BEWARE I printed this the last time (I live in Chicago) and after taking the pictures they said that the coupon would ring up as $18 because it was an e-mail invite and it was for the west coast.
I also ran into this problem on the East Coast. Manager rang it up twice so the price was $18 No mention about the price difference. Caught it after paying as I was waiting for the photos and questioned manager. She “looked around” for the coupon that I had JUST given her. Couldn’t find it (a little shady). Luckily I was able to pull the coupon up on my phone to show her that there was nothing about $18 or “good only on the West Coast” in the fine print. Finally was able to convince her that I should get the $9 price and got a refund. But wow, that took a lot of work! Just be on your toes.
Im in pa and used the coupon in nj with no problem last month. Although the pics were not that great. My son’s face was out of focus and the photographer didnt really try to get his attention and have him smile. I am going back cause i cant afford halloween pics very well but i am going to voice my concerns this time.
I took my daughter to the Picture People in Oak Brook (Chicagoland) and got the $9 price no problem.
Hmm. Mine was the one at Old Orchard. I pressed them on it and showed them that I got it from the website. Maybe it was just them. I really prefer Penney’s and I could have gotten more selection from them (They almost always have $3.99 a sheet.). I wasn’t impressed with the photographer we happened to have either, but that has happened other places as well. I’ll probably just not going to waste my time with Picture People next time.
I had the same problem getting the $9. They said that coupon was not intended for our market (Cincinnati) and that their special was $18. I ended up getting the $9 price, but with a lot of aggravation. Also, they weren’t really into trying to get a good pic of my son. They were very intent on sticking with the 20 minute time slot, regardless of whether or not we got a good shot. My pics were mediocre.
I just called Kenwood mall store and they said they are honoring that coupon. They did not say a thing about a price increase. I’m sending my daughter and her boxing gloves when she takes my granddaughter, just incase, lol.
I took my kids for a photo shoot in their Halloween costumes! I had no problems using this coupon. The pictures are adorable and $9 was such a good deal!

I used this for my family and also sent it to two friends to use for theirs. All three of us used it without a problem! The pictures turned out great and they didn’t pressure us to buy any more pictures like I thought they would. Thank you!
We have an appointment tomorrow with them for my baby’s first halloween pics, she is almost 5 months. I didn’t know there would be a costume contest going on and all that other stuff…how cool:) But my cousin gave me the coupon because she already had hers done, and she had no problems and only paid $9!!

So thrilled about this deal. I LOVE our Picture People. Taking my kids in tomorrow with their cousins to get pictures for the whole family (CHEAP Christmas presents!) and next week taking my daughter in for her 1st birthday pics! Just be careful, I know our PP keeps track of each person & the coupons they use, so you can only use one “like” coupon during the promotional period. (We are using my SIL’s coupon tomorrow and then my own next week).
I used two of these coupons, a few weeks apart, but didn’t have any problem using it twice under my name.
The Picture People that WAS at my mall is now a Motherhood Maternity store 🙁 Really would of loved to get in on this one :(.
Oh I wish there was one close to us, closest one 3-4 hours away. I really would love to get a great picture of all the kids together…might have to take them somewhere to get them done for Christmas instead of doing it myself.
i only have one complaint about our picture people and that is the white background…they claim it’s the only one they have, and my kids are whiter than casper so it washes them out…i enjoy sears multitude of backgrounds
That sucks. Mine has 4 that i noticed. black, grey, white, and a black and white design.
Mine has many different backgrounds, I just have to ask them to change it. We took one with 7 kids and a tie dye background… it was very colorful to say the least! lol. But the kids had fun, loved the colors, and it was only $9! 🙂
I don’t really like the experience at picture people over anywhere else but I do really like that they have 4×6 prints. I used to use Sears but we’ve moved and the Sears closest to us is terrible. I had a really bad experience with them so I’m on the search for somewhere new. I guess I’ll have to try JCP or the place in walmart. I get pictures frequently so I tend to only buy one sheet or a small package at any one time.
I used the coupon in Greenville, SC and it worked fine. They did a great job with the pictures.

I just called my local Picture People to ask if I would be able to use a the same coupon again if I made another appointment before the 31st and they said no. The woman told me it would come up in the computer and I would have to pay full price for my prints because I used this coupon a a few weeks ago.
Just wanted to let you guys know…might be worth it to call ahead if you are hoping to go for a second time like the other reader had posted.
I think it all depends on the store you go to. My Picture People was very accomadating and let me use it twice on 2 different occasions.

Yes, we just did ours. It has to be the same photo! Still a good deal!
We just went today for this deal. The coupon did scan for $18 here in Atlanta, but the cashier adjusted the price to $9 without giving me a problem. They will only let you use the deal once and you have to pick one pose for all the photos. It is still an outstanding deal, since the retail price is $18 for one sheet!
We didn’t have great service because the place was packed. We arrived on time for our 10:40 am appointment, but we didn’t get called back until 10:55 (by then our toddlers were antsy). We ate lunch after our session to allow time for editing the photos, and we still had to wait 15-20 minutes to see the pictures just because the employees were so busy with the other customers.
I’m still glad we went because the deal was incredible. It was worth the hassle. However, I would definitely not go back if I have to pay full price.
