your comment made me lol! I can’t believe it myself, can you imagine if Wheat Thins didn’t offer a great coupon and instead gave us recipes for cheese and crackers? I guess we are just too use to large companies being generous to their consumers. Oh well! Really made me laugh more than anything 😉

I understand that the bottom line is a huge driving factor in these companies….however, I’d appreciate it if they didn’t hype them up so much if they are giving us a little bit of nothing. Better to say nothing and reward your fans with a nice little surprise of free recipes, a 30% off Philosophy coupon, a free lipstick with $25 in purchases, etc., than make it seem like you’re giving away something really amazing. It just ends up setting people up for a big letdown when the ‘big’ surprise turns out to be medium-sized at best.
