Rite Aid Resolution Program:
Each time that you use your wellness+ card from now through January 22nd, you will be automatically entered to win one of 775 prizes to help you be healthier and more active in 2011. Prizes include: Polaris All-Terrain mountain bikes; Nintendo Wii game consoles, complete with Wii Fit and a balance board; Life Fitness ellipticals or treadmills; Apple iPod Touch and $50 iTunes gift card packages; Rite Aid gift cards; and the grand prize, a 4-day/3-night trip for two to the Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. Click here for more details.

Video Values Update:
This month’s selection of Video Values includes a special new Beauty Bonus that is different than what you’ve seen in the past. The Beauty Bonus is $4 off your purchase of $20 or more. In order to get the Beauty Bonus, you will need to watch all of the videos in the special beauty section, which will combine for this high-value offer. There will not be individual coupon offers for each video for this section only.

$5/$25 Total Purchase Coupon Update from Rite Aid:
All legitimate $5 off $25 coupons will be honored at Rite Aid up until the expiration date as marked. Due to some internal changes, they may not scan correctly for a few days, but instructions have been given to stores that these legitimate coupons should be accepted. Please note that they are, as always, limited to one coupon per customer, so multiple versions of the same coupon cannot be accepted. Questions and concerns about coupon acceptance at Rite Aid stores should continue to be directed to our customer service team, who can be contacted by visiting our secure chat service accessible at www.riteaid.com or by calling by calling 1-800-RITEAID (1-800-748-3243).

Through January 22nd, get a $20 +Up Reward when you buy $100 of select items. The list of eligible items can be found in the January 2011 Rebate Directory. Look for the starred items in this post. For the very latest Rite Aid coupon policy, please go here. I would encourage you to print a copy to take with you to the store.

??? no i didnt get that deal so that cant be it LOL it had to be either rp,ss or p&g inserts….i remember thinking wow thats a high value coupon but if no one else can find it i hope i didnt accidently mess up and it be a $2 off 2? but i really dont think it was grrr i hate when i 2nd guess myself LOL

        • Jande

you are right it is $2/1 and it is in the 12/26 P&G.

  2. Cherie Roche

Collin, you are awesome. My worst nightmare is that your husband will get transferred overseas and you won’t be able to work out the deals. Thank you for your hard work.

  3. Jaime

Dixie Ultra 35ct paper plates were $3.99 BOGO at my store. Used $3/2 VV, so only .99 for 2 packs of very nice quality paper plates! Was not able to get any free 4pks of TP, my store was already out as of 3pm today. They did allow me to get a raincheck for 4 free packs which is better than nothing. I really think they should set limits on deals like these so people cannot clear the shelves. I managed to get 2 boxes of tissues for free as well!

    • melly

there is also two video coupons for dixie plates. one for $2 off of 2 and one for $3 off of 2 so i bought 4 things of plates owed $8 used both coupons so only owed $3 for the 4 packages of plates. ohhh and they counted towards my resoulution rewards.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi! I was able to get the 1 pack of TP … it is the SIMPLIFY brand. Each ONE roll has a $1.00 UP attached to it. I bought 40 rolls, and got 40 UPS back. They weren’t advertised as producing UPS, only the Rite Aid brand was. But it worked fine! The AM told me I was done for the day, after I left with 40 🙂

There were PLENTY left though … a few HUNDRED rolls! I made sure that I didn’t just take everything. I think it’s because it wasn’t advertised!

      • Anon

Advertised in my store and in my flyer…??

      • Liz

The simplify is the Rite Aid brand. My store didn’t have the one pictured and she said they didn’t have it, the simplify was their store brand. After buying it I noticed it did say Rite Aid on the side.

  4. Mary C

The casheir told me that the TP was gone within 5 minutes of her opening and they still limited it to ONLY 2 per person!!!! I did not get to try the hormel extra +up cause they were out but they did not print with the chef boyardee!!! BUMMER!!! The B1G1 dixie plates were my best buy with the VV $3/2 making them $0.99 for 2!!!!

    • Tilla Ham

is the vv coupon for this month? i didn’tk now about it, dixie paper plates are my favorite!

      • melly

there was one video to watch last month i belive and one to watch this month i forget which one was the $2 and which one was the $3

        • Mary C

Yeah I watch it last night!!! The $3/2!!!

  5. Amber

I purchased a bunch of tissue at different stores today. There was a sign in one of the stores for the $3 Up if you buy $10. It was for the RA Tissue with lotion. I did this twice at two different stores so as not to wipe out the inventory. It worked. I got all my $1 ups PLUS and extra $3 up. 🙂

    • Liz

I saw that sign too, so it was legit not a mystery UP. My store had tons of TP and tissues. I bought 10 tp this morning, used $6 UPs from last week and paid $5 for the tp and clearasil (after coupons) I went back this evening and bought 10 tissues( used the $10 Up and paid nothing, not even tax) Got back $13 UP from buying the 10 tissues. They still had tons left. I wasn’t going to buy more, leaving it for other people, but I guess I will go back tomorrow since they still had lots. I even asked and they said they had more in the back.
Oh…and a question for someone. I bought the 10 tissues and tp, but it didn’t add $10 to my Resolution rewards – only $5 towards it 🙁 Anyone know why? or if this happened to you? I am only up to $65 towards the reward. Might do the Burts Bees deal and save them for gifts.

      • Jennifer

I’ve been buying stuff from the resolution rewards list and even the specific ones marked in the stores and my total never adds up right. It’s always a little off but todays trip put me way over and I finally got it.

    • Luvmyboys

I was trying to gigure out how i got the 2 extra $3 ups. TY

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just got back from Rite Aid. I purchased 10 of the facial tissues. Only 1 $1 UP reward and the $3 UP reward for buying 10. Is there a limit of these or should I go back and get my other 9 $1 up rewards???

      • rick

I went yesterday and did facial tissue and tp and got $1 up for each one I purchased, but then today I went and purchased 4 facial tissues and only got $1 up…I think it was because I used $3 ups to pay for them and it only gave me $1 for what I was out of pocket…just a hunch though.

      • K Crew

My store said limit of 1 per household.

        • Ashley

they just put the sign up at my rite aid 1 UP reward per household starting now I guess

          • KP

I went this morning and got 5 TP’s and the UP’s printed $1 each. I went to another Rite Aid and bought 6 more and only 1 Up printed for $1. I called customer service because I was short 5 Up’s, and she said there was a misprint in the ad and there was only suppose to be 3 per Rite Aid Member. She said she could send me $3 UP maximium so at least I have that coming. You could try calling and maybe get some rewards sent to you anyway.

      • Dana

came down to stores this morning limit one per household

  6. Jodi

After reading about all the trouble with the toilet paper not being in stock, I ran to another store in my area (both stores I went to today are within 2 miles of my house) and both my stores were well stocked so I did pick up a few more at 4:30pm. I guess this time I am lucky because often I cannot do the deals because things aren’t available in the store. Win some, lose some I guess.

I also wanted to post about a deal that I am excited about that wasn’t listed here and I wanted to check it out before I posted. I haven’t been able to use my $1 off 2 Mars product because there have been no small valentine items that would work last week. However, I was excited when I saw the buy 3 cards, get a bag of candy free in this week’s ad. I wanted to see if it worked on the 99 cent cards and it did. So use the in-ad coupon for $2.50 off one bag of candy (I did Dove for $2.88) and stack it with the $1/2 Dove Dec. video value and the Mars coupon for $1/2 valentine candy products. So……..for $4.23, I picked up 3 cards and 2 bags of Dove candy! Not bad!

  7. Desiree C

Is it anybody else’s experience that only 20 UP rewards will print on a single transaction (doesn’t matter the amount of UP, just that only 20 of them print)?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve had that multiple times. I think my experience is if you have 26 or more ups ( not $26 but 26 up) to be printing on one receipt none will print. I usually try to keep my ups limited to per receipt in case of any hidden ones.

      • anon1

it happened to me today too — is this something we can call 800-rite-aid about?

        • Susan

Yes. Call on Tuesday and they should be able to mail you your missing rewards. I got shorted by $8 because there was only space for 19 UPs to print because of all of the messages about the resolution rewards, end of year point processing, etc

    • Tilla Ham

i’ve heard that it used to be 26 per transaction and now is 19..and if you try to do more than 19 it will not work. I think this is hit or miss because I have done 40 in a transaction and gotten them all..but other times gone over 25 and had none print. a pain of glitches they need to fix

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This has happened to me with them not printing. I talked to the manager about thinking their was a glitch where the ups do not print if their are over a certain amount supposed to be printing. The manager was nice and re-rang my transaction in small smaller orders. All my ups then printed out like they were suppose to. Usually when you call 800 riteaid they tell you that you are supposed to talk to the store about them fixing it, but they took care of it the time that I called.

    • dreamofsavings

Rite Aid has established a new limit of 20 single ups per receipt. It has been talked about on manyforums or boards. The CA shoppers noticed it on friday when the new sales started for them, sunday for us. When I went shopping yesterday I told my coupon friends about it too and they were thankful. Because if you have already received your RR award it will only print half of the 20th UP because that message takes up it space. HTH.

  8. Tilla Ham

there are two new couponers in my area..whom don’t live here but are traveling distances to wipe out shelves..blah i hate them lol. anyway no tp (don’t mind much as was only going to donate it) but no snacks which we really wanted!!!

  9. Christa K.

Hormel deal worked for me – bought the 4 Hormel cans of chili and received a total of 5 +ups.

    • Racquel

Do you know if I did not do the deal correctly. I bought 5 Chef boyardee and still only got back one $1 UP reward. I thought I would have gotten 6 since I bought 5 food items and then the $1 for the deal.

      • Jennifer

From what I have gathered over the last couple weeks it’s only the Hormel that gives $1 UP. The Chef Boyardee I don’t think has the monthly hidden UP.

  10. Ashley

I got to my rite at right when they opened 9:00 and there was a guy (customer) in line checking out (only guy in the store) and he bought ALL the toilet paper not 10- not 20 – not even 30 ALL of it lol oh thats a little fib he left 1 (yea thats not a typo) four pack (why just one???? lol)

  11. Tami

I have a question about Rite Aid and I’m hoping someone has an answer. I went down today to buy Schick Intuition Razors that are BOGO and the manager told me I could only buy a total of four (including the free ones). I use these exclusively and wanted to stock up and I had $2 off coupons I really wanted to use because they expire today. Can she put a limit on the quantity even though it’s not posted anywhere? I was sweet and didn’t argue and they had a ton on the shelf so she eventually was a little nicer and let me have a total of six. Is there a policy on this? Thanks for your help!

    • Cindy

Managers can always set their own limits.

  12. Stacy

I don’t know if this has been answered already… but can anyone tell me if the $100 for the Resolution Rewards is before +Up rewards and coupons, or after? Lately, with the $4 pilot +Ups, $1 food +Ups, and $5 Darice +Ups, I’ve been able to pay for the subtotal of my transactions using only manu coupons, rite aid coupons, and +Up rewards. I thought by now that I would have bought the $100 worth of participating products (or at least gotten very close to it), but it’s adding up so slowly. I’ve been stuck in the $50 range for the last 5 or so transactions! 🙁

On a side note, I ran out to my closest Rite Aid today, for the tp and TGIF deals, and they were so fully stocked on the tp that the 10 I bought didn’t even make a dent! Gotta love it 😉 No extra $3 +Ups, and no signage for it either. The cashier had to laugh when my receipt printed out… the +Ups part alone was almost as long as I am tall (it came up slightly higher than my nose). 😛

    • Paige P

I’d like to know the same answer about the Reso. Rewards. I’ve been going strong, week-by-week. Thus far, it’s seemed like everything is BEFORE coupons and UP rewards. Tonight, though, I went in to spend my final $25, but it didn’t count my coupons and UP rewards, so I’m not there yet. ARGH!!! It’s frustrating to have it work sometimes and not others. Everything I’ve read (not on the RA site, though, b/c I can’t find the answer there) says it’s before coupons, but that didn’t work for me today.

Maybe someone else can help us figure out the answer.

      • Beth

I think it takes time to register in their system. When I bought something today (2 different Rite Aids) my total that printed out on my receipt was the same, even though I had just purchased something that morning. I believe it’s tallying up the $ BEFORE coupons because I have spent maybe $2 OOP since December at Rite AId, and I have $83 toward it.

        • Tara

My TP purchase today put me over for my reso. reward. I didn’t even know it was included, but I was very excited!

    • Sheila

my receipt was printing out a message that the resolution rewards were on hold and not calculating. Hopefully you’ve saved your receipts and can call 800riteaid.

    • anon

I believe it is before. Actually, I know it is before as I bought a sonicare essence (with a raincheck) and paid hardly anything out of pocket and all those points went toward my total.

    • Stacy

Thanks for all the replies!! After yesterday and today’s purchases, I am $9.15 away from getting the resolution reward 🙂 I went to a different Rite Aid today, not knowing the TP deal was dead, and bought 10 single rolls + 10 tissue boxes.. only 3 $1 +ups printed out, so the manager came up and told me they received an email telling them the limit was 1 per household. Weeeelll there were no signs imposing a limit, so they ended up crediting me the $17 that should have printed out.. I knew it was too good a deal! 😉

  13. Maureen

Hey Collin, 62,307 people can’t be wrong… You are AMAZING!!!!! 🙂

  14. Liz

Has anyone tried using the $4 off $20 Beauty Bonus on non-beauty items? I just printed mine and it doesn’t say anything about using it on beauty items, just that it is a beauty bonus. Wondering if I should try using it on something else. I really don’t need any beauty products right now 😉

    • JustMe

I posted above that I tried it today and they wouldn’t take it. Photocopy of coupon at registers instructed cashiers to only accept it for beauty items. I agree that the coupon doesn’t say that so wondering if calling RiteAid would do any good.

    • Cindy

I’ve been able to use the $4/20 on any purchase with no problem. I have not seen signs in my store saying you have to use it on Beauty Items.

    • Beth

I used tje $4/$20 last week on a transaction (no beauty products at all) and it went through fine. No beeps! =)

    • Jennifer

Mine didn’t print with any beauty exclusions. It just said $4 off a $20 or more purchase like they have in the past.

  15. butterfly421

don’t forget to check the EXPIRATION DATES for the T.G.I.Fridays! Our store have expired tgif…..some dating way back Oct 2010 and some don’t have an expiration date stamp on them.

  16. Linda P.

I was at Rite Aid today to get the “spend $30 on specific products and get $10 UPS+ back”. I tried to purchase 3 of the Vicks Sinex plus other products. I gave the cashier 3 of the $4.00 coupons. Well the registered beeped and 2 cashiers told me I had to purchase the product pictured on the coupon. I explained that the coupon indicates ‘any Sinex product’ but the cashiers told me they could no longer override the register and they couldn’t accept the coupon. I walked away from my transaction, but I wonder if anyone else experienced this problem today.

    • Racquel

I have tried to use this coupon before, the last time when the Vicks was on sale. I picked up the Vicks with Sinex and they said the same thing about it having to be the one pictured on the coupon. They didn’t want to take my coupon at all either so i don’t know what you really have to purchase to be able to use it.

    • butterfly421

Few weeks ago, i purchased one vicks sinex 20 liquiCaps and I used a $4 coupon with a picture of a sinex spray that says “on ANY sinex product”. At first, they didn’t want to take it but then looked at it again when i said that the coupon states ANY sinex product and they entered it. Like today i used a $1 off ANY halls product and the register beeped, cashier said they can’t take it because its not going through. Same thing happened when i used a centrum coupon before that says on ANY centrum. I wonder why.

Has anyone tried the $1 off any halls cough drops coupon from drugstore.com link? because i bought 30ct halls defense today and mine beeped. thanks

  17. Luvmyboys

There was a sign at the $5.97 tide saying if you spent $30 you got $10 up anyone know if this works and do have to get all tide for it to work?

    • Jennifer

Always ask your store manager! Today I wanted to finish my resolution reward and saw that Airwick was part of it. The Airwick had signs around some of it’s different products that said Buy $30 get a $10 UP. I asked the manager and he said if there is a sign it should work. He stood with the cashier and saw me get over $30 but no UP printed. He went back and took the sign and agreed I Should of had one and gave it to me anyways hand written. I have to use it at that store rather than our other one but he was super nice about it.

  18. lauram

I went in for the TP deal at about 3 this afternoon. Totally wiped out, not a roll left. the cashier said they were gone by about 10 am. I was able to get the tissue deal thought bought 10 using UPs and got 13Ups back…. 🙂

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Clearasil Stayclear Daily Pore Cleansing Pads 90 ct is $5.49 at my Rite Aid (Seattle WA). With 10% off as silver+ member, it rang up at $4.94 – $2 in ad coupoon, and $2 coupon Collin posted that you can print out, it’s $.94 after coupons. And get $1 +UP make it a good deal. Even better deal for Gold+ members.

  20. lade

Can someone tell me where do I find the $4 off $20 video/ coupon? I clicked the link and logged in I do not know where to go from there.

    • Amy

When you go to the Video Values there are 15 beauty videos that you have to watch. Instead of each of those videos giving you a coupon you get the $4/20 coupon once you watch all of them. Hope that’s not more confusing for you. 🙂

      • lade

Thank you so much! I will start now!

    • K Crew

You have to watch 15 of the beauty videos. They say 1 credit, instead of a dollar amount. After you watch them, it will give you the option to print it.

      • lade

Thank you! I really appreciate everyone’s help!

  21. Anu

I have used $4 off beauty bonus on non-beuty items no problem here in SoutWest WA.

    • lade

Thanks, but I am needing to get the coupon she has on the deal for the nyquil and body wash things.

  22. Jaclyn

Happy to confirm that when I purchased 4 Hormel Chilli (w/ beans & w/out beans) I got the 5 $1 +Ups. I also purchased TGIF bacon cheddar, TGIF mozzerela sticks snacks & the quesadilla TGIF for 97 cents & each of them printed teh $1 Up as reported! Yea! Good day at Rite Aid! No TP, but that is ok- you snooze you looose! 😉

  23. Craig

Was glad to know I hit my Resolution Rewards amt today!. Good deals!! Glad to know this RR Up reward expires a month out!!

  24. T

    hi…
i have always shopped CVS but this week went to rite aid for the awesome deals i saw. Not one things i wanted had a tag on it, so i assumed they were replacing the tags for this week. is it just me, or is it weird that i found the ad and it says deals only went thrgouh the 14th and they had a new ad out already…..i didnt get any of the deals! this is san diego on saturday morning.

    • Ashley

I think the sales start on Sundays.

    • Stephanie

Circulars renew on Fridays in So Cal.

      • TD

fridays? thats weird. so bummed i didnt know this before…really wanted the cereal 🙁 thanks!

    • shelby

my rite aid changes tags on Saturday (our sales start on Sunday) so if you go in on Saturday evening, it can be very confusing, but the register still honors the current sale.

  25. shere

Does anyone know if the pineapple works with the extra 3UPS. Thanks,Shere

  26. jen

I keep missing rite aid deals bc my rite aid seems to be different than the online ad. Now I am having a hard time understanding all this. I missed out on the markers ok no big deall another deal will come along, now dixie plates, clearasil and the finish dishwashing soap now the one thing that was on sale was completely sold out hormel and toliet paper. Guess who ever bought all the chili needed all the paper. I just dont understand why wipe out shelves we have 3 rite aids and someone cleaned them all out.

    • Liz

🙂 Your comment made me laugh. Yes, I guess they would need all that TP after the chili 🙂

  27. Jodi Beck

Does anyone know if the sharpie reward is still working?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      for the sharpie deal
the $5. was last weeks deal
the $4. each was the monthly deal.
if your wanting both.. the deal is deal.

  28. Amber

FYI – The RA toilet paper and tissue UPR maybe limited to one now. I bought 5, only received one and every other person in the store with me only received one too. They gave it to us on gift cards, but not everyone may be that lucky – Best to ask before trying to get a 5 year supply 😉

  29. Ashley D

The TP deal is dead 🙁 just did the deal this morning there is now a limit of 4 per card. The cashiesr did 3 different transaction just to test the system. The 1st one we did 10 Facial tissue I only go a 3up and 1 1up, 2nd one we did 4 TP and TGIF chips and I only got back 1 1UP for the TP and 1UP for food item, and the 3rd one we just did 4 TP and I got 0 UP so people please be careful the UPs are not printing for the TP : (

  30. Paola

Hi can anyone tell me if the TP deal is working in NYC, Queens!
    Thx!

    • dreamofsavings

it’s dead now. only one per household. The others above got there’s before it kicked in. HTH.

    • Racquel

      Paola,
It seems to be random limits now per card. One of my sis-in-law bought 3 and got back $1 UP. My other sis-in-law bought 3 and got back 3 $1 UP. Both transactions took place in the same store at the same time. The only difference, the first sis-in-law made a purchase earlier that evening at another store. So it may even be a limit per day.

  31. Donna

I was so bummed this morning, Went in for the TP/tissue deal. My Rite Aid was sold out of the tissues and 4-packs and only had single rolls. Limit 1. Oh well, guess it really is better to try and go first thing Sunday morning for some deals. Better luck next time 🙂 BTW, I also bought over $20 of Burts Bee’s and my $5 reward didn’t print. But the manager was so very nice and gave me $5 cash back and appologized for the strangeness at the register. Just an FYI to double check your receipt and make sure yours prints.

  32. Nicole

Can anyone tell me if you have done the Buy $30 of Select Items, Get a $10 +Up Reward for the Sinex? Is it part of the deal for sure? My ad doesn’t have it pictured or listed. I sure hope it is working, I hate to get all the way through the transaction and not get my UPS.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought it and it printed no problem plus at mine it was marked as included on the shelf.

    • Nicole F

      Great name! 😉
I bought them last night. It worked!

  33. Chris Wescott

I was just there. The Asst. Manager was on the phone with Corporate when I was asking about the Tissue deal. They told her to check email and there would be a sign to print out that limits it to One Per Household. She said it worked when they opened, but then it didn’t work after 10 am.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I wish the limit would have been yesterday. One man wiped the store out of the single roll, 4 roll and tissue. Greedy person because he resells this and is not allowing anyone else to get it.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Doesn’t make much difference now.

They’re going to have a lot of left over paper products.

  34. HeidiP

I bought 2 of each tp and two tissues yesterday. There were 100’s on the shelf, but I wanted to leave it for others. Most people in my town don’t know anything about the deals, but I still like to leave an overflowing shelf just in case someone wants some freebies. The store manager did try to encourage me to buy more, but I declined. Happy shopping everybody!

  35. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep just confirming there is a 1 per household limit now on the toilet paper deal, no matter how many you buy, you will only get 1 up.

  36. Daniel West

Just did the deal in Providence and only got a $3 +Up for the 10 boxes of tissue and nothing for the 4 packs.

    • Misty

      That’s what happened to me:(

  37. esther

ah man…i just went 1/2 hour ago and bought 10 rolls of paper, only 1 $1 up came out. =( ..i used my gift certificate and Ups to pay for these too!! store said they can’t give me back my coupons!!! can i call corporate 1800 and see what they can do?
i also went to 2 separate RA, first store had NOTHING left (TGIF, tissue, chili)…second store only had the tissue and 4 more cans of chili….crazy!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They may not be able to give you back the Ups/GC, but if you go in and return and purchase new items at the same time then they will just use that amount toward your new purchase. . .

      • esther

I did suggest that to the supervisor, but she didn’t allow me to return the tissue papers and purchase something else to absorb the coupon value. =(

  38. grace

is the Rite Aid brand TP really good? someone said it is not. Our Rite Aids just converted into a Valu? store so I am missing out

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s really cheap. I went to several Rite Aids yesterday and the day before, getting a few tissues and toilet papers at each (so as not to clear shelves). I just opened one of the four-packs of TP today and it is pretty rough, lol. Ah well, I will be using it for awhile now anyways I guess! I thought the tissues were a little better quality though.

  39. Christa K.

Just did a live chat with corporate re the TP deal. They said a limit has been imposed — according to the person I talked to though, she said limit one of EACH: one roll, one 4-pack, one tissue box. I haven’t been back to try the ‘one of each’ thing to see if it’s really printing that, but that’s the new ‘limit’ according to the woman I spoke with.

  40. Paola

Is the TGIF $1 uPS still printing?

    • Amy

I bought 5 about 2 hours ago and all five gave me an up reward. 🙂

  41. Pam

I went to Rite-Aid today for the toilet paper and tissue deal. I bought 18 all together I only got 1 up reward that printed. I was told that Rite-Aid is only giving 1 up reward, it dosen’t matter how many you buy you will only get 1 up reward. Ask the manager before you buy.

    • Christa D

I had 3 print today. It’s so random.

  42. Jo-Ann

Sheesh! I’m getting “Rite Aid Burnout”, trying to keep on top of the latest information & changes–need to take a break!

Just got back from RA in Orange, CA. They have their Christmas stuff 90% off but it’s just junk left. Also there wasn’t one TP, tissue box or 4pk TP. All cleared out.

Hello- I am a coupon newbie…I went to Rite-Aid today to buy the 4 packs of tp. I bought 2 just to see how the up rewards worked. Nothing printed on my receipt…what do I do? Is the up reward on my receipt or is it on my wellness card? HELP!!!!

    • Liz

Should have been on your receipt. Did they scan your wellness card?

      • Jewelann143

I had just signed up for a wellness card on that trip….do you think that affected the Ups not printing?

        • shelby

Ups should print as long as she swiped your card, even on your first trip in, even if you got your card that very trip. I am not sure if you can call now since you can’t prove that they didn’t print. I guess we need to know what we are expecting to print and make sure that it does!

I purchased tissue yesterday and got $1 up per box. They were out of TP. I went to a different Rite Aid today and bought 10 rolls of TP and 6 tissue. Only got 3 ups. I emailed corporate and they said it was limited to 1 up for TP 1 up for tissue and 3ups for buying 10. I used up a lot of my rewards buying this and $1 a roll for TP is crazy! If I hadn’t got such a good deal on the cereal I would be really Bummed. Thought about returning it…but that would be embarrasing!

    • Rachel

Heather I did the same thing! Bought 10 TP today, only got ONE Up back for it 🙁 Kind of bummed…but I just kept it as opposed to returning it….I would’ve bought more anyway. Just better than the hassle of returning. When I asked why I only got 1 UP, she said “It’s a limit of 4 for this store.” So I said “Then why didn’t I get four back?” She said “Oh, I don’t know. They must have changed it.” Well, they should have put up signs!!!

boiron children’s oscillococcinum 3 doses is a money maker. $6.29 BOGO. use 2 of $2 MQ from https://www.oscillo.com/special-offers/ and get 2 of $2 UP+. i’ve got 8 boxes so far. coupons will beep but my cashier is aware of this MQ always beeps (even the pellies on the box beep)

is there a limit on the chili deal?

    • melissa

not that I know of. I bought 4 yesterday at one store, 4 more today at another, got $1 up WYB 4 and 4 $1 UPs for the Snack Foods deal both times.

AFA the TP/Tissue deal — my thoughts are if RA knew of the shelf clearing on Friday or even Saturday b/c thats when the Cali ads start, then they had more than enough time to memo the rest of the RA stores to limit quantity. I was able to get 4 tissues only, as they were the last 4 on the shelf. No TP at all.

It’s a shame all the shelf clearers have ruined this deal for the entire country. I was in Rite Aid yesterday to do the TP deal and had 4 packages in my cart as well as 1 box of tissues. There was plenty there and I could have been greedy but my conscience wouldn’t let me. There was a woman in the next line who had over 30 packs of TP in her cart. I noticed her coupon binder and figured she was a fellow couponer and said to her nicely that she shouldn’t have cleared the shelf and left some for others. She told me that this was her 3rd store and I should mind my own business.

Shame on her and good for you for speaking your mind.

    • HeidiP

If there was “plenty there” maybe she figured that 30 rolls was an acceptable amount. Perhaps as “nicely” as you informed her that she shouldnt have bought all 30 rolls she just had a different opinion than you. It happens. While you were happy to spend your gas money to get four packs, apparenty she wasnt. Everybody has different needs, values, etc. I am sure you left happy with your choice to get four packs. Personally I would be horrified to go shopping and have anyone looking in my cart and commenting on what I bought, but hey thats just me!

    • Liz

I completely agree with you. I couldn’t find one roll of TP or a box of tissue today. This was my first trip to RA since the sale started and I couldn’t even get one. I hope RA continues putting limits.

    • ICEMOMMY

She’s right it really is none of your business what she does. She isn’t telling you what you should and shouldn’t be doing but feel good that you are doing the right thing but realize that people don’t react to that comment in a positive way. If there was an issue let RA management address that with her….

We all have something in common…we have at some point been belittled, picked on and even been torn down by cashiers and managers for us using coupons down to a pure science lets not become them and give each other a hard time too. RA will give out rainchecks for any product out of stock. So no harm is done.

      • Monique

        I agree!

I also went to Rite-Aid for the Toilet Paper deal only to find out that it was changed to only 1 per household! Luckily, I was still able to get a few deals while there! The hormel chili worked well and so did the TGI Friday snacks! I also got 2 Christmas trees (4.5 ft) for only $1.99 each! https://www.dealsanddishes.com/2011/01/my-rite-aid-deal-0117.html

Just got back from Rite Aid, the TP deal has changed and they have hang tags on the paper location that say LIMIT 3 PER HOUSEHOLD. I don’t know if that means 3 per transaction or 3 per card?!?! According to the cashier someone went into a Rite Aid and bought a pallet worth of the paper!!!!! That made corporate change their policy 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Greed hurts everyone!

    • Nora

why would a manager let that happen. That’s crazy. I felt guilty with my four packs knowing it was early in the day and lots of shoppers would be following me.When the cashiers tell me about other couponers I’m embarressed to say I coupon. I always try to create a better atmosphere about couponers with the store . Telling them I agree with limits and always, always being honest when I use my coupons. It does make a difference one day I was in wags and the manager saw me coming and told the cashier “Oh you can trust any coupon she gives you she is my favorite couponer she’s always honest.” It really took me back, but made me think, that is how I want to be known in my town.
