If you’re wondering what a House Party is..
Well, a House Party is thousands of parties across the country, hosted by people like us. Each event is sponsored by a leading brand (such as Kraft) and focuses on something cool that the sponsor wants its best fans to experience firsthand and share with their friends. Basically a House party let you share the products you like with all your friends, free of charge! Companies love to promote these type of events because it spreads the word about their products.

What free stuff will you receive?
That all depends on the specific brand your throwing the party for. Each brand has their own unique Party Pack filled with all kinds of free stuff to make your party a success!

I have been chosen for three house parties since signing up through a post on Hip2Save a few months back. One was an 18+ Girl Talk party, one was the Philly party (but I didn’t confirm my spot in time) and the most recent was the Digiornio party. Needless to say, I absolutely love House Party. Its a really fun way to bring your friends and family together, while trying cool products.. for free! And the party packs are always really, really neat. Its like your birthday in a box! And just because you don’t get chosen right away, doesn’t mean you won’t ever get picked. It took awhile for me to finally get chosen, but once you host one party it seems like you’re more likely to get chosen for others. To me its definately worth signing up for! 😀

I was also chosen for a digorno house party! It was totally awesome. 6 coupons for free pizza kits and 10 or 12 coupons for $4 off.
My kit also included a hot pad, pizza cutter, plates, spatula, basketball timer, wipes for fingers, a basket ball hoop/ball, and blow up wackers.

It was so much fun! Everyone had a blast and loved the new digorno pizza kits!

I was also chosen to host a Nilla wafer and international coffees party in November and a coffee mate coffee party in January! I am amazed 3 parties in 4 months!!

I too qualified for the digiorno pizza party and held it this past Saturday. It was easy, fun and so worth taking 5 min to fill out a questionnaire. You get so much free and fun stuff!!!! It was also fun to have your own party page that others could view your party pictures and ideas.

LOL I like the mix of basketball and the pizzas—Once you gorge on high fat and high calorie pizza you can then ATTEMPT to burn it off by playing “basketball”.

After over a year of trying, I finally got selected to host Kraft Ultimate Sandwich Makeover. I can’t wait!

I was chosen for the DiGiorno Pizza Party too! I was so excited to try their new line with the breadsticks and the wyngz. Unfortunately the grocery store where I shop did not carry the cookies one, but we still got a good spread to try. I actually wrote them to tell them that my party was going to be held a week later on the 26th because that is my birthday! 🙂 So I haven’t had mine yet, but I just got all the pizzas and am getting ready!

Last weekend I hosted a Bare Minerals house party! It was a lot of fun! I have tried for multiples parties before – and I think because I had used Bare Essentials makeup for so long and told about how I am always telling my friends about it – I was chosen to host a party on their skin care line. It was great for me to try something I hadn’t purchased yet.

I was chosen for the Bare Minerals House Party and even though it was great, I think I will apply for parties that involve activities based around the product (Food or scrapbooking). Once I got the email “Your half way there…” it was a race to log in and click around to get the party. I want to say it was a matter of minutes before comments were being made from people who did not get the party. Good Luck to all! It is worth it in the end!!!

What is usually required by the company to “prove” you had the party (is there a sign-up sheet that you have to send back or surveys the participants give you that you have to send back?) How many people do they usually ask for you to host for a party?

I used the house party website to invite my guests. There was a survey that I filled out after I had the party, but I have not been asked to provide any additional proof of the party. The website would also like to have my guests that attended fill out a survey as well.

I got in with the Digiorno pizza, too!. First time I tried I didn’t get in, but the second time worked like a charm. I love that all my info is saved and all I have to do is log-in then answer a few questions. I think they like people who are knowledgeable with the product? I said I liked Digiorno and my family ate it quite a lot and I got in. Was that the case with everyone else?

I was both surprised and delighted to be selected for the Philly Cooking Creme party. It was my first experience and went well. My guests and I enjoyed testing the product and the items we received were great. There was a skillet and oven mitt for the host, coupons, refrigerator magnets, spoons, recipe booklets and shopping lists for up to 16 people. Using their website to invite the guests made it easy and I liked getting ideas from other hosts. I made up goodie bags with the items from Philly and added a few additional items and my guests really enjoyed that as well. I will definitely try to do more parties in the future. I think this is a great way to try products and introduce them to my family and friends.

I just hosted the Digiorno Pizza & Hoops Party last weekend. It was a great experience. I loved the fun stuff that came. Everyone had fun trying the food and watching basketball and hanging. It was a really easy process and I would definitely sign up for another one and would recommend it.

I was chosen for the Weight Watchers party and I was pretty surprised to have received my package yesterday evening. Included was the following:
    Serving tray
    Serving pitcher for drinks
    Cute apron
Strawberry magnet pens (they didn’t work though)
    Mood board and paper
Lots and lots of coupons for me to use which were free values and $1 off coupons for my guests
