Great coupon. When trying to print first coupon, printer tried to pull all my paper through, the paper got stuck so i could only print one, still great. Does any one know what causes the printer to pull all the paper through at one time. Been doing that alot lately. Thanks
Try fanning the paper a little before putting it in. Some light weight paper tends to do this. Getting a little air in between the pages often helps.
What kind of printer do you have? I have a Kodak (pretty new) and it does this every so often. Well, often enough to make me want to throw it out.
I wanted this stupid thing because the ink was inexpensive.
I have an older Canon printer that has more expensive ink, but is years older and works like a champ! It have never picked the paper incorrectly and didn’t make me buy ink until all the ink was gone. In fact, I am going to spring for the ink and start using it again.
This stupid Kodak thing is loud and extremely temperamental.

I think so.
Not a silly question, but yes you’d pay applicable sales tax.
It depends on which state you live in. Here in Massachusetts the sales tax comes off also.
It depends on your state. In mine, we’ll still have to pay tax on the birdseed, but there’s so much overage the coupon will cover the tax as well.

You might still be able to find pine cones in wooded areas where folks haven’t picked them up and discarded them. I’ve been going out to the woods and there are many of them still on the ground.

Last time I tried using this coupon walmart cashier and manager refused to accept….maybe with the new policy they’ll accept. Seems so silly to be arguing over bird seed!

If you go to their website you can look for retailers that carry it. My walmart is not listed but there are lots of other stores like Ace Hardware and Kmart for my zip code. My daughter loves to throw seed out for the birds so this will hopefully still be a nice cheap or free item.

Here in the upper Midwest, Mills Fleet Farm stocks Scotts birdseed, and their prices are often as cheap or cheaper than any discount store – plus they often have sales.

Just tried it in Safari instead of Internte Explorere and this is themessage I got- ‘Sorry! You have already printed
this coupon the number of times allowed.’ I’ve never even printed this coupon before!!! So I checked SmartSource.com, and of course, they didn’t have the coupon. 🙁 BUMMER
I got the exact same message, and I’ve never printed this before. Oh well-certainly not going to ruin my day. LOL
You have to check for the Suet bars. It’s not loose bird seed. They are like bird seed blocks. Hope this helps!

Coupons must be gone. It is saying that I already printed one and I never did.

If your serious about feeding the birds, sign up for the Scotts newsletter. I received their spring newsletter 2 days ago with the link to the coupon. I think they send the newsletter quarterly. It also says follow them on facebook for special offers but I don’t do facebook.

Not carried at my Wal-mart…only Pennington. The suet blocks were $1.27 in that brand. I’ll keep looking for a place to use the Scott’s.
Got back from my wal mart usually they are so nice i tried to use the bird seed and the older lady at the register saw that the coupon was more then the bird seed so she said “o i cant give you the full 2.00 we dont do that.” I then told her they added in the coupon policy that wal mart does give us the overage.. she opens her eyes really wide and said NO WE DON’T! in a mean angry tone… so she priced it down to when the bird seed cost. I was a little sad and wasnt in the mood to argue i mean i got it for free but the overage would have been really nice 🙁
Print the coupon policy and keep it with out for moments like this.
In addition to Amanda’s suggestion of keeping the policy with you, you should also call corporate (1-800-925-6278). They will call the store manager and educate him/her on the new policy; they are very quick to place this call, too. I was able to go to the store a couple of hours later and the mgr. had already received the call.
I’m going to print out the new coupon policy now, as well as write the Corporate # on top of it. Thanks for the tip!

My Walmart had the brick-style seed for $5 each then I’d have had to buy the holder for another $5. I decided to pass. I left the coupons there incase someone else woud like to use them.
If anyone had luck printing the coupon before the limit was reached and you found that your store doesn’t carry it or you won’t be able to use the coupon(s), I could definitely use them.
