Welcome to Coffee with Collin! As you may have read here, this is a new weekly addition to Hip2Save! Every Monday (which is today!), I will broadcast a video that captures me discussing couponing issues, budgeting, dishing about life challenges and more. And the best part about Coffee with Collin, I will be talking directly with one of you! Each week, I will contact one Hip2Save reader and we will visit about various money saving topics! I hate them too but my sister loves them. Right now you can pick up any style from the Loves Me… collection for 50% off. I think this is only for Valentine’s day.
Seriously Collin! I adore you! You’re my idol! I have been following your site for only a few months and you have saved me soooo much $$$! My husband is grateful for you too! I agree! LOL @your husband thats funny. I love all the money i save also. It’s nice to have such a great site to come to not only to save money, but to discuss & share topics from daily deals to family to so much of anything and everything. Love being apart of hip2save. It’s like a cyber space home. 😉

I agree, I’m not a fan of Vera Bradley either. And yes, I did think you were Superwoman with everything you do, but even I get out of my pajamas. We have routines too and I have to follow them just like my kids, otherwise they send me to my room. Get up, get dressed and make your bed. Then our day can begin. I think I need incorporate more coffee, though! Thanks for all you do, Collin!
No, I like the PJ’s. It makes me feel relaxed just watching her lounging on the couch! Jealous but relaxed!
Collin, you are so cute! I don’t care for those Vera Bradley purses either! My mom-in-law looooves them! She even has the luggage! Now, if you happen to come across any deals on Kate Spade-please post!!! It’s 12:05 p.m. and I’m still in my pj’s, but I find I get the most accomplished in my day if I stay in them and don’t spend the time on hair/make-up/wardrobe! If you could find a way to concentrate another “lesson” on bringing down the weekly grocery bill…I clip coupons, ad match, etc., but even though I’m now buying so much personal care items for nearly nothing-I still can’t seem to get my grocery cost as low as I would like! Thanks for all you do! Leslie

I know what you mean about saying think before you get the deal I went to rite aid this morning and got 6 hersheys bars with the bogo coupon it came up to $1.50 for all 6 great deal,right? not so much if you eat all 6 before lunch time.LOL,I have to stop doing that.

You are too funny! I actually live in Fort Wayne, Indiana where they make the Vera Bradley bags and I think they are the ugliest things too. In fact I had my son at one of the hospitals here in Fort Wayne and they gave me a Vera Bradley diaper bag. I sold it on ebay and made some good money because I didn’t want that ugly thing in my house. I love your website SO much, I can’t wait for these Coffee with Colin! Keep up the great work, you have saved us hundreds of dollars in the past 2 years!!!

I have a Vera Bradley purse… but only because I won it lol. i rarely wear it, but when I do I always get compliments? ha I honestly didn’t think they were that cute either.

I love your site and haved saved so much money by getting the deals that you post. I have saved so much money that I was able to purchase a new dishwasher and a craft station for our basement using rebate money and survey money. It all adds up so much. When the new year started I began to write down how much I save just using coupons. Right know I am at $250 dollars. I don’t live by any stores that double coupons so I think that is pretty darn good. Also, I have a suggestion for a coffee with Collin. My husband apprecitates all of the hard work I do to save us money but other family members who should be couponing but don’t are almost mean to me and talk down to me about couponing. I use to go on facebook and say how much I would save at target and the comments my family would leave were so mean. I think talking about how to deal with all the negativity that people associate with couponing would be a good topic.

I understand what you mean. Some people believe couponing makes you look poor and an embarrassment. I completely disagree – it makes you look smart! The only time I believe using coupons is embarrasing is if you are on a first date!

I cannot begin to even imagine how much money I have saved since the start of my following your sight, one of my biggest struggles for the longest time was wanting to catch all of the deals, I would get so frustrated if I missed one or let some of my Q’s expire. Slowly, I am learning to just get the things we really need and not stress over everything else. I do have a question though, how do you and all of the Hip2save followers deal with the women who come in and clear the shelves? I try so hard not to get upset and just let it go, but it still eats at me.
My coupon bag is a VERA BRADLEY bag.

I’m with you on the Vera Bradley. The patterns are way too busy. They look like my grandmother’s old suitcase.
