Huh I got a letter like a month ago saying that they had an extraordinary amount of request so they sent a coupon for a free pack of gum. Congrats on the flip flops!
Same here, no flip flops, just a coupon for free gum. Actually not really free since it says up to a 1$ and this gum usually retails for a 1.69 $ to a 1.79$.

No. But I did get my Drugstore.com order today! The Seventh Generation lunch bag was filled with all kinds of goodies & samples – 4 different health bars (from Luna, Kind & Balance), Funky Monkey banana/cinnamon chips, 7th Gen wipes & tampon sample, doggie wash, Dream Water, 2 different herbal teas, Emergen-C, Weleda Body Oil, deodorant wipes, Burt’s Bee Coconut Foot lotion and a few other goodies. I was very pleased!
My free Stouffer’s Stuffed Melt and Soup just came at the mailbox so I’m not even mad at Frito-Lay’s tech issues. But man, some people have to learn what patience is, though. It’s sad when people threaten a company because they have tech issues with giving out things for free. Hello, it’s FREE. It’s an act of good will for pressing a “LIKE” button that took only half a second to do. 🙁
Ceri, on the flip side, when you tell people to be back at a specific time (and you know how quickly things go), it’s a bit frustrating to wait and wait….I’m not one of the ones that has waited for the Frito Lay deal, but I am one that got caught up in the Philosophy deal that took FORever to post. Although I don’t think people should be rude, it is frustrating for them to wait…and wait….and wait….and hear nothing.
True, they should have been faster when they told the fans that they were having tech issues instead of waiting 20+ minutes. But I also really think that it was also unnecessary for some people to cry SCAM! and badmouth Frito-Lay like Frito-Lay did a horrible crime for making them wait. If they were paying Frito-Lay in order to get a great deal, I can understand the hassle that some people were giving. But it’s for a free bag of chips. I guess it just irks me a bit when getting things for free is an act of kindness and some people don’t appreciate it when they don’t get it immediately. All companies get frustrated also when they have tech issues, not just the fans. All they want is to give some freebies in appreciation of their fans but they get hounded by hundreds of people badmouthing them for something they can’t control 100%. Oh well, maybe Frito-Lay will restart this giveaway tomorrow with more quantities of coupons to make up for today’s mess.

Somehow I think they aren’t having issues at all, just saying they are to get people to lay off and come back later. Looks like they are blaming it on not being able to put up a link on their page. Um, its not that hard to post a link, a monkey could do it. I think they just get too many requests and it crashes their servers, or they have too many coupons to fulfill and try to force people to come back at another time. It also gets people to go to their page at a later time.
Some people are not to bright, saying they are going to boycott Frito-Lay and eat Ruffles or Doritos….ummm those ARE Frito-Lay! LMAO Frito-Lay is the Company!!!
