Please beware that they are out of the country. I placed an order on Thanksgiving day and still have not received it. The week before Christmas, I contacted their customer support via e-mail and after one week received a reply that my items had been shipped just a few days before and I needed to wait another 1-3 weeks. My orderr contained items that were holiday specific with Christmas 2010 on them. Totally unacceptable to me. I’m sure their items are great, just beware it can take 1.5-2 months to get your things! Next time I will order inside the USA. Just a heads up 🙂
I had exactly the same issue- an order placed on Thanksgiving Day with 9 Christmas gifts that has yet to arrive (as of today, 12-31). I asked for a refund but they said no even though the items are useless to me now even if they DO come (Baby’s First Christmas ornaments, etc). They said that the order has shipped but I seriously doubt it. Since there isn’t a deadline this time maybe they will have better service but I won’t buy from them again. Good luck! 🙂
Me too! I placed my order November 13th and still haven’t gotten my cosmetic bags. They were supposed to be Christmas gifts for my mother and mother in law! I did finally receive the photo book I made on November 17th. It came December 23rd. I’m not buying anything else from them until I receive my first order and see if it’s worth planning so far ahead!
Yes, they tell you they are in Hong Kong and that the shipping is very long. It isn’t like they “pull one over on you”…
I didn’t remember seeing anything telling me they were in Hong Kong when I placed my order or that it would take a long time to get it. In fact I went back and looked at the web site and the only time I saw that they were in Hong Kong was when I clicked on contact us. It still says 7 – 12 business days to receive your order. So, I had no idea it would take months to get my things.
I got my orders within two week but you should bE aware that they are in china and it’s pretty ridiculous to think you can pay $2 to get somethig shipped from china and arrive very quickly.
I love this idea for Christmas next year or Mother’s/Father’s Day this year, but I agree, my pic’s won’t load, glad it wasn’t just me, thought my computer was just running slower than usual today

When Colin posted about this on Christmas Eve I placed an order. Today I got an email that I should receive it between 1/8 – 1/13, but with this disclaimer: The shipping times are estimated and are not guaranteed. Shipping times take about 8-12 business days. (During holiday periods, 4-6 extra business days may be required.) Please be more patient on shipment arrival. I’m anxious to see how this turns out before I order anything else from them. I read so many negative comments about their shipping.

I ordered the medium photo cosmetics bags on nov 19 and they came dec 19. I had read that shipping takes a while so it was expected. The plus is that they turned out great and everyone loved them!

I have ordered a few things from them and been happy with the product…ornament, 5×7 prints, photo change purse. The shipping does take a while but usually arrives within 3 weeks. If you want something for Valentine’s Day, I would order it now to be safe.

I do too, but no free shipping on those. I saw it and spent time to create a bunch of stuff on my free list – and then went to checkout only to find I owed like $70 in shipping costs!!! Searched for a free shipping coupon and found one (free shipping on orders over $30 FREESHIPPING30) except it would not apply both credit + free shipping…just one or the other! Needless to say I deleted those items and just got the keychains. No rush on those, ordered 3 and it cost $5.97 shipped.
I went thru the Silverlight design thing and did get my photo to load, but when I went to check out, I used the code and the price went down but it did not give me free shipping. Shipping was $12 or $35…. yikes. Anybody else have this problem?

I ordered the photo ornaments a while back when they were $1.99…One with each of my children for the tree–we do this about every other year. We received them in plenty of time for the holidays and I LOVE them!
Just ordered four key chains. The company gives you LOTS of new member credits, and you just pay shipping for those. You have to use the Silverlight option though, to get your photos to load … it’s free as well. Great deal !!!
What is Silverlight? How do I do that?
The link is below the keychain. It takes just a few minutes to install. This is the only way I was able to load my photo.

I had the same problem, and then I installed the Silverlight and was able to upload my photo. Unfortunately, I am ready to check out but can’t until I am a registered member. It wants me to click on a link in my email to verify, but it hasn’t sent me the verification email and it has been an hour:( This has been a long process without much success yet!
For anyone who has ordered from Artscow before, try signing in and go to the credit & discount link on the left hand side, it seems like they are crediting you TONS of free stuff (just pay s&h) when you are a new member!! There are things like free prints, money clip watches, stainless steel watches, classic tote bags, and much more, all free! This would be great for birthdays and future Christmas presents!

It only lets me do two key chains for free. But it gave me a laundry list of other free things to try. If I am not paying anything, then I can wait for them to get here. The front page had a blurb about shipping/mailing and weather conditions for airmail.
I ordered 4. One for myself and the other 3 for Mother’s day gifts (my Mom, MIL, and Grandma). I didn’t have any issues with loading pictures. I loaded the pictures that I wanted to an album before creating the keychains. I didn’t use the Silverlight for uploading either.
How did you get free shipping?
With the code provided LOVEKEYS it gave me free shipping. It still shows as $12.95 shipping, but when I put that code in, I was only charged $1.99 per item with the credit.
