Yay for swagbucks!!! I just did the same thing. My husband is a pilot and just bought a cheapy while waiting in an airport a couple weeks ago. I’m sure it will be broken by Christmas. So this will be perfect and I paid less than he did 🙂

I found the same thing, so I emailed Amazon to either fix it or verify how they got that original price 🙂
Another review from July says it was $30, too. Everyone raves that it’s a great helicopter for the price, so I’m sure if you were going to buy one this is a great deal. I’ve seen Amazon’s “List prices” be so exorbitantly far off on a lot of items – if you want to find out the real retail you’re better off googling the item.

i looked and saw that the original price might have been a typo, you can get them on the internet for about $30…HOWEVER…coming from a family who has spent a small fortune on remote control flying things, this looks like it is a much better value than the ones you can buy in the toy isle at any department store and with a much better price! the reviews look great. and with free shipping, who can complain??

Just paid 1.19 for one after using my gift cards from Swagbucks!! My hubby will be happy; his flimsier heli has had several crashes and it’s just not the same. My two year old will be happy, too since she enjoys Daddy chasing her,,,,at least the cat is no longer indoors! =)

I saw this deal on amazon 2 weeks ago. It’s rather deceptive though bc I almost bought it immediately at such a “great” markdown. But you can find this toy at this price everywhere else on the web. All the toy & hobby stores have it at this price- even ebay! I don’t know why Amazon has the “Original” price so high. Don’t fall for it. It’s an awesome deal, but you can get it anytime.

does anyone know about replacing parts? it seems like the heli is cheap but do you have to replace the part quickly/frequently? seems like that is were the real cost it.
