those and then it will become a MONEYMAKER! 🙂

With the reeses, theres also a 1 dollar off 1 in the october video values, so it’ll become a dollar for 2.

    • Rose

I thought you could only print/use 1 VV coupon? How are you able to use 2 on the same item?
Unless there was a VV from last month too?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

my husband has an account too 😉 and I can use those coupons too b/c they have a different barcode

        • Emily

So, how do you like my scenario xD 🙂
I guess you and your hubby get a lot of stuff!

        • nikki

aren’t the coupons linked to your card? How would you be able to use your husbands coupons?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I would double check yourself. I have tried to use my mom’s huggies VV on my account as well, but it would not let me do so. I believe regardless if the VV are different accounts, they are only 1 per wellness card.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just tried it for the first time this week with the schick hydro v v..I did it two seperate days but they each worked fine. Who knows…maybe it was a fluke…

          • Emily

I’ve done this before using my sisters coupons, and the coupons are NOT linked to a wellness card. It allows me to use it, nd they just scan through. I’ve done this MANY times, so i can confirm it.

    • Collin

      Hi Emily-

Thanks for the heads up on the Garnier Nutritioniste September and October Video Values coupon! I have updated the deal scenario which makes them free + a moneymaker…yippee!

      • Emily

        Your welcome collin! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Rumor has it that they will be linking the video values website with their wellness card program soon. Besides, actions like these are presumably why rite aid Pulled their $5/25, can we please not abuse the system people!

      • Kim

I agree! You are suppose to have one account per household. And Riteaid trusts you to only print one VVs coupon. Just because their system doesn’t stop you, doesn’t make it right. Abuse like this is what makes them crack down. Don’t you remember what happened with Target’s ‘unlimited print’ coupons!!!! 🙁

    • Samantha

I found some Garnier cleanser reg priced at 5.99, so I was happy! My husband and I also each have our own Wellness+ card. I asked 2 different people if this was acceptable before signing up and they said it was no problem at all. I try to use our VV coupons with the respective cards, but I have also combined them in the past and it worked just fine. If they limit 1 card per household in their policy, I will abide by that but for now I am going on what I was told by Rite Aid associates.

  6. Emily

Did anyone do the toy deal this past week at Rite Aid and was it worth it? It was buy $20 get $5 back. I have about $40 in Up Rewards to use up and thought of using some on toys. Will there be a deal this week on toys?? Thinking of Christmas for the kids!

    • Kara

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t see any sales on toys this week in the ad.

  7. Sarah

Does anyone know if you can use more than one of the $5 off $25 coupons (the pdf one that expires at the end of the month) per wellness card?

    • pg

Sarah, you can use as many as you want to on each card. The only coupons that are limited are the VV ones. 🙂

    • Linda

Yes. I have been using the $5/$25 since it came out and saving my video $4,$5 and $5.

    • Stephanie

      Sarah-

You can use as many 5 off 25 coupons (pdf) that you want. I have done the Nivea, Clariton & candy deals & use about 6 of them this week for 1 wellness card. So, print away.
FYI: A good idea, is so save the pdf file, then rotate it. Once you start to print it, cancel the print as soon as the coupon clear. This way you will be using less ink.

      • momwhocare

I just printed mine in color (my color ink is out) and it only printed the coupon part and left the rest blank – cool.

    • Sarah

Thanks, that’s what I was hoping. I had forgotten about it and had used a couple of my other ones, darn.

    • Jane

Yes, I have used a couple of the same pdf coupon $5 off $25 order with no problems. But I’ve found you are limited to just one of each of the video value type coupons per reward card.

    • momwhocare

terms: *Coupon good through 10/31/10. This coupon can only be used towards one purchase which includes at least $25 of eligible product, sales tax not included. No cash can be given. This coupon is not valid on purchase of prescriptions, prescription co-pays, Medicare or Medicaid prescriptions, lottery tickets, tobacco, alcohol
products, money orders, gift cards, prepaid cards, stamps, licenses, other mailing services, online purchases or any other items excluded by law. May not be combined with any like offers. Limit one coupon per customer. v4

It says limit one per customer – but, if the register doesn’t beep then I guess they are letting you use it more than once. They can make it beep when you use it more than once per wellness card, so I guess they do not care if you do. HTH

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I wasn’t sure about the “one per customer” I asked my manager if that meant ‘per day’ or ‘per transaction’ or one total. He said if it doesn’t beep, he’d take it.

        • Jodi

For some reason, my qs aren’t scanning. Even when they enter the numbers in manually, the cashier won’t take my q. They say the policy is, it has to scan to be acceptable. The q printed clearly, so I don’t get it.

  8. jane23

Can’t find the L’Oreal Lip October Video Values Coupon…

    • Laura Jane

I can’t find the L’Oreal lip October Video Values either.

  9. sc

The Kids-EEZE coupon says no prints available… after they take your information of course.

  10. sammy

Select No Nonsense Hosiery, Socks and Underwear $2.99
    Get a $1 +Up Reward
    Final Cost $1.99!

on rite aid videos, there is a coupon available for 1 dollar off. so 99 cents!

    • Collin

Thanks Sammy! I updated the post.

    • julie

There is a $1 coupon in the flu booklet.

      • Ashlee

Where do you find the flu coupon booklet?

  11. Dolly

There is $1coupon for No Nonsene in the Flu Coupon Booklet.

    • Collin

Thanks Dolly! I added this coupon to the deal scenario.

      • Cindy

The flu coupon book and the rite aid video coupons both start with RC49. So can we use both?

  12. angie

how do the rite aid rebate checks work? Do you have to use them in the store or can they be deposited into your checking account? I’m asking bc we are visiting where a Rite Aid is but do not have one where I live so I would only go once or twice in a couple day period.
Thanks in advance for the information!

    • Divas4Deals

The rebates are super easy. You enter the information online (on their webist you’ll see a section where it says Single Check Rebate-click that). Then enter all your info from each receipt. At the end of the Rebate period (usually the end of the month) request your check. I usually get it just a couple of weeks later. I put all my rebate checks into one savings account and save it for Christmast-just a suggestion.

    • Melissa R.

They mail you an actual check. Yes, you can deposit it in your account or simply cash it. 🙂

    • fran

Angie, you can cash it…it’s just like any other check 😀

      • angie

        THANKS FOR THE HELP!

        • Lighthousefam

You can also use the Rite Aid rebate checks at Rite Aid…..at least that’s what the check itself says. I’ve never tried it though.

          • where's the deal

My last check I took to Rite Aid and had it put on a gift card!

  13. charlie

Are you able to purchase the rebate items online and submit for rebate? many of these items are gone quickly from stores sometimes.

    • stacy

yes there is an option on the rite aid site.. says enter receipts and asks you online or in store.. super easy!

    • Kim

You don’t have to buy them online. Get a raincheck and buy them once your store restocks. Then you just have to fax them a receipt showing them you bought the item with a raincheck. The fax number and instructions can be found under the help menu once you log into the SCR site!

  14. Melinda

I printed a $2/1 John Freida Brilliant Brunette coupon from the John Freida website. You have to sign up, but the coupon prints immediately after you do.

  15. Niki

Silly question. I didn’t get my flu shot at Riteaid. How do i get the flu coupon booklet?

    • Kara

I was wondering the same thing. I was thinking about asking someone at the store but haven’t been brave enough.

      • Collin

You should be able to ask the pharmacist for a coupon booklet…even if you did not get a flu shot, they are usually happy to give you a booklet.

        • momwhocare

I asked my pharmasist and he was a little resistant and then said sure – but my family does use that pharmacy and I always talk to him and he kinda of knows us real well. I also gave him the sad puppy dog pouty lips and eyes when he started to say no.
So, it may depend – I was told by the manager the stores in my area were requiring the flu shot to get the book. So, it never hurts to ask and be all sweet 🙂 – but, keep in mind, some people are being told no.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Seeing as how my pharmacist is a man, could I borrow one of you ladies?? “I also gave him the sad puppy dog pouty lips and eyes when he started to say no.So, it may depend – I was told by the manager the stores in my area were requiring the flu shot to get the book. So, it never hurts to ask and be all sweet.”

        • steph

the fine print on the flu shot coupon booklet ad states “no purchase necessary”. So I have just mentioned this to the pharmacist and they gave it to me no problem

    • Vivienne

I didn’t get my flu shot at Rite Aid and they wouldn’t give me the booklet when I asked 🙁

      • San

I checked with two different Rite Aid stores… but they refused to give me one 🙁

        • cjs

If you really need/want the coupon book, it might be worthwhile for you to call corporate…I was really hesitant on asking the Pharmacy for the book without getting the shot, but he was super nice – and offered up some information about there being a ‘whole ordeal with corporate and they are supposed to give them out if people request them without a shot’. (at least that was the story at my local RA) Hope this helps.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I will for sure call them. Thanks. I went to four different Rite Aids to find one and got a big fat NO from all of them. 🙁

  16. Niki

There is an Airwick Imotion VV coupon too! I think it is September because mine expires on October 23, 2010. So free?

    • Collin

Thanks Niki! I added it. 🙂

  17. wendy d

Are the prices on the items that are free after SCR the everyday price or are they on sale also. Just trying to work out my scenarios and if I get 20% off of that price it’s really going to screw them up. Anyone know?

    • Collin

      Wendy-

Check out the ad scan from IHeartRiteAid.com…you should be able to determine whether each item is on sale or just marked at regular price. Hope this helps!

      • wendy d

        Thanks Collin!

    • Josie

I purchased the Free SCR items today and they are sale price. I have the discount as well and they were not discounted! Hope that helps

      • wendy d

        Thank you!

  18. stayc0777

There is a $1 September VV coupon for the Air Wick Imotion, Freshmatic or NeutraAir Kits. That would make it a $1 moneymaker right? Or does the coupon not match correctly?

    • stayc0777

Sorry, I guess I took too long double checking the VV coupon and Niki beat me to it.

  19. Samantha

Hey! I was going through your list and I was just gonna let everyone know that on the kit kat and reese snack size bags, there is a $1 off October VV coupon…there is also a $1 off 3 snack size bags in one of the coupon inserts a couple of weeks ago (not sure which one. Sorry!)…so if you got 4 bags and it printed 2 ups, it would be like getting 4 bags for $4! 🙂

    • Collin

      Thanks Samantha!

  20. Emily

Anybody know how many SCR’s for the neilmed nasagel is per person?

    • Collin

      Emily-

All of the NeilMed rebates are limited to 1.

  21. Samantha Pedersen

Has anyone else been finding that their coupons have been printing differently lately? My bar codes are really “heavy” and are not scanning anywhere!!!

    • Mel

Yes! It’s like the bars are running together. I thought it was maybe my ink. Frustrating.

    • momwhocare

try printing your coupons in greyscale or black and white – not color. If you can choose greyscale or the option for low quality (it’s for those who want to save on ink and do not care about the qulity of the print job) – then that is the way to go. When to much ink is used it can cause the barcodes to be hard to scan.

HOW- go to your printer properties and color – to change your settings. If you do not want to do that each time you print you can go to the start button – control panel, printer settings and then choose your printer and then click the printer propertise and select the greyscale or option that is best for you.

That is what I do – since you cannot choose how to print the smartsource, coupon.com coupons etc… it goes by your default settings. When I want to print in color on a project I just use the printing preferences at the time of print.

      HTH

      • Samantha Pedersen

I’ll go give that a try – thanks so much for the suggestion!

  22. Emily

Oh, collin, i’m in the rite aid SCR website, and it says that only the purchase price wil be refunded. So there would be no moneymaker technicaly, right?

    • Alexis

I’ve used plenty of coupons on SCR stuff and they always give the full amount to you–it always says after coupons, but I don’t think they can really check that…

    • Emily

It has always said that, but experience has been that the moneymakers DO work.

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

just curious…has anyone ever used a bogo coupon on a buy one get one 50% sale? what item did you get free…the full priced one or the discounted one??

    • Emily

with this, it’s YMMV. It depends on the cashier, but at a store near my house, they do it.

      • Emily

Sorry, i mean they do it for the full price one, but sometimes when i’ve done it they only do it for the not free one.

        • Emily

Gosh, i mean the 50 percent off one.

  24. butterfly421

There’s also a $2 coupon on any eye studio product on Maybelline New york facebook page. Click on the NEWS tab…its small to see but the coupon is above the video beside find your shade. Pair it with the October VV for $2 eye studio color gleam eye trio plus with the 40% off would be a real good deal. 🙂

    • Marnee

      Sweet, thanks for the tip!

  25. Shawn

Well… I do need the Flu shot (just found out Im preggo!!! YEAH!!! KEEP THE Huggies deals coming!!) Does anyone know if they take insurance??? I can get it free at my family MD. Just a thought (and to make it a sweet deal!!)

    • Nancy

Congrats Shawn. I wish you and your baby all the best! At least you’ll have diaper deals – I didn’t have any clue 10 years ago (when I had my last child) all about couponing and how to get these great deals – not even sure they even existed back then. So at least you’re pointed in the right direction and should be able to stock pile all kinds of baby things. 🙂

    • Dana

you can get your flue shot using your insurance at rite aid just like when you get your scripts filled

      • pg

It depends on your insurance, so check before you go. My insurance will NOT cover flu shots that are administered in stores but it will pay for them in other places like doctors’ offices.

    • Stacy

Just wanted to say congrats!!!! 🙂

  26. Dolly

    Is the $5/2coupon from 7/25RP on Loreal Lip Buy1 Get 1 50% off regional.I can’t find it.

Also everyone, the Purex sheets are regularly (at my Rite Aid stores in PA) $6.99; there is a coupon in tomorrow’s papers for $3/1, and you can use two of them for the B1G1 on these and that would make it 99 cents for two plus tax of course. But I feel this is a great deal! You can use this in your deal scenarios to make for some great over $25 deals along with the tampons, Airwick (FREE!), and the Gain dish detergent. I already have two deals going for just pennies after all the great deals and coupons. This week will definitely rock at Rite Aid.

    • Colleen

How can you use two BOGO coupons for a sale. Will Rite Aid accept them? I thought you had to at least buy one product.

      • Kim

She said the coupons are for $3/1 and they are on sale BOGO… so you can use 2 coupons since you’re buying 2 items.

      • Megan

What she means is that there is a BOGO sale on them at Rite Aid, then you can use two $3.00/1 coupons, making the total $0.99 for 2. HTH!

    • jhh

So if you buy (4) Purex sheets and use (4) $3off coupons, it can be a money making deal, since you can get $3 up?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They are $8.99 in my store 🙁 I found this out the last time when they had the $3 MQ and the BOGO sale. BUT…. there is a $1 off RAQ in the flu book so it will bring my price down to the $6.99 when I use 2 so I am happy with that!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I thought I saw an ad for the purex sheets and now can’t find it in my insert. I thought I was losing my mind. I was really hoping someone was going to address this deal because it wasn’t in Collins deals and then I thought maybe I had been wrong. Thanks so much for posting this. Where is the ad in the flyer? Any info would be great.

  28. NolaGirl

I purchased two Hershey’s fun size, and I received the $1 +UP Reward. However, Bernadine, the cashier at store #7266 3100 Gentilly Boulevard in New Orleans refused to let me use my three $1 +UP Reward which expire today. Of course, this was the one time I didn’t not have a printout of the Rite Aid coupon policy in hand.

She apparently failed to read that “Multiple +UP coupons can be used (subject to the printed exclusions) up to the amount of purchase before sales tax.”

    • Kathy

So did your ups expire? If so I would call and complain to corporate. That is such crap.

I lost a $15 up once and was super bummed, but with all the deals I have gotten I feel like whatever it happened and I am trying to keep a better hold on them since then.

      • NolaGirl

Called last night, I’ll have to wait until Monday. The cashier from last night is also the Mgr. on Duty today.

    • Tawanda

Hey Nolagirl from another nolagirl! There are a few of us couponers in NOLA. Want to make it three and join the fun in shopping together?! I’m at ta_mc@live.com. Hope to hear from you!

      • NolaGirl

        I’ll e-mail you soon.

    • NolaGirl

I spoke to two really great customer service reps at 800-Rite Aid. My rejected & now expired +UPs will be reissued. Also, the store manager and cashiers were called and reminded of RA’s coupon policy regarding +UPs and internet coupons. I also got info. on how to submit rebates for items not in stock during the sale dates.

One rep also said there’s a possibility that the window for using the +UPs may be extended to a longer period (i.e. 30 days rather than two weeks).

  29. tina

My $4/20 VV coup expires Oct 23. In the past, the VV coupons were good for 2 months…
Also, this month I don’t see $5/25 VV in my offers. I wonder why. Some info, anyone?

    • NolaGirl

I’ve found that the $4 off $20 VVQ usually follows the SCR dates for the month. This month it’s Sept. 26 thru Oct. 23. Your other VVQs should have the usual time frame.

      • tina

Thanks for the answer. Regarding the $5/25 VVQ I don’t have them this month and wonder why. I checked the RA website for their phone # and now they are all erased.

        • NolaGirl

There was a $5 off $25 pdf that was good until 12/31/2010. Maybe someone has one. Try searching “PRINT a $5 off $25 coupon” or “Rite Aid $5 off $25 pdf”.

        • Kim

All of the $5/$25 VV coupons were removed earlier this week, not really sure why, but they were there one day and gone the next…. a lot of readers were commenting on this the other day.

    • Sara

Double check your $4/20—look at the top of your coupon. It should state that it doesn’t expire until 11/27/2010.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They removed all the $5/$25 coupons according to some because of abuse? But that being said they keep releasing PDF $5/$25 coupons so that makes no sense….. There is a new PDF for $5/$25 that expires on 12/31. You can access it if you go to slickdeals.net and go to forums. Under forums go to drugstore blah blah blah deals…. and then when you get there look for “master list of Rite Aid printables”. On there you will find a link to print the $5/25. HTH

  30. kirsten25

anyone know whats up with the 5/25 coupon ? its not there anymore

    • Agrees with Anonymous

I saw on another thread on here they have removed those coupons until further notice. Someone said the tax was not computed right and was only charging tax on your purchase minus $10 so say you bought $30 used the $5/$25 and your total is $25 but on your receipt it would only charge tax on $15 of it. It’s a glitch supposedly. I had already printed mine off and was able to use one Wed. but I am taking the $4/$20 with me just in case it isn’t accepted anymore.

  31. denise

I found the Playtex coupon using zip 1234 and looking at Red Plum exclusives, I think it’s on the third page. Was able to print two coupons so I will get mine for FREE! 🙂

    • sc

Thanks! I couldn’t find it before!

  32. steph

On the lysol deal…can you use a RA coupon from the flu book and the RA VV coupon? Is that using 2 RA coupons? I know you can use a VV and an in ad coupon, but is the RA coupon from the flu book different???
Thanks for all the match up!

    • steph

never mind, I figured out that you are buying 2 of each and using 2 RA coupons! Good deal!

  33. Dana

If you have the $16 Summer Of Savings Safeway Coupon Book there is a $1.50 Off Sucrets manufacturer coupon (exp. 10/31) to make it a $1.50 Money Maker!

    • Megan

      Thanks so much!!

  34. pg

If you use the Halls $2/3 coupon from 8-8 SS (the one that also had Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, etc.) it’s a better deal than what was posted above. Using the $2/3 and the $.50 VV your final would be $.47 for 3. The deal above is $.48 for 2.

  35. Joey

Anyone know if the PediaCare $1/1 coupon is regional? I got my Smart Source Insert from my local papers and it does not contain PediaCare. Gonna try and look out for it in my regular Sunday papers tmr. I hope is it not regional 🙁

    • Suzy

I just picked up the Sunday early edition (in Portland, OR) and there weren’t any PediaCare coupons in our Smartsource either…so maybe they are regional.

    • Lindsay Wirth

Yup—it’s definitely regional. Didn’t receive it here in Coeur d’Alene, Id

  36. Stacy

Regarding the Halls deal, there is a big stand-alone display near the pharmacy in my Shoprite (Carmel, NY).. It has a BOGO free tear-pad on it, so if you don’t have either of the Halls manufacturer coupons, keep an eye out for this display in your supermarket! The coupon is good until 03/31/11. I haven’t looked at the circular yet, but if it’s only the 30ct. on sale, the Refresh probably aren’t included, as they are 20ct. I believe.

  37. audchik

Do you have to buy 2 to get the 2 for $5 price on the Garnier shampoo? Or would it be 2.50 each?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Rite Aid is usually just the price for one or more (how many ever you buy) at the $2.50 price. They do not play games like Walgreens where they make you buy the amount in order to get the savings. A Rite Aid manager confirmed this with me last week when I was trying to purchase the dixie plates and they were not ringing up on sale and they were not in my ad so I asked if they are 2/$4 would they ring up that way only if I bought 2? He said no, they would just ring up at $2 each. So hope that answers your question.

      • audchik

yes it does! thanks a lot 🙂

  38. Collin

Thanks to all of you who brought to my attention the fact that the $5/$25 Video Values coupon is no longer available. I am not sure why this is the case (one reader mentioned issues with taxes being calculated incorrectly?) but you can still use the $5/$25 PDF coupon that is available. 🙂

  39. Jen

I was going to buy the free after SCR items with my +UP awards that are going to expire. Do you think this will work and I will still get the full rebate amount?

    • pg

Yes. That’s what the rest of us are doing too. That’s why RA is the best drugstore. 😉

  40. Meridith

My Rite Aid’s customer service is AWESOME! I just had to tell everybody that. Yesterday, I got a costume and some makeup for my daughter to make it go over the 20 bucks so I could get the 5 Reward. It didn’t print out, so the guy says, is it ok just to give you 5 cash? That is just one example, they are the friendliest of all my drug stores. Thanks for the great list, Collin!!

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

hey. does anyone know what the reward limit is on the hand cream that is $1? is it like the nivea and crest was last week?? HELP! Thanks!

  42. Karissa

FYI – When I purchased the PediaCare Gentle Vapors unit this morning it rang up at 8.99 instead of the advertised price of 6.99. The PediCare Children’s Multi-Symptom Cold medicine also rang up at 6.99 instead of the advertised price of 4.99. This was happening for other people at our store (in Michigan) this morning too. Our Rite Aid staff is great and they gave a $4 refund right away, but you may want to watch your receipts carefully to make sure this doesn’t happen to you! Good luck 🙂

    • Stacey

How was the stock on the SCR items? I’m in MI too…can’t head out until late today, just curious if it’s worth it. I do like the 1 item limit on SCR, so at least the supply may stretch 🙂

      • Karissa

I live in Holland, MI and they had a lot of stock of the SCR items, but it was also busier than usual today with all of the SCR deals, so some items were moving quickly off the shelves.

    • momwhocare

In Idaho PediaCare Gentle Vapors rang up wrong too. They adjusted the price fo rme. So, yes – make sure it rings up right until it’s fixed.

    • sonnig

It happened to me this morning, I’m in NY.

    • San

Thank you for the alert, Karissa! I remembered to check the price of PediaCare Gentle Vapors and it rang up at $8.01. The cashier paid me the difference.

    • Lindsay Wirth

I’m here in Coeur d’Alene, ID and they rang up full price for me as well—Just noticed. I will be getting the refund tomorrow when I return my Udderly Smooth cream—not on the $1.00 sale advertised–and no UP reward! 🙁

      • where's the deal

I’m in Coeur d’ Alene too – glad I saw this post – I did notice the Pediacare cold rang up wrong and she fixed it, but just looked and the vapor rang up for 8.54. Will have to get that fixed tomorrow. I too tried the udderly smooth – and returned it.

    • margaret in seattle

you are absolutely right. i only noticed the vapor ran at $8.99 on my receipt but now i checked my pediacare cold medicine, that ran at $6.99 NOT 4.99. ladies, make sure you act the cashier to manually adjust the price.

      • Kay

Not sure if this was the problem for you also, but the PediaCare cold medicine rebate says “excluding PLUS” (also says that in the weekly ad) and that price is 6.99. I just looked at my receipt and I bought the wrong one, the PLUS, which rang up at 6.99…and will not qualify for the rebate either. :/ Back to Rite Aid I go…

    • Shawn

I just looked and I was rung up incorrectly… Looks like I will be heading back tomorrow!!

      THANKS!!!

      • Kristie

I accidentally bought the plus today and thought that was why it rang $6.99. I went back to return and grabbed the pink/orange one which also rang $6.99! The purple one rang $6.99. I’m donating mine, so it didn’t matter to me what variety I got. I just noticed tonight that my Gentle Vapors rang up $8.99, so I think I’ll go back to get the price adjustment.

    • Sheila

Thanks for this post, mine rang in at 6.49? instead of 4.99. Thanks for the heads up!!!

  43. Mel

I found an EOS lip balm honeydew on the clearance rack for $1.64 and they have a SCR for $2!

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WOW too many comments to read.
FYI 99% of the VV’s and flu books CAN NOT be used together.
    1 RC49 & 1 RC48
    not 2 RC49 or 2 RC48

  45. Jennifer

If you received the Dove sample that was available there was a $1 off any Dove Hair Care product. That makes it free!

  46. Julie

Could the Udderly smooth lotion be regional? I don’t see it in my circular and it rang up $2.99.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Why isn’t the purex sheets highlighted for a good deal? I can’t seem to find them in the insert, but I know I saw it somewhere other then mentioned here. Help. Also is there a dove cpn out there somewhere. I can’t find my red plum from last week. Is there one on cpn.com or cpnmom? Thanks in advance.

    • Karissa

Yes, it does seem to be regional. Our stores in West Michigan are not participating in that sale and it was not in our ad.

    • Shawn

Mine too… rang up as $2.99 here in Ohio 🙁

    • Dinae

Yes, the Udderly Smooth cream was not in our ad here in NW Washington either. : (

    • kim

I had the same problem, rang up $2.99. Back on the shelf it went.

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m also in MI maybe I saw it on their web site then not in the insert. Thanks.

  48. Lindsay Wirth

Udderly Smooth appears to be a regional sale. No tags, but I thought “what the heck, I’ll give it a try!” — Rang up $3.69, and no UP+ Reward. I’ll return tomorrow when I have them credit me for the PediaCare Gentle Vapors wrong register ring–$9.49 instead of $6.99!

  49. Roland @ Coupon Pro blog

Pro-foot coupon is only $1 off…. must be out of $2 prints?!

  50. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Udderly smooth is in my ad paper, but it doesnt have a limit. Do they usually say limit 1 if you can only get 1?
