Bummer…I’m going to go ahead and order the other ones I’m interested in and call tomorrow to see if they can add it to my order and fix the problem.
FYI..I called this morning and the game and after much confusion they said that the promo code is not meant for sale games like Creature Create as of 10/08. I asked why it worked for other sale games and they said it was a computer glitch. Sounded like they will be honoring orders that went through, but they realized the issue last night and are correcting it. Glad they’re at least honoring it…some companies might not.

Leapster 2 for sure, I’m not sure if the Exlporer takes the same cartridges.
I believe the Spanish ones do not apply to the discount, you can check again though!

these games work with Leapster and Leapster 2, but not with Leapster Explorer.
Does anyone could tell me which one is better, the Leapster 2 or the Explorer? I don’t know which one should I buy for my 3 year old.
I choose the Leapster 2 for the simple reason that my older daughter had an L-max and wore it out. They no longer make it but the leapster 2 works with all cartridges. The new explorer only works with the explorer cartridges.

Yes they cancelled my order and then sent me an email saying I could order again with a different code that was 20 or 25 dollars off of 50 and free shipping. They said the code was only suppose to go out to specific cardholders. I figured it was too good to be true. My order got cancelled from the HSN deal as well, the 20 off 20 deal.

Yes they do. My daughters have both and they are interchangeable.

No, you don’t. You can just purchase one game (if you want) and the $5 discount will still be applied. Although, it appears from reading the comments that a couple games aren’t working with the coupon code.

YES,I did get the boot to Women Within.TWO days after I placed my order, I received an
e-mail saying the code I used was invalid,and they cancelled my order.

Funny I got an order confirmation and an authorization on my cc statement, but no email saying that they had canceled the order. But I just checked and the authorization has been removed from my cc. Oh well, it only took a little bit to place the order and it was definitely worth trying. On another note, I got my cutting boards from One Kings Place this week. After forgetting that I even ordered them, this was a great surprise, especially since it was completely free!!! Thanks Colin!!!

I had the same issues with the code not working by going straight through leapfrog. If you go through the Shopathome website it seems to work. Still doesnt work on creature create, but the rest are a super deal. Thanks!!!

Last time the code was working on all games but after like 24hrs of this hitting the blog world and most going OOS they changes the code to work on non-$9.99 games only.
It funny that now the coupon code(s) are working again but ONLY on the games that went OOS…so that tells me don’t think they fixed the code correctly…oh well their loss is our gain

I have been looking for a deal on a leapster for my son. I was able to get 6 games, a leapster2 and a pair of headphones for $89.62. When you “bundle” a device, an accessory and mutiple games you get an additional 15% of the device, games and accessory plus an order over $50 gets free shipping. So, the creature create game and the batman games $8.49, headphones were $10.19, and the leapster2 was $42.49 and the other 4 games were 4.99 each…. I’ve priced these on craigslist and this was a better deal to buy it new!! I’m going to save some of the games for a present later on too. Does the Leapster 2 come with games pre-loaded on it like the Clickstart does? Are the cartridges just add on’s to the Leapster or is the Leapster pretty much useless without a cartridge? Just trying to decide how to split the games between Christmas and Birthdays! =)

I think they were scrambling to change the validity of the code AS I was placing my order. I had things in my cart, the code was applied, I went to checkout, and the code was not applying. I went back to my cart and the code was still there but the discounts were gone. I did find a code OCTBDAY that takes 20% off of a $20 order. Definitely not as great a deal, but something… And if you spend $50 you get free shipping. With free shipping and this code I saved about $20 and paid about $8.57 each on 7 games shipped to my door. Still and alright deal I guess.
I noticed earlier on Leapfrog’s website that a few of their games were out of stock (Finding Nemo, Backyardigans & Cars). They are back in stock and I was able to get a total of 5 games for $4.99 each!! Such a great price! Now, I’m hoping the Leapster Game System will go for a cheap price too!

COLLIN!!! Help me please. I placed the order on 10/17. It showed that the discount was applied. As I proceeded to checkout it showed the price back up to 9.99 but at the bottom of the order it said promotional codes would be applied at checkout. I have spent over 2 hrs on the phone arguing with cust svc. The full charge has been applied to my account and they are now telling me there is a “disclaimer” stating it is not applicable to 9.99 items. I know others have gotten the order. I am so bummed. What is the best was to go about this? I am considering refusing the order when it arrives just out of principal. why did it work for some & not others? I am happy others got the deal but I dont like to be mislead. (not by you…. by leapster) I think they have changed the website and added the disclaimer now.
