Yea! Thank you! You just made our next car trip so much happier!!

  2. Olivia Smith

I couldn’t find these in Target tonight…. all they had in the stocking stuffer section was battleship, connect 4, and trouble- I’ll keep looking because these are awesome stocking stuffers!!

    • Mrs.Hall

I had trouble last year when this coupon came out. The item “disappeared” then reappeared later in the season when my coupon expired. So everyone act fast!

Try looking in the travel center (luggage area) and in toys area (usually on wall of small games like card games and such by all the board games.)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Well by the time I got @ out Target they were all gone..so I went to Walmart…BiNGO!
      Got mine. Thanks

    • Madonna

I couldn’t find the hungry hippo either, but I was able to use the coupons on battleship, connect 4 and trouble! Got all of them for FREE!

    • Ashu

I had same problem to find this deal in target. I asked the target personal and they said they don’t have any more.
I try in Walmart and they have plenty of stock.

  3. brittney

  6. kelsey

ahhh thank you!! I was so unhappy when I looked my SmartSource over and over with no Hippos coupon!!

    • Tabatha

      I loooked like 4 times…I was like maybe I am missing it..lol

  7. Rachel

thank you. i bought a paper today and the inserts were very disappointing. 🙁 im totally giving up on buying the paper anymore..

    • Amanda

Thats why you go some where you can check before you buy or get it deliverd to you door.

  8. Celie

Thank you so much, Collin!!!! I was also upset, I bought 2 papers this morning specifically for the toy coupons! I plan on donating them to either a shelter or the Arctic league. Thanks!!!

  9. Jennifer

I found mine in The Boston Globe here in western mass. There was one for Pictureka too. I was able to get 2 travel size hippos and 2 Picturekas for around a dollar at Target. The girl at the register wouldn’t take my coupons at first for them, she just told me my total and acted like I had no coupons. Thank god I was watching her with my coupons the whole time. I told her my coupons were valid and that even if they beep she should be able to override them. She then told me that it shouldn’t be a big deal if my coupons didn’t go through. Um excuse me it is a big deal would you want to pay $20 for something or a DOLLAR?! I finally got a manager to come out and take my coupons. Sometimes you just need to speak up to save a dollar!

    • MommySpendsLess

“She then told me that it shouldn’t be a big deal if my coupons didn’t go through” – Seriously?! I’m torn between disbelief and laughter. I can put up with a lot of so-so service, having worked with the general public myself I understand how trying it can be but really I don’t understand that response.

    • Julie S.

No big deal if you take your business elsewhere, and that cashier gets less hours as business at Target gets less of your business and coupons.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i was able to use the battleship coupon at target for their stocking stuffer battleship game!!! woot!

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

which picktureaka games??? are they in the stocking stuffer section too?

    • Rhonda Y

They are cards. I found them in the toy section hanging on the end of an aisle!

  12. Melissa

I used both coupons today at Target. I got the travel size Hungry Hippo, travel size Battleship (even though it wasn’t a U-Build) and I used the Johnson & Johnson coupon for a travel size First Aid kit (mentioned earlier this week) and spent $.65 for all of it!!! Best day EVER!

    • MommySpendsLess

Good for you, I’m sure your kids will be thrilled on Christmas…but to keep Collin and her awesome site out of trouble, let’s not talk about using coupons for products they’re not intended for, that’s how things get shut down and I know all of us would be SUPER disappointed if that happened!

    • Maria

Did the games coupons beep for you? It always makes shopping that much more of a pain when the coupon beeps and the cashier disputes its validity for the item purchased. It will definately make a different if I decide to get these items or not…sometimes I feel like I should pick and choose my battles each purchase.

      • Wendy B.

I used the printable MQ’s at Target tonight and they did not beep for me.

  13. Bobbie

Thanks Collin you made my night. I was dissapointed this morning when I realized my SS did not have this coupon. Thanks again you are great.

  14. venice

just got back from target coupons worked great, thanks so much….

  15. Christina

I know this is off topic but I am having a problem printing my coupons and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I was able to print any coupon from any site until two days ago. I have not been able to thru coupons.com for days I have updated their software, removed and reinstalled etc my hubby has it on his computer and his works but mine won’t. I have gone thru the installation and agreed etc and had it ready to go it pops up telling me it was installed and I am ready to print but when I go to print any coupon itis telling me either I don’t have the software installed which I do or I need to put in my zipcode and I do then it tells me I need the software again. Not sure what happened since I was fine and haven’t changed a thing on my computer but thought I would ask just in case anyone had any suggestions. Thanks for any help in advance 🙂

    • shannon

yeah this happened for me. I had to go through my anti-virus and approve all the sites and enable cookies for the sites. then go back through and re-install. HTH

    • rochelle

The same thing happened to me exactly! 2 days ago just stopped printing for me. I tried contacting coupon.com website but their solutions did not work. If you figure it out, please please please pass it on!!

      • Mrs.Hall

ya, I too have problems here and there and I can’t help but tinker around trying to fix the problem.

If the above still isn’t working, try uninstalling again..then turn off your security firewall(s) then reinstall. Once installed, turn your firewall(s) back on and ADD the installed program to the firewall(s) “exception” list to except cookies. Then just for the heck of it, restart your computer.

Hope you can get it running again!

  16. Amy H

I was even able to use the Battleship coupon at Target for the travel size game. I found it in the stocking stuffer section right next to the Hungry Hippo. Double score! Thanks for the fabulous money saving tips. I love it.

  17. PatriciaThomason

I am SO impressed with 1-800-ToysRus right now!! I called my local Toys R Us and they were all out of the U-Build battleship (after being forever on hold). I call the 800# and not ONLY did they have it in stock for purchase on the phone, but it was $7.99 AND they honored the $5 off coupon AND they waived the shipping because I have shoprunner and they couldn’t enter that in on the phone so they waived the shipping for me!!! Only $3.18 and I’ll submit for the rebate later!! =) Twice I have called their customer service and twice I have been supremely impressed!

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They did not have the $5 coupon in my newspaper I was SOOO disappointed! I bought 4 papers, and looked thru every single paper and NOTHING! UGH! This is the first time this has ever happend to me that they actually didn’t have a coupon they were supposed to have in the Sunday paper. Can anyone tell me how many coupon books were in the paper, I only got 1 book from RedPlum.

    • Michele

I got all the inserts in my paper, but didn’t have that coupon either:(

      • Mrs.Hall

I had (1) SS, (1) RP, and (1) very small GM with all the coupons you can already get on the coupon sites. The SS didn’t have a lot of the listed (Hasbro not there) and some were for smaller $ amounts. My region bites lol. Hope next week is better.

  19. Mitch

thank goodness cause I did not get these in my flyer.
I will get 6 and donate most to Toys for Tots, I just like the shopping part!
    thanks

  20. Christina Stewart

    BOUGHT MINE TODAY…THANKS!

  21. Angel

All of the hungry hippos were gone at Target, so I went to Walmart (snagged them for $0.24 ea! Horay!). I also found the pictureka (card game…. it was in the back with the other games, and card games) for $5.00. I used the $5.00 off pictureka, and it went through! Snagged those for free! Sweet deal. Now I can see if the battle ship @ target work tomorrow, and I’ll be set for filler items for my niece’s and nephew’s. NICE!!

  22. Jen

Thanks for posting the links. The paper here in central PA, did not have the coupons. I was majorly bummed until I read your site!!!

  23. Olivia

those having troubles finding Hungry Hungry Hippo. don’t hesitate to ask a Floor Rep. It doesn’t even have to be from the Toy department person.

I went and asked someone in Health and Beauty(she was the nearest to the stocking stuffer in front). showed her where I thought they should be she imputed into the hand held and looked it up. sure enough they had 18 in back!!! she went back there herself and got 5 of the out for me:)

  24. kris657

I used the coupons @ my Target with no problems!…no beeps at all…I got hungry hungry hippos for free and the pictureka card game for $0.24…..i also got a trivial pursuit card game(over in the game section with the picturika card game) with the coupon that listed trivial pursuit for only $0.24!!!…..not sure if Im going to give them as little extra gifts at Christmas or donate them yet but i am soooo excited!!!

    • Angie

Where did you find the coupon for the pictureka card game?? TIA

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

it was one of the 4 that came in the paper insert…..i think it also had catchphrase & 2 other games that i cant remember on it….

  25. Michele

Thank you! I bought 4 u build battleships at Toys r us for 7.99 and used 4 of the $5 coupons, I figured I could give 2 to Toys for Tots. When I got home I read the rebate and it states 1 rebate per game and 1 rebate per address. I bought all 4 in one transaction, so I can only get 1 rebate I think. Just fyi, if you for the rebate deal, have them ring them up seperatly HTH…I didnt but it was still a good deal.

  26. Phillis

Wow! My Target actually had some of these today. I found them in the Christmas section. Thanks Collin and everyone that posted about this.

  27. Tabatha

I printed off 4 of these and was going to try to find a place to drop off for toys for tots…But do any of you have any clue on what places do the toys for tots…I have not seen any bins anywhere I have went shopping at..I didnt know if there was a place that always has it…I am just getting in to the really good deal findings on toys first year for Christmas deal shopping.

    • Kara

Toy R Us, Walmart and Dollar Tree usually have them where you come in or behind where you check out:)

    • kimberly

I work at Pier 1 & all the stores are set up for Toys 4 Tots donations. 🙂

      • Jodi

I’ve even seen a box at RiteAid for toys to be donated. They have one for food, too.

  28. Belle

    Thanks for the deal! 🙂

  29. Amanda H.

Awesome! I was so bummed it wasn’t in my SS today. Thanks so much!

  30. Stella

I just got back from Toys R Us and was able to score 3 U-Build Battleship games. Thank you very much!!

  31. Jen in FL

Thanks so much for posting the printable coupon! 🙂

  32. Tisha in SC

I am so glad I was able to print this q. It did not come in my SS this morning so I thought I had bought 5 papers for nothing. Thanks Collin. YOU ROCK (as my kids say)

  33. margherita

Went to walmart and price matched some of the games on sale at toys r us today.
Planning on saving some for Christmas presents for kids and others will be donated. I also found some peelies at walmart that were for $5 off monopoly u-build,sorry spin, guess who?extra, and monopoly electronic banking which sweetened my shopping experience further.
    I got:
2 hungry hippos for .24 each after coupons
    1 U build Battleship for 2.99
    1 Sorry Spin for 4.99
    1 Twister Hoopla 4.99
    2 U Build Monopoly 2.99 each

    • Gina

I also found these at our Target here in CO – they only had 2 on the floor, so I just asked one of the employees and they went in the back and got me the rest. I didn’t know about using the Battleship coupon there – I’ll have to go back in the morning. I love the travel size games and I needed some inexpensive gifts for some children’s parties. These are perfect!

BUT, I did get 2 of the UBuild it Battleship at Toys R Us, and when they gave me the rebate for the Hasbro games I found out it has a $3 rebate for Hungry Hungry Hippos too! So, an extra $3 back for that one too – Woo Hoo!

    • Christina

I just got back from price matching at Wal-Mart, too! I was just planning on getting my kids a Sorry Spin and a U Build Battleship until I found the tear pads. I ended up getting:

      1 U Build Battleship – 2.99 down from 15.00
      3 Sorry Spin – 4.99 down from $20
      4 U Build Monopoly – 2.99 down from 15.00

That’s $135.00 worth of games that I got for $29.92 plus tax!
I now have gifts to send to school for the Angels the kids’ classes adopted.

      • kayla

what is a tear pad? is it a peelie coupon?

        • Christina

A peelie is a coupon that is actually stuck to the product and you have to peel it off the product to use – preferably with the product it is on.

A tear pad is a pad of coupons that are usually attached to the shelf somewhere around the item/items the coupon is good for. You have to kind of ‘tear’ it off the pad to use it.

  34. itsjustme

For those of you that are purchasing 4, 5, 6+ games mainly to donate, may I suggest leaving some games on the shelf as a “donation” to us that will be purchasing for our families.
    Thank you 🙂

    • Christina

I bought a lot of games (8 to be exact) But most are going to nieces. 2 are going to school for Angels. It was either send a $5 or $10 donation (per class) or send gifts. I chose to get the best deal I could on a gift for the Angels, knowing the same deal would not be able to be gotten tomorrow when the teachers go to make purchases with the donations.

My Wal-Mart still had a LOT of all the games I purchased. They had pallets of them ready to restock and there were several tear pads. I only took coupons from the tear pads for what I actually used.

I wish you luck in finding the games you need.

  35. Katrina

Meijer has an mPerks coupon for $5 off any board game $9.99 and up – sorry if this was already posted and I missed it.

  36. Mary

    Are these links still working?

  37. Kim

Does anyone know if we can order this online at walmart or target and then use the coupon when we pick the items up (if we have it shipped to store)? I have been looking online at Walmart’s website and haven’t been able to find the item! I only have a Walmart and Kmart in my town- and neither of them have this item! The nearest Walmart is like an hour’s drive! But, I want some of these for my nieces/nephews/and my son!

  38. sam

i just got back from walmart and they didnt take my coupons cause they said it was for the big hungry hipos game

  39. Teri

Where is the stocking stuffer section? Is it the $1 section at the front of the store? I checked there and also the section where they have travel card games in the toy section and I couldn’t find the Hungry Hungry Hippos Travel size. I found some of the other ones like the Travel Pictureka, etc. Was I looking in the right section?

    • TD

Go to the section where they sell Christmas things and Christmas candies. They will have a section of all sorts of candies and toys that you can put in stockings hence the stocking stuffer section. Good luck.

  40. Carlene

Went today and scored 2 Hungry Hungry Hippo games for free and 2 Pictureka games for .24 each. Thanks so much!!

  41. Tabatha

Went today printed 4 coupons because was going to get some extra’s for toys for tots and evidently even though I live in a small town others in my town must read this and other blogs because there was only one left and I asked an employee and she checked and there were none in the back..So I only got one but thats okay will just keep looking for extra’s. But was happy with my one.

  42. Haley

I went to walmart tonight to get this for the family we adopted this year and the Walmart in Beech Grove, IN had the travel game marked up to 9.47 has this happened to anyone else?

  43. Kate

Got one today and it was the last hippo on the shelf. Tried my other Target this evening and there weren’t any left. One is better than none and I had no trouble with Q. Yeah.

  44. Brandi B

I went to Target and they were out of the HIppo game, so I asked a worker if they had anymore in the back. He happened to be a manager and said they were out, but told me he would let me use the coupons I had on any of the other Hasbro games that were priced the same, so I got a Perfection and Trouble and they were free too!! The coupons still scanned and worked without a problem! I dont know if anyone else will be this lucky, but it is worth a try!

  45. esther

does the system deduct that 1 cent automatically since the coupon is $5 and the toys are $4.99?

  46. Sis

I tryed to print the hungy hungy hippo coupon and it tells me I am at my limit. I have never printed this coupon whats up with that and how can I get a coupon?

  47. Norma

I tried to print the one for Hungry Hungry Hippos, but it would not print, saying I had already hit my limit. I got one of the others just fine, but I WANTED Hippos! I swear, that’s the link I clicked on first, but got the other one. I had a co worker try, and she had the same problem.

    • candy

say i already printed it i did not
