Hi If you have the large mega blocks the ones for 1 year and up the pirate ship is great. I got it a few days ago very impressed for the price. I purchased it on Amazon for $12.99 about a week ago during the lightning deals.
a heads up… I ordered the thomas set last week when it was $14.99 and I have to admit to you I had no idea it would be as big as it was. When it came to my door I couldn’t remember what I had ordered. I was PLEASANTLY surprised when I saw this package. Funny how it works out sometimes 🙂

I know, right? My husband brought me the package and was all excited thinking it was a present for him. I was pretty sure I knew what it was but wondered why the shipping box was so big. I opened it and the whole thing itself is huge! Awesome toy for awesome price (14.99 last week)! But now my only worry is that it’s for my son’s bday present since I swore I was done Xmas shopping for him when I bought it… but his bday is not til the end of July. Where on earth am I going to store it?! LOL

FYI, there are more Lego games priced at $5.99 too and these do sell for at about $15-20 in real life, so I think these are good prices. I just bought a few because they are great birthday party presents for grade school boys! I would not let the average ratings deter you. Although I haven’t played these games before, Lego is quality stuff and boys love it, I’m thinking just not everyone is a “game person”. My son would love it even just for the pieces!
kind of upset I got the Thomas misty train mega bloks set back when it was $37.00 and you could spend 75.00 and get the limited amazon gund bear not really sure I needed the bear it would of been nice to get the cheaper train set instead? hummmm

Is the Thomas set a good deal if you don’t have any other Mega Bloks? I mean, is it suppose to connect to anything else?
I can’t stand this set. Falls apart with even the littlest bump. My four year old is pretty careful with toys and this one frustrates him to no end. I wouldn’t spend money on this again and won’t even consider any of the other Thomas Mega Block sets.
