    Updates from Socal:
Hormel is also giving a $1 UP for each (monthly deal) so MM.
The dove included is ONLY the original / fresh dove, not the go fresh or ultimate dove deodorants/aerosols.
Maalox is 4.99, use $5 coupon from sunday paper (a while ago, forgot which one) and get back a $1 up!! 🙂
Gas x prevention is also included in the $4.99 get back $1 UP, so use the $4 off coupon from a sunday paper from a while ago, pay .99, get back $1
    Awesome deals this week!! 🙂
    HTH collin! 🙂

    • Emily

LOL, srry, spelled my name wrong!! 🙂 xD

    • Collin

Thanks for the updates, Emily!! You are awesome! 😀 I added the Gas-X and Maalox deals!

      • Emily

        Your welcome! 🙂

      • stephanie

        Lightbulbs are 4 per household
Colgate with $3.50 up is 2 per household.

        • Collin

          Thanks… I added those limits.

    • msrossdaboss

Is there a limit on the Dove?

      • Amber

There was none of the sale dove in any of my stores. I don’t understand why the flyer says ANY dove invisible solid if it doesn’t include a majority of the doves that seem to be solid and invisible. HA! The only one on sale must be truly invisible. 🙂 I got a raincheck. Hopefully, they will get some before my coupons expire.

    • LaToya

Was just going to ask if Gas X Prevention coupon works…thanks for the update, Em!

    • Amber

Has anyone actually done the Gas X Prevention deal? At my RA the only Gas X Prevention was 12.99 and it was not on sale. ??

      • Tawanda

I purchased a package of Gas-X Chewables (18 ct Cherry Creme) in New Orleans, and I received my $1 UP+.

        • Amber

Did you get the Prevention? I’d like to use the $4 coup but it’s only for Gasx Prevention.

      • Christine

Our Gas-X Prevention was on sale in nw ohio, there was a sign for it and it rang 4.99 no prob, and got the 1+up on it. HTH

I love how you’re doing these matchups really early. Thanks a lot!
The Nature made fish oil mentioned in the deal are 10.49 at my store. 8.49 if you have gold status (which I have) but unfortunately doesn’t apply to BOGO sales.

    • Kathy

Was going to comment the same thing — appreciate the early match ups and, as always, the great format! Thanks for the work you do!

      • Collin

You both are so welcome! 🙂

    • Daniel West

Yesterday, one the Olay body wash, I got my 10% discount on the 1st 3 items and 50% off the other 3 before b1g1 coupon.

    • Katie

Does the Maalox or Gas X go towards the heart healthy?

      • Emily

LOL Julie! Use the gas x before chili, and maalox after!
@ Katie: I don’t think so, but they do count towards winter rewards! the Maalox is an easy way to get towards 100 if you haven’t already! I’m going to finish up tomorrow, can’t wait to get it!! 😀

    • Krissy

Anyone know if the gas x prevention that is included in this deal is the one good for a $3 SCR?

    • Toni

Awesome Emily! I always have the hardest time with my transactions & mess something up! 😉

        • Emily

          Nope! 🙂

      • Jennifer

        What is GOS?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          Gift of Savings

      • Pauline

Wanted to say when the Axe was on sale 2/$9 a couple weeks ago at RA it included one scent(at least only 1 was marked) of the twin pack body sprays. It was the scent that said Boom Chicka Wah Wah 😉 lol. It was red and blue. I got 2 twin packs for $9, used a BOGO Q for $4.50 off and got back $3ups. So $1.50 for 4 sprays. It actually smells really good!

  10. Zack

I feel spoiled. I want to save my $5/1 Maalox coupons for a bigger moneymaker than $1.

    • Kelley R.

I know what you mean! I’m going to use mine this week though, because I’m not sure if a better deal will come along before they expire on March first.

    • Francoise

I hear ya. Aren’t we silly sometimes? 8) But I must say I’ve never regretted using a coupon, though I have regretted saving it.

      • Pauline

        true true!

    • rachel

last week wags buy 6 would have benn 8 mm.

  11. Tracie

The Tooth paste has a limit of two.

    • Collin

      Thanks! I added the limit.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yippee! My favorite part of Saturday, well besides spending time with the fam 😉 Collin, thank you so much for the post, I know it takes time from your fam, so I want you to know I APPRECIATE it!!

  13. fairy dust

I’m all about the Maalox and the Finish this week – got my coupons and vv ready. Woooo!

  14. Steph

I tried to print the Benevia coupon after signing up for their e-mail and the site came back saying there were no more prints left. That was fast!

    • Collin

Oh darn! 🙁 That stinks… I will update the post with this info.

  15. Emily

aww. 🙁 Lol, i don’t have ANY dove q’s left. I had 2, and i got those from a friend. 🙁 Guess im going to have to deal with the maalox mm’s and the other awesome deals this week, lol! 🙂

  16. Tracie

Also the light blubs have a limit of 4 per card.

  17. jhh

Collin, the Nature Made fish oil that is counted in the heart healthy promo is “NatureMade Fish Oil, Odorless, 150ct”, not Nature Made Fish Oil 1200 mg 100 ct. $8.49. Maybe you got NatureMade and Natural Bounty mixed up? Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

    • Melissa

no, all of the NM Fish Oils are counting. when the promo first started, I did not buy the 150ct, but 2 smaller bottles (one odorless, one not) and both were credited towards the HH.

      • Amber
  18. Mitch

The food deals work best for me at Rite-Aid.
If you count Hershey’s chocolate as food!
And my son can eat the Ragu, my homemade sauce is too much trouble for me to make for 1 person.
    thanks!
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

    • Kathi Long Deese

Chocolate is a veggie…It’s made from cocoa beans HTH Mitch 😀 lol

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t find the cambell’s soup coupon… Do I need to put in a certain zip code?

    • cassie

      I couldn’t find it either 🙁

    • Collin

It does not appear to be available any longer. 🙁

  20. lilia

how do you manage to get 7 coupon for NM from all you mag ??????

    • Melissa

I think 7 All Yous is a bit of a stretch to have for this deal. I get a sub, as do my mom & sister, so the most I would have of any coupons would be 3. I might buy another issue in the store **if** the coupons were really good.
I think more realistically using a combo All You/Inserts or just inserts since you can order them from a clipping service. I rarely see clipping services offer coupons from magazines. Or even ebay auctions.

  21. KELLY

If you were able to get one of the FREE Clarol Foam Hair Color coupons from their daily deals a week or so ago, then this is a $1 money maker. I just got mine in the mail today – perfect timing!!!

    • Melissa

wait til the week of the 27th, you’ll get $2 +UP instead!

  22. Toni

Hey frugal friends! Can you help me by going to Short Pump Mall’s FB page and “LIKE” my comment on there? Someone is beating me by a mere 50 “likes” because she has a “fancy blog” 🙁 There FB page is facebook.com/shortpumpmall
    Thanks Friends!

    • momwhocares

I had to “like” the facebook page – but then I “unliked” it after I “liked” for you.

    • lms1983

      Done!!! GL! 🙂

  23. Jessica

Collin, thank you so very much! You are so wonderful and amazing! Now go enjoy the rest of your Saturday with your family 🙂

    • Collin

      Thanks Jessica!

  24. Audrey

Ok I have a colgate q for B1G1 and have not seen this q in any scenarios using it was planning to do this tomorrow

    • marcia

do you know where you got that by any chance? thanks!

      • Audrey

I have no idea it wasvwithinnthe last few weeks I clipped and don’t remember which one I clipped from but it’s for the sensitive too!

  25. Nancy

I can’t find the Campbell’s soup coupon. Can anyone help me find it?

    • coralie

      it’s gone

  26. Anu

    What is Maalox? 🙂

    • Andrea

An antacid. Usually in a bottle I think.

      • cassie

Yep, they have it in liquid form or chewable tablets like Tums. I prefer the taste of tums but keep a bottle of these in the car for a reflux emergency 😉

  27. Heather

I guess I must be crazy because I am actually happy that there aren’t that many deals I am interested in at Rite Aid this week 😉 Just Almay and toothpaste. If they have restocked the Hormel, I may do that deal too but they have been out of the Hormel for weeks now.

    • melissa

too funny, I filled half a page with the deals I want

  28. Jaime

Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste is included in the Heart Healthy Promo. Looks like a great way to get $7 towards this reward plus a $2 mm if you have the $1/1 coupons.

    • Collin

Thanks Jaime. I added that to the deal scenario.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I dont get it though. That coupon says for: Colgate Sensitive or Colgate Clinical (2-6 SS). So how could this work for the Total Advanced?

      • Melissa

there is another coupon, that was in an insert in Jan that’s for ANY Colgate 4oz+. My area received .75/1, not $1/1 though.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks got it, I got the .75c too (1-30 SS)

  29. Noelle

SO excited about the deals this week! I came really close to using my Dove coupons that I ordered from a clipping service last week to get free Dove at Kroger, but I wasn’t able to make it before the sale ended. I was really bummed until I saw this week’s deals!! How amazing is that?? I ordered 10 coupons so I’m going to make $10 on the Dove! Yay!!! Thanks Collin for your awesome match ups! I go to a lot of other blogs, but your weekly pharmacy matchups are the easiest and best by far!

    • coralie

go to iheartriteaid.com to get a sneak peak at sales ahead. currently she has posted the week of the 20th and the 27! i love seeing into the future (for this anyway)!

      • Jennifer

I do that also! A lot of times the sale repeats the next week or the week after.

    • Toni

What’s thee best clipping service to use?

      • Noelle

I use Taylortown preview. I haven’t tried the others, but I’m very happy with her. She had all the coupons I wanted, sent them promptly, had good prices, and even included some bonus coupons! 🙂

  30. Craig

Does anyboy know if this Heart Healty total is on your receipt or what? I got my $20 off the Winter deal but didnt see anything about a running tally on this.

    • Melissa

no, it does not keep a running tally for the HH. Unfortunately, one of those that you have to keep track yourself. I just kept a sticky note in my RA envelope with a running total.

      • Craig

Shoot, if I didnt keep track to date. I guess it will be a mystery win once reached. lol

  31. SenoraE

Collin – will you be using coupons from the P&G booklet for any of your match-ups? THAAAANKS for all you do! 🙂

    • lacymarie21

I’m not Collin but I am using my $1.00 off any Gain dish for the $.87 Gain dish liquid! 🙂 HTH!

      • Amber

        ooo Yay thank you

        • Francoise
  32. Jennifer

Can’t find the Almay coupon in the 1/2 SS anywhere…. :{ must be regional….

    • serissa

      I couldn’t find it in the 1/23 either 🙁

    • Francoise

I didn’t get the Almay coupon in my paper either, but yesterday I found a tearpad with $3.00/2 Almay coupons at my RiteAid in Portland, Oregon. It was by the makeup displays. HTH

    • rie

awesome spreadsheet! Thanks for sharing the link.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This is awesome, thanks for sharing!!!!

    • Melissa

this SS is the BOMB!! I also use her CVS planner too!

  33. Lisa

Collin-Monthy $1 up on Nabisco Crackers and Cookies makes it $1.79 and cheaper with coupon
    Jif $1 monthy up also

    • momwhocares

This week I bough them on sale for $1.99 and got the $1 + up minus the $1/2 coupon – made them .49 a box!!

  34. sturgissaver

What zip did you use for the Airborne coupon? My husband eats this stuff like candy!

    • Collin

It came up without any zip code for me.

  35. Dawn

I still have $35 +Ups I need to spend this week (plus more that expire later.) They were all out of the Cookie and Cake mix, so I had to get rainchecks on those. 🙁 They did finally get all the TP and Tissue back in, so I got all that for free too!

  36. cindy

There is also a Rite Aid coupon on Febuary coupons in the videos you watch that is 2.00 off loreal everpure shampoo or conditioner which would make this a sweeter deal.

    • Collin

Thanks Cindy! I just added it. 🙂

    • Collin

      Thanks! Just added it.

  37. lms1983

Wish I could shop Rite Aid. Just don’t understand it. Should try and just maybe..same goes with Krogers. grr. Target is my place I guess. But sometimes I feel like their prices are high and that’s why they have their Target q’s just to bring down the price to normal..idk just me

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      LOL….do you understand this site????

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

cant get any easier then rite aid

    • Jennifer

I think Rite Aid is the easiest to shop at! Walgreens is the tough one.

    • Marina

I just started shopping RiteAid about 5 weeks ago . The most rewarding experiences I have had in a long time. I love RiteAid. Of all the stores I think it’s the easist. Those UPs just keep on rolling off the printer.

      • lms1983

Hey Hilda.. Ya know I couldn’t just keep my mouth shut. Been thinking about your comment all morning. I never said I didn’t understand the site. I said I didn’t understand shopping at RiteAid. FIgured I’d get some advice responses not your RUDE comment. Maybe some people need a little more understanding on some of the places they’d like to shop but afraid to enter, I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only person out there and comments like yours make it impossible for others to ask because of the snark remarks rude people make. But thank you very much anyways.

Thanks Jen, Marina, Anonymous, , maybe I’ll give it a shot this week!!!

        • Jennifer

Ims 1983, I don’t think Hilda’s comment was intended to be rude. I think you may just be sensitive right now because it can be overwhelming at first. It’s sometimes hard to see the tone intended behind written comments, so try not to jump to conclusions, which is something I see a lot of people do on here lately. I felt the same way when I first saw this site because Rite Aid offers SO MUCH that you just don’t know where to start, as opposed to CVS or WAGS which only seem to offer 5-10 deals each week. Hang in there. It takes about a month or two to get in the swing of things, but you’ll get there.
… and of course, thanks so much, Collin for all that you do! I anxiously wait on Saturdays to see your posts, but somehow don’t get them until 4 or 5 hours after you post for some strange reason. 🙂

        • Camara

ims1983 email me I’ll help you no problem and you can ask all the questions you want. langston6@gmail.com

    • Joan

lms1983 – I totally understand how intimidating it can be to start shopping somewhere you haven’t tried before. What I did at first was pick 2-3 deals that I wanted to try. That gave me the confidence and understanding of how they worked. After making several trips to Rite Aid I now go in with a huge list of things to buy. Is there anything specific you are confused about. Also you can check out the Rite Aid website. That may answer a few of your questions. I do agree with posts that others made on here that Rite Aid is actually one of the easier places to shop. In my area I have also found them to be the friendliest when it comes to using coupons. I hope this helps.

      • lms1983

Thanks ladies! I’m going to give it a shot. I just don’t understand the UP rewards… Do they go towards that purchase or your next purchase? I’ve shopped in Rite Aid but never with a their card. I always see all these great deals but since I don’t understand how to shop there so I am intimidated by it..this is why I normally only use coupons at Target..which I hate shopping at anymore because of the looks and the arguments with the cashiers! I guess the bad experiences I’ve had at Target makes me freak out that I’ll get the same experience there….

        Here’s an example of what I don’t get…

        Mucinex 14-20 ct. $9.99
Use the $1/1 coupon from the 12/12 SS or 1/16 SS
Use the $1.50/1 coupon from the February Video Values (i know what these are)
        Pay $7.49
        Get a $1.50 +Up Reward
Final Cost $5.99!* (ok, is this out of pocket or does the 1.50 UP reward go towards my next purchase???)
*Get a $20 +Up Reward when you buy $100 of select item

I think I will take your advice Joan and just go there today and make a small purchase and then maybe I’ll get a better understanding of how they work. I write down everything that I would want weekly from other stores, but the coupons in an envelope then just go there and down my list of what I want, I’ve had the Rite Aid coupons together before but think since I don’t have any rewards yet how am I going to save… idk.. I’m sorry if Im confusing anyone. 🙁

        • Joan

lms 1983- Using your example with the Mucinex, after using the suggested coupons you would actually pay $7.49. At the bottom of your receipt there will be a +UP reward for $1.50.that you can use as a coupon for anything that is non-prescription on your next trip to Rite Aid. (it is like cash to pay for your items) I went today and bought stuff that came to around $55. I had coupons, video values and +UP rewards from purchases I made a couple weeks ago. I ended up paying $13 out of pocket but I now have over $20 in +UP rewards that printed at the bottom of my receipt. I plan to make another trip tomorrow for a couple items I missed today and will use some of those +UP rewards. Several things to keep in mind with +UP Rewards, You cannot use them to pay for tax, so keep an eye on that. Also pay attention to the expiration dates. They don’t always have the same expiration dates. So look at all of them, I have made this mistake in the past and ended up not using them because I thought they all expired on the same date. The +UP rewards I got today had expiration dates of 3/5/11 and 3/15/11. So I will try to use the ones that expire 3/5/11 first when I go tomorrow. I hope that helps and that you trip to Rite Aid today was successful.
          Joan

          • lms1983

Awesome deal Joan! I haven’t went yet today. Husband just got home and has some running around to do…don’t want to haul kids in there with me..lol Anyways I guess I understand it better now. I wasn’t sure how it exactly works but makes sense now. I’ve been doing the video values, yet to print them but will before I go. Thank you so much for your help! And the advice on the expiration dates. 🙂 And..do you have to keep your receipts to prove you have the UP rewards or are they automatically taken off when you scan your card? BC I’m AWFUL at saving receipts!! lol

            • Joan

You need to cut them off the bottom of your receipt. You will receive a separate +UP reward for every item that you purchase that spits one out. My receipt was about 6 feet long today with 12 +UP Rewards of different amounts. I just cut off each reward separately to give to the cashier the next time I go in. They do need to scan your card and it is my understanding (and I could be wrong) that the +UP Rewards you receive can only be used with the store card. So in other words I don’t think you can use someone else’s +UP rewards with your card. I would also recommend that you have several deals prepared in case they are out of something, so you can still give it a try. Rite Aid is often out of sale items that have good coupons available for them.

  38. Kristina C

Is carefree and stayfree the same brand? I clicked the link on the stayfree deal and the coupon I see is for carefree?

  39. amanda

Does anybody have a recommendation for a coupon clipping website? I have visited a couple but they do not have the coupons I would like to order? Thanks in advance!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I buy from ebay.

    • Brenda

It depends what you’re looking for when ordering coupons. I use mycouponhunter.com when I just have a couple I want because she doesn’t require you to purchase a certain dollar amount. I’ve also ordered from couponsthingsbydede.com and couponsandforms.com when I had a lot that I wanted to order. All of them ship pretty quickly, too. FYI- if you’re looking for the dove deo. coupons, none of these sites had any left last time I looked!

    • Noelle

I tried taylortownpreview for my first time buying coupons, and I was very impressed. She had every coupon I needed for good prices, even the high value ones, and she shipped them promptly, with bonus coupons included!

    • Jennifer

I too like mycouponhunter.com I like it because you don’t have to have a minimum dollar amount and she shops super fast. I only buy maybe once a month and usually only 5 of them I really want.

  40. jessica

I’m not understanding how you are getting 4 q’s from the all you mag. Is it worth it to pay for that many subscriptions? I may need to do that.

I just bought 4 copies at Walmart. It was actually on sale for some reason, so only 2.24 a copy? I used the $6 Naturemade and the $4 NM already out of mine, plus the Oatmeal coupon. Couple other good coupons in that issue as well! It did totally pay for itself this month!

I didn’t see anything I would use for the next month though when I saw the list of coupons. I may just grab one copy next week in case there is a deal later in the month.

I’m not sure what what week this coupon was from but I have $1 off any two comet soft cleansers making them free this week!!! whoo hoo. Thank Colin!

    • Melissa

how? The abrasives in a can are whats on sale, not the soft cleansers in a bottle??

      • RNcarrie75

I just looked at the .pdf ad, the post didn’t state which comet cleanser. Darn!

        • Melissa

oh! I had just gotten my ad and thought I was overlooking something!!

I have a question…. I went into my local Rite Aid today and got the Pepto Bismol. I gave the cashier my rite aid manu coupon (that was in the sales paper) and it would not scan! so she laid it to the side and scanned all the rest of my q’s, one of which was .50 off pepto. She called the manager to the front about the store q and the manager proceeded to tell me that the one from the rite aid paper was a manu q and so was the other and they couldn’t combine them. Am I the only one that has heard this? Or was she getting one over on me?

    • Emily

Yeah? I was wondering about that! None of my VV q’s or in ad qs would scan!!!! They gave it to me on a gfit card AFTER I paid though. The other store entered them manually, and they were also confused as to why they wouldn’t scan. It was something with the scanner though!

this is off topic but I have a question about the All You Magazine. I order 4 Subscriptions and just now received my first Issue, just one though. So I contacted Blue Dolphin Magazine and asked them where the other 3 Issues are and they said that the publisher can’t send 4 Issues at the same time. so what they did is, they did the subscription for 4 years! I’d rather wanted 4 Issues every month, so I have multiple coupons…. did’ anybody have the same problem? how do people get more then one Issue at the same time?

    • Michelle

Send subscriptions to other people in your family. My husband & daughter have subscriptions in their names also so I can get the extra coupons.

    • jessica

do you really get enough coupons for it to be worth the price of 4 subscriptions?

    • Stacy

I also did the Eversave deal to get the magazines from Blue Dolphin and ordered 4 subscriptions of All You. That was in October…I haven’t gotten any of them yet. I already have a subscription for All You from Amazon, is that why I haven’t gotten anymore? I’ll have to call…now I’m irritated…my intent when purchasing multiple subs was not to prepay 1 sub for the next 10 years!!

Commence annoyed vent—…I went to a different Rite Aid today to see if there were any of the cold remedy SCR items left because I couldn’t get out this week – found one adult oscilli-wtvr and got some Halls and Old Spice/Gilette. Get up to the register and see a carboard tray of the Coldcalm sitting at an unused register. I made the mistake of asking the cashier if it was the sale item, I mean, why should he know if it’s one of the 4 hot free SCR items of the week? He mumbles something I can’t understand, so I hopped around the magazine rack to grab a box as he was scanning my other stuff. I ask if there is any of the Chestal cough syrup hiding behind the counter “ahno. eet is all gone. You come too late.” I say, “Well, Sunday morning also seems to be too late for these sale items.” He says, “We get truck on Monday.” mmm okay. Still doesn’t help me. but OK.

I went in not knowing how much I was going to end up spending but knew I wanted to at least use my $20 resolution reward that I had clipped off my receipt. Of course I’m looking for it…cashier finishes scanning, I hand him the $1 Old Spice and the bogo Gillette and continue to look for my $20 up (that I have been bypassing all week everytime I’ve opened my wallet at other stores). He asks me how much the Gillete was, I tell him. BINGO! I find the $20 and hand it over just as he gives me my new total. He scans, and I grab my receipt from last time that has about 5 random ups on it. I kindof mumble oops got a long one here and he says something. I’m sorry, what? “You need…I have long line” (motions to the 2 people behind me). I say umm alright and just toss him the whole receipt. In the past if I unexpectedly need to use ups that are still attached to the receipt I will snip them off as the cashier scans them, because for whatever reason they take 3-5 seconds to “take” before they can scan the next one. But if I DO clip one, it sticks to the back of something else then I can’t find it! So he proceeds to scan each one then tear it off by hand. Just tryin to speed things up dude. Maybe when I pulled my scissors out he was thinking I was gonna start finding some other random coupons to clip? Well I paid my .98 bill and trotted right out. I guess if you’re not buying two things with no coupons you’re really bogging up the fine-tuned machine that is the Rite-Aid checkout.

    Sorry for wasting your time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How funny! I couldn’t get out all week due to a dead car battery, Our RA was cleaned out of the Betty Crocker and the Excedrin, but they had all of the SCR items still. (I got rainchecks for the stuff they were out of) The manager rang me out since the printer from the other RA up the street apparently needs ink, so none of the Ups will scan that are generated there! I always feel bad when I had her 25 $1 ones that don’t scan!

She said if we gave her a heads up on what was going to be a hot deal, she’d order extra when she placed her orders. They’re such nice folks there (at all the drug stores I go to they are super nice!) Those Bioron coupons sure did cause a lot of beepage this week tho!

    • Kim

That’s what it is like every time I go to RA… I only have 2 of them in my area, and the second (nicer) one is too far away to go to for my normal shopping, so I’m stuck dealing with the crappy one. They always just seem like they have no time in the world for people with coupons, even when it’s an easy-peasy lemon squeezy transaction 😉 Oh well…I’ve come to expect it I guess!

For the Prilosec deal, is there any reason why we shouldn’t use the $8/2 from the 1/30 PG like Collin posted 2 weeks ago?

    • Collin

Woops! Thanks for catching that. I updated the deal scenario. 🙂
